Chapter 226 The Parting Gift
Erian had noticed his master had been acting incredibly weird since his arrival. If he hadn't arrived here on her orders he would have thought he was intruding on her without her knowledge.
That wasn't all, as he had just advanced, his energy waves as well as his dense power radiation wasn't fully under his control yet, revealing his strength as a Twin-cell titan.
Despite noticing the massive amount of nuclear energy contained within his small body which signified his advancement, she still hadn't still said anything about it.
It was as though she hadn't noticed it or more like she had chosen to ignore it.
Regardless, with his advancement, he had exploded crazily in strength. Even more terrifying was his senses.
Erian's five senses had soared to an extremely insane state. His sense which was already ten times higher than that of normal first-year Titan received an even more terrifying boost!
Given all of this, he could now see through his master, albeit barely. But he was puzzled by the micro-expression of relief on her face, which was even weirder.
Wasn't he just going to some Tea party with the other two academy branches?
As a new member of the Supernal class, Erian originally lacked the qualifications to participate in the Three-clan tea party with the other Supernals however, Erian is the disciple of a Grand Envoy, he was made an exception even as he was a newly promoted Supernal.
Noticing the weird behaviour of his master, Erian really didn't feel like going anymore. If his life was definitely at risk going, why take the risk?
There was also the fact that, the last time he was here, his master mentioned that he had caused her some sort of trouble by revealing the Lightning-eye heritage.
Hence, she had forcefully sent him out using an unknown technique Erian couldn't make sense of after a while and now, she was acting as though nothing had happened and even seen to be giving him a gift?
Something was definitely off about this!
"That is a 4th-gen Shock-absorber."
Listening to the lazy voices of his master - thew war-goddess, Erian's face changed slightly.
"A Genesys level tech?" His breathing immediately hurried. This was a tech that could block an attack from a Genesys level Titan. Moreover, it looked like an High-grade one which means was long as one could recharge it, he could use it as many times as possible.
Staring at the small tiny object in his palm, Erian didn't feel calm and relaxed. He felt extremely nervous! This was the height of it!
If she had just not asked, then it Erian wouldn't be as worried as he was but she gave him a protection that could block against a titan that had merge three-super cells together to form it's own cell - it's destructiveness rivalling that of a missile, to him. Who was he not to bee worried.
Their master-disciple definitely wasn't that close.
Erian's eyes shook slightly but he managed to calm himself down.
"If the trip to the Five-year Three War-branch academy tea party this dangerous, why not send extra instructor to protect us?"
Seraph's eye glasses dropped down slightly off her eyes as she glanced tiredly at him. "Who said the other students are in danger?"
Erian was stunned ones again. But before he was able to say another word, Seraph yawned. "I can only protect you in here, what happens to you outside isn't any of my business."
Waving her delicate hands, she shooed him.
"Alright, hurry up and leave. The others are waiting. You have just one hour to prepare. You can also decide to go alone, that's fine by me."
Erian wanted to say something but he then stopped himself and inhaled deeply. After giving his salute he left her office.

The sun was starting to shine really bright, piercing through the veil of the clouds, cascading their beauty to the earth.
Erian stood at the entrance of his apartment, the ray from the sun giving him an otherworldly look as hiss handsome appearance came into view.
Ever since his evolution, his skin had been getting even smoother and smoother everyday. One could barely see the calluses that once covered his palms and the dark color of his skin due to working at the Serum Waste-center.
To some people, it had been a long time but it actually hadn't been a year since he left Burning Steel village.
Then…
Erian shook his head ands refused to think of the past as though he was about to die. From his master's expression he might not make it back and she also couldn't protect him this time.
"Master obviously wouldn't let me go out of she thought there was no shot at surviving. Which means my enemies are either Triple - cell Titans or even lower. So, there is a chance."
"It is absolutely impossible for me to survive an attack from a Genesys titan which means although there is the possibility that they might attack, they will somehow only be allowed to attack once."
"In addition, I might actually be wrong about the own thing and master is really just sending me to death."
Suddenly, he let out a chuckle till he laughed. "What am I worried about? If she is calculating based on me being an ordinary person, then my rate of surviving is slim but, with strength to leap across stages and the system helping, my odds of surviving should increase."
"First, I have to make some preparations." Erian entered his apartment. Ignoring the greetings from Blenda and Barton, he hurried towards his room.
A few minutes later, a few boxes of packages arrived for him.
Erian dragged them all to his room. His eyes gleaming as he went all out. With the Ultimate-Transmutation of the system, he could enhance his Nuclear weapons an also his protections.
Roughly 40 minutes later, Erian came out o his room in a rush. Although he was now broke, losing ghee entire fortune he had amassed during the Test, his eyes gleamed brightly.
Giving a few instructions to his maid and servant, he immediately exited his building. A vehicle was already parked outside his the building. It was the public transport he had called in before hand.
"Erian?" The driver called out.
"Yeah." Erian replied, climbing on to the car.
In no time, they flew off.
