Chapter 20: Supreme Item

Chapter 20: Supreme Item

Bagsak!

The jaws of Dan's party dropped on the ground. Naturally, they were the party B. And since the other party was the one who used the [Zone 6 Ticket], they were naturally the party A. And they have the leisure to first make a bet.

But who would have thought that the other party would use their young lady as a bet?! The young lady wasn't even theirs in the first place, how could they use her as a bet?!

But after they thought about it more clearly, they realized that it could be better that way since they could finally be able to take back their young lady with their strength. With that in mind, the five of them traded a glance and nod as they decided to give whatever they had as a bet to match the value of their young lady.

They knew that their young lady would be expensive, so they all decided to give everything they currently had in their inventory as a bet.

But who would have thought that their young lady would cost 1 million diamonds?! Even with their entire fortune combined together, and even if they gathered altogether all the fortune they would have in their lifetime, it would never be enough to match even the tenth of their young lady's value. Just what in the world would they do now?! They couldn't even support their jaw to stop it from dropping on the ground.

But of course, it was not only them who were shocked like that. Even Robert's jaw had also dropped on the ground. The price of that lady was way too terrifying. Even with all his possession in the past, he could only have a sum of about 50,000 diamonds. And he was already proud of it.

But this young lady had totaled 1 million diamonds? Just how in the world was that even possible?!

Even the old man, the so-called Greed Spirit, had a hard time swallowing a mouthful of saliva. He even began to sweat upon hearing the value of the young lady before him. He instinctively shifted his gaze from the War Fairy to the young lady before him as he saw the smug and proud face of the other party.

"Hmph! I know I am that expensive!" Stella's nose was even lengthening while she was saying those words. She then shifted her gaze to the old man who used her as a bet as she asked haughtily, "Now, what do you say?!"

"This..." The old man didn't know what to say. He had never expected that this young lady would be so expensive. It had to be known that even he himself, the so-called Greed Spirit, could only cost a hundred thousand diamonds or so. But this young lady was actually ten times more expensive than him?! Just who really was she?! No, it was much better to ask, 'what really was she?!'

If he had known it from the beginning, he wouldn't have used the other party as a bet.

He should have sold her instead!

Many families in the entire world would definitely go crazy just to buy her with a price greater than a million diamonds.

Or at best, he should just store her and used her as a present to the king.

But now that he thought about it more clearly, he just needed to win the duel and he would have a chance to get this young lady later on. Not only he could win the bet of his current opponent, but he would also have a young lady that cost million diamonds. That was two birds in one stone.

However, at that moment as well, the old man was now certain this time, this young lady was not a human. He wasn't too sure if his conjecture was correct but he'd guessed that this young lady was probably a Supreme item. A sentient item that had just transformed itself into a human form after upgrading itself from Divine rank to Supreme rank.

The old man felt that he really struck it rich this time. Although he had only guessed about it, that possibility had a high chance of being correct.

The old man then smiled at the young lady as he remarked, "I never thought that you would be that expensive. I'm really ashamed of myself."

"Hmph! Good thing you know!" Stella harrumphed coldly. She was delighted to see the other party finally regretting his action.

On the other hand, Sylva who had a much greater awareness than her master noticed the evil intention of the Greed Spirit. She was just about to inform her master about it when suddenly,

"Piss off kid. If you don't want both you and this lady here to be killed, shut your damn mouth." Sylva heard a voice in his mind as she trembled in fear. That voice was certainly the Greed Spirit. The other party was even using Spirit suppression against her for her to comply.

What should she do now? The hierarchy among the Spirits was pretty rigid. Those who were higher in rank often used Spirit suppression to make the lower rank Spirit obey them. And even she was helpless against it.

Stella noticed that something was amiss with her summoned Spirit as she asked the other party, "What's wrong?"

Sylva was awakened from her master's voice as she took a glance at the Greed Spirit only to see the other party glaring at her. Sylva shuddered before she finally felt the Spirit suppression to be gone down.

"N-nothing..." Sylva replied to her master before she forced a smile.

Stella tilted her head slightly as she sighed. This summoned Spirit of her must be worrying about her for being a bet. Stella couldn't do anything about it though. She was already been placed as a bet.

With that, Stella shifted her attention towards the party B as she saw all of them in panic and was obviously worrying where would they get anything that could match her value. Stella couldn't help but smile at them as she said inwardly, "What will you do now, old man?!"

Of course, Stella was talking about Dan. Dan was not an old man though. After all, he was only in his early thirties. Stella was just mocking the other party by calling him an old man.

On the other hand, the beautiful lady was now staring at Stella very intently. Just like the Greed Spirit, she had already guessed that Stella was probably a Supreme item. But with her current strength, she had guessed that the other party still hadn't recovered her real strength.

But it was weird. The beautiful lady knew that this Stella Charlotte was definitely a human. How could she suddenly become a Supreme item? Whatever might be the case, it didn't change the fact that the other party had cost a million diamonds. And only Supreme items such as weapons, herb, summoned pets, etc., could cost something like that.

With that being said, there was a high chance that this Stella was not the Stella Charlotte she knew but a Supreme item who had copied the other party.

The beautiful lady was just wondering how could she have found this Supreme item strolling leisurely in this low-level place. Even if the other party had just undergone an upgrade, she should have been guarded by a high-level Player that was supposed to be her owner. Or if she had no owner, she should be secluded in a heavily guarded place until her full strength and memories came back.

Right now, the beautiful lady could tell that the Greed Spirit had already guessed about Stella's identity as well. And it wouldn't take long before this Greed Spirit make a move and run away with this lady.

The beautiful lady couldn't help but worry. Her plans must not fail just because of this. She already had a hard time tracking this Greed Spirit, she must not let this chance slip.

With that in mind, the beautiful lady didn't hesitate anymore as she sent a telepathic message to the Greed Spirit, "Before you make a move and run away with this young lady, let's meet the Vessel first, alright?!"
