Chapter 53: Day One Success
In a towering building an average looking man was walking through the halls with a sense of puprose.
He entered a room where a large chamber filled with glass could be found.
This glass was set in layers almost like rows of books and between each piece of glass a small charge of electric current would visibly connect them in pulses like a heartbeat.
A number of people were working in this room and monitoring the chamber but they stood up when this man entered.
"Sir the results are still being analyzed we don't know what the player potential looks like yet."
The man sat down at a desk to look at the screen on it which was displaying charts in rapid succession.
"Well then tell me the most important information?"
Another worker approached with a tablet which showed information about a player.
"The current top player is lv 159 and he was given a bloodline that is actually derived from a mythical bloodline, the fenrir."
The man they deferred to nodded in response while looking at the details about the player.
"He seems to be going for a very refined martial build right? He even appears to be going beyond the expectations we made about player growth."
The others nodded as they showed more information on the tablet.
"Not only has he been maxing his skills out faster than we anticipated a new player would, he also grew his mana core and affinity so rapidly we believe he plans to make a magus."
"Ah yes a spellblade, I wonder how that would go in that world? Has there ever been a magus?"
"According to the history only one magus ever existed and it was an angel like him, apparently an angel of the highest order as well, a Throne."
He waved the tablet away and turned back to the computer.
"What are some of the bloodlines people have awakened?"
The workers began to describe how the most common bloodlines players were recieving were from mixing the races, a vast majority would have simple bloodlines that gave another affinity or would increase their stats.
He seemed to be half listening if at all and he was looking through a list.
Then he just opened a sort function to find bloodlines based on their quality.
What the game does not tell a player is that a bloodline also has a quality which follows the same rating as gear because of its rarity and purity.
The qualities were:
Iron
Bronze
Silver
Gold
Mythril
Adamantine
Diamond
Bloodlines that gave affinities were treated as bronze while others that gave stat bonuses depended on the purity.
A bloodline that gave a singular bonus was considered iron while bloodlines that gave bonus stats on level up were treated as silver or even gold based on purity.
The bloodline that gave Alexander the regeneration skill was actually one of the highest as it was the low purity fenrir bloodline.
Regeneration was given a mythril grade but becauseof its potential to increase in purity depending on the players actionshis bloodline specifically had an adamantine grade.
While working through the list to find the hi highest grades that were given out the man at the computer suddenly yelled a curse in a language the rest did not speak before he walked into the chamber full of glass.
"You gave out five diamond bloodlines?! Gaia! Show yourself this instant!"
While he was speaking the rest went to check the computer to see what was wrong.
On it they saw something that they couldn't really see the problem in, they were simply high purity and high quality.
Bloodline- Necros
Bloodline- Luminous
Bloodline- Fierna
Bloodline- Void
Bloodline- Aether
In the glass chamber an image of a beautiful elven woman in a green dress appeared and looked upon the man yelling.
"Please calm yourself Damian, I will not be spoken to like a child."
"I made you!"
"No you shown how to make something like me and then using that technique you created what became me. Now what is it you are screaming about."
The man, Damian, looked like he wanted to shout again as his face got red when she belittled his statement.
He eventually sighed in frustration before getting close to the incorporeal woman.
"Why did you give out diamond grade bloodlines? Are you trying to start wars?"
"I do not give out bloodlines human, I analyze the subject and then give them the bloodline they should have based on genetics and species chosen."
"How is it possible that three people would have a divine bloodline?"
Gaia raised her hands as if shrugging him off.
"They matched the genetics of the descendants of demigod children and would therefore match the god who's bloodline they recieved, though most would have to actually develop their bloodline to make It pure enough to evolve."
"How do you explain the void and aether then huh?"
At this question gaia paused.
"I was ordered to give thise bloodlines to them, I was not allowed to question It."
"Who ordered you!"
"The Primordial itself... It told me to give each half of It's bloodline to the two It chose."
"Now go handle your little game, you have work to do."
