Chapter 75 - Something Special?
Ban was satisfied with the item he got. He stored it inside the Dimensional Storage before taking out the Map that was a little wet due to his sweat earlier.
He folded it into a small square before putting it in his pocket earlier.
Fortunately, the Map was made from the skin of some animal and not from normal paper, or else, Ban guessed that it would have already been unusable by now.
He unfolded and laid the map on the ground to see the route that he should take.
Grandpa Kuys had already marked the easily noticeable locations or landmarks and all he needed to do was spot any of them in every checkpoint that Grandpa Kuys had marked.
It was easy getting here as there was a road, but inside the Tranquil Forest, he needed to rely heavily on the map in order not to get lost.
Fortunately, his gramps had taught him some survival skills before and it included how to read a map carefully. Although he was not the best at it, he thought that it should be fine as long as he knew how to go back.
He positioned the map in the north direction before inspecting closely near the location of Tranquil Forest. The map was big and hence it was detailed compared to the one he bought with 2 Gold Coins yesterday.
"So according to the map, I'm here right now at this location. I see…"
Ban checked it and determined his current location as well as where he should go next. Kuys had already marked his route with a yellow line and there were some gray dots alongside it to mark the landmarks and checkpoints he should be able to encounter along the way.
He folded the map into a small square again before storing it in the pocket of his shirt. He then started running towards the first checkpoint along with Eva.
The area where the Elder Monk Tree was located was near the center or the core area of the Tranquil Forest. He needs to pass by eight landmarks or checkpoints in total if he followed Kuys route strictly.
Some time later, he finally arrived at the first checkpoint. It was a huge rock that had the form of a gaping mouth. It was very noticeable as it was all black like charcoal, in contrast to the green surroundings.
Ban did not waste his time and immediately proceeded to the next checkpoint according to the map.
An hour had passed and he was already at his fourth checkpoint, Ban glanced around him while inspecting the folded map in his hands closely. He was already searching for more than five minutes and he could still not spot the checkpoint or the landmark around here.
According to the map, the landmark for this particular checkpoint was a field full of orange grass. However, he could see nothing of that sort around him as instead of orange, all he could see was a burnt grassland.
However, Ban did not linger in the area any longer as he went towards the next location or checkpoint. This time, he was able to spot it easily so he immediately proceeded to the next location according to the map.
He encountered some Beasts during this time, but he did not go and purposely provoked them. The Beasts of Tranquil Forest also did not attack him for no reason as they continued with what they were doing after giving him a single glance.
His journey can be considered as smooth sailing as he did not encounter any danger and anything odd except for the burnt grasslands on the fourth checkpoint.
It was supposed to be that way. However, at the seventh checkpoint, he encountered something 'special'.
The seventh checkpoint was a small wooden bridge that connected two cliffs together. In order to go to the last checkpoint and then to the location of the Elder Monk Tree, he needs to cross the wooden bridge.
It should not be a problem crossing this bridge if not for the two Beast that was doing something indecent right at the entrance of the bridge.
At first, Ban did not know what to do and he also didn't want to disturb what they were doing.
However, he still has to go to the Adventurers Market in the afternoon to check if Joana manages to obtain a complete spine of a Hairy Boar.
Ban turned and circled around the two busy Beast in a tiptoe as silently as possible. Eva was still sitting atop Ban's shoulder as she coldly and curiously looked at the two busy Beast.
Just when Ban thought that they had already escaped the two Beast radars, he did not expect that the female Beast actually turned its head towards them without warning.
It's eyes went wide like saucers before its body started to shake violently to get away from the male Beast's firm grasp. Feeling the resistance, the male Beast tightened its grasp on the female Beast body as it thrusted it hips more rapidly and vigorously.
Alas, unfortunately for the male, the female Beast was able to slip out of its tight grasp.
The female Beast looked at the male Beast in contempt before it sprinted out of its sight after releasing an annoyed squeak.
The male Beast could only look at the fleeing female Beast in frustration.
SQUEAK!
It released a loud squeak as if to announce its annoyance. There was saliva dripping at the corner of its mouth, while its hips were still thrusting at the ground implying that it was not satisfied by what it had experienced earlier due to the interruption.
'Who would feel satisfied if you got interrupted just before the moment you can release your fluid?' If only the male Beast could talk, it would surely voice out its frustration.
It's reddened eyes could only survey the area before it rested on Ban and Eva's location.
SQUEAK!
Seeing them, it instantly released another ear piercing squeak as if saying that the two of them shall pay for interrupting its fun moment.
