Chapter 25- I want to meet him again
Chapter 25- I want to meet him again
[Town Rolegue, 6.30 AM]
The vast lands of greenery were spreaded around a two-storey wooden farmhouse. The livestock and domestic animals freely roamed around the backside of the wooden house. The sun shone brightly in the sky, providing a nourishing essence to all living beings.
The moderately cold wind of the approaching winter made the woman shiver as she drew water from the well and filled the watering can with it.
Bringing it near the small flower bed, the violet curly-haired woman sprinkled the water over the plants while humming to herself.
The scene of a beautiful woman, watering the flowers was quite captivating.
Amidst the hums of the lady and the subtle sound of birds singing in the background, a woman in her middle ages walked up to the young lady.
"You are enjoying yourself taking care of those flowers."
"Fufu~I just love seeing things grow. That's why I decided to become a teacher in the first place."
Clara, with an optimistic smile, declared the reason for the job she had applied for.
Clara always likes making those around her, grow better than their past self. Her passion for potion was as intense as her interest in teaching other people.
"That reminds me, when are you leaving for the Academy?" The middle-aged woman was Clara's aunt and Ronin's wife—Sherry.
She has known Clara for a long time and felt the house becoming livelier whenever Clara stayed.
Although it was a surprise that Clara left her old town all of a sudden some days ago, Ronin and Sherry never asked Clara's reasons.
"In four days." Clara's response brought Sherry's focus back on the topic.
Looking at the merry smile Clara wore, Sherry couldn't help muttering, "You look more clear-minded now."
Clara tilted her head adorably as she asked, "Hmm? What do you mean?"
Sherry smiled at her niece, "When you first got accepted as a Professor in the academy, you were not very cheerful. After all, although you like teaching others, you are not very good at socializing."
Clara laughed in embarrassment, "Ahah...you are right about that. I just sometimes make things awkward for those whom I don't know closely."
Sherry chuckled at that as she continued, "However, things are better now, Clara. You now seem more motivated to join the Academy. Is there any particular reason for this positive change?"
Clara's brows elevated as she held the pitcher with both of her hands and looked toward the sky.
Sherry has never seen such a beautiful and radiant smile on her niece's face like the one she had at the moment.
Closing her eyes, Clara thought of the person she met some days ago, before she uttered, "I want to look for someone specific...and getting to know more people might help me find him."
"Hoh~is this the matter of romance?" Sherry sounded more interested now.
"Maybe...I am not sure. However, I want to meet him again someday and talk to him a lot."
"And do you think, the Academy would help you meet your destined one?"
Hearing her aunt's query, Clara flashed a toothy grin, before she exposed one of her secrets,
"Don't worry about that. I will sense his presence when he will be around."

"Demonized?! Are you sure about that?"
"Indeed, I am. I, myself, exorcised Radolf before he could have harmed Kyle."
Although it was Collen who reported it, Edmund couldn't believe his ears.
The butler sent by the central ministry was someone who had joined hands with the Dark side and allowed his humanity to burn in the flame of hell.
Attaining Dark Magic, getting demonized, or helping demons in their ventures are said to be the worst crimes a human could perform. And the punishment for such crimes could be worse than death.
And someone, whose background and family have been assessed by the Capital government...
Edmund has more than one reason to be worried.
"Why hasn't Alatia tell me anything about it?"
Collen sighed, "Your Highness probably would use that chip for future bargaining against Your Majesty."
Edmund wryly smiled at his friend's words.
"You speak as if my sister is a haggler."
Collen made an expression, which explicitly said 'Isn't she one?', but Edmund ignored that for now.
"I am surprised no one from the mansion informed the Capital about it."
Collen remained silent on that. He was not allowed to talk about the Contract Alatia forced on the servants.
Although Edmund was Collen's friend from the knight academy, there were some things that Collen couldn't say or he would be betraying the lady he serves.
'Forgive me, Ed...you have to find out about that contract by yourself.'

It was late in the evening. The dinner time was approaching and currently, Alatia was in her room.
Naturally, she couldn't skip dinner like she mostly prefers to, since her brother was here. Ignoring her usual routine would give him a chance to accuse Kyle. And Alatia didn't want that.
*Knock*
"Can I enter, my lady?"
Hearing Kyle's voice from the other side, Alatia hurriedly unpinned her hair and allowed the blond velvet hair to flow down her shoulders.
"Come in." Walking towards the dresser, she sat on the small and comfortable stool wordlessly.
She waited for a moment or two before Kyle finally approached her.
"Would you mind if I brush your hair?"
Alatia gestures towards the combs before replying, "As you wish."
Kyle took the hairbrush from the dresser shelf before he took hold of a portion of her hair in his hand.
The softness of her hair was quite comfortable to hold. He doesn't apply much force and only holds it enough that her hair doesn't slip off.
"My lady...as you have heard my commitment during my conversation with Your Highness Prince Edmund, I need to show my worth as your butler."
"What about it?" Alatia sounded ignorant.
Kyle inwardly chuckled; enjoying this rare childish side of Alatia.
"That's why, I want your permission to keep on serving you like I used to. Please do not restrict me from entering your room in the morning and also, I request you to have your meals on time from now on."
Alatia raised her brows and crossed her arms under her bountiful bust.
"For my brother, you want to close the gap between us?"
Kyle didn't hide his contentment this time and chuckled slightly. Alatia's shoulder loosened up hearing such a melodious laugh, but she kept a stern front to hear his response.
"My lady...Prince Edmund is an excuse..." Nearing his face to her ear he added, "...I just want to stay close to my Ala."
Whether it was his hot breath that brushed against her cheeks or the room temperature was high, Alatia suddenly felt her face turning burning red.
She hurriedly covered her face with her hair and looked away from him.
"Fufu~my lady is so adorable." Kyle hugged her shoulders and swayed slightly.
"Who do you think, you are embracing?" Although she said that, Alatia sounded far from offended.
"Oh, I thought you wanted me to hug you," Kyle said as he loosened his arms around her.
"Mm..." Alatia whined before she turned herself toward him and timidly opened her arms.
"....don't tease me..." Seeing the adorable red-faced Princess, desperately asking for a hug just melted his heart.
Kyle smiled in contentment before he encircled his arms around her and firmly hugged his mistress.
Seriously, she is the most adorable girl he has ever come across.
