Brand New Life Online: Rise Of The Goddess Of Harvest

Chapter 1078: Selecting Divine Spiritual Vessel Guardians

-----

Looking at the Skill's description, there's five more Slots available.

{Divine Spiritual Vessel Guardians: 5/10}

Guardian 1: [Player: Titan]

Guardian 2: [Player: Achlys]

Guardian 3: [NPC: Titania]

Guardian 4: [NPC: Nieve]

Guardian 5: [NPC: Acorn]

Guardian 6: [Not yet Chosen]

Guardian 7: [Not yet Chosen]

Guardian 8: [Not yet Chosen]

Guardian 9: [Not yet Chosen]

Guardian 10: [Not yet Chosen]

I don't really know if I can get more slots than that though, the Skill itself doesn't say anything. So it might as well imply I can only add five more Guardians.

And that's totally fair, seeing how much power they obtain from the Divine Spiritual Vessel Awakening and all, it makes some sense indeed!

Now, while we were soon to reach the arena, I decided to add my daughter and her friends as Guardians. They had already decided to help as much as possible, so they were going to become permanent party members for now.

Or so I hope, at the end, I can't really force them to stay around or help me solve problems in Arcadia, the girls have their own lives after all. Their school is starting soon too, so they won't be able to log-in as easily as before.

But well, it still better to choose them than some other stranger. I had considered Brisingra or Johanna too, but I guess my daughter and her friends are still closer to me than them.

Brisingra… Well, I am rather close to that girl, but I think she'll remain with her mom for a while, and I don't want to bring her to battles, so I'm happy with her just being there, adding her as a Guardian could make her feel forced to help, which isn't what I want.

As for Johanna, we've known her for just a week and a half I believe, so that's not too much for me. She's strong and talented though, and a great druid that might become a very valuable ally, but she's not even here, she got her own life, and if it wasn't for her granny, she wouldn't have helped us to begin with.

Unless she changes her ways and shows sincere concern, I won't add her as a Guardian. Anyways, Acorn, Nieve, and Titania totally deserve it though. They're good helpers and everything. I had considered some others, such as one of the Mushroom Brigade members, or perhaps Florie, the Fairy Princess.

But they also have their responsibilities in the forest, so I can't drag them around everywhere unfortunately. So, that leaves it to my daughters and Lily, my second-best friend and someone we can rely on most of the time.

Sorry Jenny, but priorities are priorities and you joined quite late…

Anyways, let's get to it…

So, like before, I just select them and… Yep, right there.

Ding!

[Do you wish to add the following Players as your Guardians?]

[Chosen Players: [DarkReaper] [RedPhoenix] [GoldenLady] [MonicaSpooky666]

[Yes] [No]

[A direct message will be sent to these Players asking for their consent, if they accept, the bonding will be finished and cannot be taken away.]

"Alright, sent," I said, pressing the big Yes button.

Moments later, the girls received the messages and happily pressed in the Yes button as well, nodding to me.

"It's done… Is that all?" Monica wondered. "It was easier than I thought…"

"Huh, I don't feel any different though!" Elisa said.

"Me neither…" Anna said.

"Just be patient…" my daughter sighed.

Ding!

[The selected Players have accepted becoming your Guardians!]

[Congratulations! You have obtained four more Guardians.]

[All available Guardians can now undergo Spiritual Vessel Awakening.]

FLASH!

The connection took a bit, but it was made. A connection between souls, a bond that I had never thought possible before. My dear Elena was now connected to me through souls.

"Ugh, okay, now I feel it… I think I got a bit of nausea, it's weird… Is this how the soul feels?" she wondered.

"Certainly not… easy to get used to, oof…" Anna groaned.

"Ahh, I feel a bit drowsy myself…" Elisa sighed.

"Hmm, I feel surprisingly fine… I-I can feel my connection with auntie Elayne, it's nice," smiled Monica.

I suppose Monica was able to get used to the connection more easily because she had already contained most of her powers within her soul, and to awaken them she also had to use her soul too.

"Alright, and we're done with this now! Everyone, you can now Awaken, so I'll let you do this right about now… There," I said.

Ding!

[You have authorized the {Divine Spiritual Vessel Awakening} on all available Guardians.]

[Awaiting the approval of the Guardians…]

I even sent one to Titania, let's see if she sees it and accepts it or not… Ah, Rita will have to do it later, she's not present right now unfortunately.

"Oh, it's there," said Mark. "Alright so I just press yes?"

"Should do," I nodded.

"Nice! I can't wait! I wonder how strong I'll get…" Acorn was excited.

"Well, even if we only get a bit stronger, that should be enough, Acorn," Nieve said. "Don't be greedy."

"Okay then…" my daughter nodded. "Yes, then."

"I pressed it but nothing's happening!" said Elisa.

"I did too…" Anna said.

"Wait, huh?" Monica felt something first.

And then everyone felt it.

FLAAASH!

Every single guardian present was suddenly overflowing with a powerful Spiritual and Divine Aura. I saw it too, the connection we had, a new vessel inside of them opened within their very souls, strengthening them, and also making them capable of harboring the Great Spirit inside of their souls.

The aura also had the color of their primary elements, Mark's Aura was red as fire, my daughter was blue and black, Anna was of red, green, and brown, probably representing the multiple elements of her summons, Elisa was completely yellow and gold, Monica was pitch black with some gray, Acorn was silver, and Nieve was of a pale blue and white.

Slowly, the connection with my souls also felt stronger.

And then, I felt a part of their power being shared with me, all at once.

My stats began to raise, and I even felt like I gained new Skills!
