Chapter 44: 44 : Banquet_1
During the two days he had away from running the restaurant and cultivating, Felix was also busy preparing for the banquet.
He wanted everything to go smoothly and didn't want any mishaps to ruin the event. The banquet was a big opportunity for the restaurant to really take off, but it also came with risks.
Felix knew he had to be careful, especially since only the young masters and misses from upper class and noble families would be attending.
Some of them could be pretty arrogant and difficult to please, so Felix had to make sure everything was perfect.
He had been thinking about all the possible scenarios and knew that even though they might give some face to Seraphine Netherfrost, they could still cause trouble behind the scenes if he make some of them unhappy or indirectly offend one of them.
Felix had the system protection, but he wasn't sure how reliable it was.
So he made sure to make all the necessary arrangements for the banquet, including creating a new menu with high-class recipes from Earth and buying expensive wine from the system store.
Honestly, Felix really despises this feeling. He has to ensure that everything runs smoothly for the banquet, or else he will face a lot of trouble.
He has to make sure that the arrogant Young Masters and Misses are pleased, which he really hates.
But that's just how the world works - those with strength can do whatever they want, while the weak have to try to please the strong. Unfortunately, Felix is currently one of the weak ones.
He has to make sure that the arrogant Young Masters and Misses are pleased and not offend them.
Otherwise, with their arrogance and narrow-mindedness, he will only bring doom upon himself and others.
As the days passed quickly, the third day arrived before he knew it - the day of the banquet.
Felix woke up early and headed to the restaurant to make sure everything was in order.
Even though the banquet wasn't until the evening, he wanted to be prepared and besides he had been working hard for the past two days to ensure everything went smoothly.
-----------------------
"Boss, everything has been completed according to your requirements," a female employee stood in front of Felix and reported.
"Are you sure? I hope everything goes well without any mishaps. You know we can't afford to mess up Seraphine Netherfrost's banquet," Felix narrowed his eyes.
"Yes, Boss, I'm sure everything is completely done. I've even checked out the banquet hall three times already, and everything is in order," the female employee said confidently.
"That's good," Felix nodded. Currently, he is in his office on the fourth floor, and the female employee standing in front of him is one of the employees he selected to help in the preparation of the banquet.
"Okay, you can go back. The banquet will start in a few hours, so make sure nothing goes wrong, okay?" Felix instructed.
"Understood, Boss," the female employee nodded.
"Make sure to be very respectful to the guests when they arrive, and reserve two of the wooden elevators just for those attending the banquet," Felix instructed.
"Got it, boss," the female employee nodded with a serious expression.
"Also, make sure that Chef Gideon is ready. Tell him to prepare himself," Felix added.
The female employee nodded and walked out of the office, leaving Felix alone with a thoughtful look on his face.
The banquet will start in a few hours. He wasn't really nervous at all. He has seen and attended much more magnificent events back on Earth, so he wasn't that worried.
But this banquet is a huge opportunity that cannot be missed.
It can be said that with this banquet, the restaurant can become the number one high-class restaurant in Bridgemoor City, surpassing other restaurants that have been around for who knows how many years, if everything goes well.
The people attending this banquet are no ordinary people. They are the Young Masters and Misses of the top Noble Families in Bridgemoor City.
Some of them are geniuses in the City and in their respective families, already becoming Mana Cultivators whose strength is much greater than Felix's.
The resources and strength these people control are not something Felix can currently compare to.
These people don't lack money at all - it's the least of their worries. What really matters to them is their reputation and power. They care way too much about how they appear to others.
If Felix can pull off a successful banquet without any major issues and impress these Young Masters and Misses, he won't have to stress about attracting high-quality customers anymore.
Some of these young elites don't have any talent for Mana Cultivation, so they spend their days either partying or getting ready to party.
They're like the spoiled kids of their families, always trying to outdo each other in spending money. It's their favorite pastime.
With how grand and beautiful decorated the Origin Restaurant is, and couple the high class and exquisite dishes which are top-notch. Felix believes that these young masters are completely hooked.
And Seraphine Netherfrost's upcoming banquet is the perfect chance to bring together young nobles and the second generation silkpants of Bridgemoor City.
Felix is focusing on the high-end consumer market in Bridgemoor City, specifically targeting those second generation silkpants who only know how to spend money.
Those young geniuses weren't his target, these geniuses have something better to do than go out and enjoy themselves they always busy Cultivating and increasing their strength.
But those useless and pieces of trash second generation silkpants are his true target. How can those useless silkpants not want to show off and brag about how much they have spend in the Origin Restaurant in one meal.
As Felix thought about the upcoming banquet, a wide grin spread across his face. He was really looking forward to it.
This event would also give him the opportunity to learn more about the various divisions of power in Bridgemoor City and see just how powerful the Young Nobles of the city really were.
Felix's eyes sparkled with excitement and anticipation.
--------------------------
Time flew by, and before he knew it, the sun had begun to set in the Western horizon, painting the sky with a beautiful orange hue.
The streets of Audaz District were illuminated, and the lights of the Origin Restaurant added to the grandeur of the evening.
As darkness fell, the three huge moons appeared in the night sky, casting a magical glow over the city.
At the Origin Restaurant, the lights shone brightly, making the venue even more luxurious.
Lavish carriages pulled by huge Magical Beasts pulled up in front of the restaurant, and elegantly dressed young men and women stepped out.
Some wore gentle smiles but their eyes were sharp, while others had cold or calculating gazes. Some exuded an air of nobility and intense aura that made the atmosphere heavy with their presence.
Overall, the guests arriving at the banquet displayed a wide range of temperaments and personalities, each one adding to the air of nobility that surrounded them.
As time passed, more and more luxurious carriages pulled by Magical Beasts arrived at the restaurant.
ROAR!!
Just then, a huge and powerful roar filled the air as a massive tiger-shaped Magical Beast pulled a carriage three times larger than the carriages and stopped infront of the restaurant.
The tiger-shapedMagical Beast was also much larger than the rest, emitting an intense aura that made the other Magical Beasts not to dare make eye contact with it. Some of the magical beasts even whimpered with fear in their eyes.
This particular Magical Beast was a Tier 3 Abyss Tiger,it was completely black with red stripes and faint black flames on its paws.
The aura it exuded was truly intense. As the carriage came to a stop, a valet quickly stepped and opened the door and a young man in his twenties emerged.
He was dressed in all black, with slightly long, wild black hair and a burly, tall stature. His face was ordinary, but his eyes were pure black, giving off a dark and cold aura.
As the young man stepped out of the carriage, a slight disturbance rippled through the crowd.
People whispered among themselves, their eyes filled with fear and admiration as they looked at him.
" Isn't that Gunther Wverynspear from the Wverynspear Clan? I wonder what he's doing here."
" What do you mean?" Of course Isn't he here to attend Seraphine Netherfrost banquet ".
"Yeah, you're right. I almost forgot about that. Last I heard, he and his adventurer team were raiding a silver-ranked dungeon and it seems they conquered it."
"Wow, that's amazing. I didn't expect him to be so powerful. He was just a Tier 4 High Level Knight last time I checked."
"Between him and Seraphine Netherfrost, who do you think is more powerful?"
"I don't know..."
ROAR! ROAR! ROAR!
Just as the crowd continued to whisper and discuss among themselves, three powerful roars sounded. Three magical beasts pulling large carriages pulled up in front of the restaurant.
The crowd quickly turned to the newcomers, their expressions showing fear and admiration.
Even Gunther Wverynspear turned and gazed at the newcomers, his eyes cold.
