Chapter 88
Chapter 88: Chapter 88.
“Do you want some coffee?”
When Jihoon opened his eyes, he wasn’t sure if it was the weekend. His head ached a little, but unlike other times, he felt relieved that he didn’t blackout. It meant that he didn’t take the drugs like he sometimes did automatically before going to bed.
Then suddenly, he realized that he wasn’t home. He sat up and studied the room. The window was covered with black curtains and the bedroom was small; the double bed filled the room. The pillow and the blanket were grey.
The man sitting in front of him was in his pajamas. His legs were crossed, and his ankles were visible. When Jihoon stared at them, Siwoo blushed.
“Stop staring.”
“You lost your voice.”
“And you must know better than anyone why.”
Finally, Siwoo was his. Ruffling Siwoo’s light brown hair, Jihoon sat next to him. This was the first time in his life.
The first time ever when someone entered his heart.
Jihoon felt a bit strange, so when he turned away, Siwoo pushed his face with his hand and muttered, “You were so crazy.”
“What do you mean?”
“... Just crazy.”
“... I wish you noticed earlier.”
When Jihoon caressed Siwoo’s ribs, Siwoo moved away a little. His movement reminded Jihoon of a cat. After sleeping together, Jihoon expected Siwoo to act warmer, but it seemed that there still was a long way to go. When Jihoon frowned, Siwoo handed him the cup again and asked, “Are you going to drink it or not?”
“I don’t drink coffee.”
“What?”
“I don’t think I ever drank coffee in front of you.”
Siwoo looked so sharp, yet he was rather slow when it came to noticing his surroundings. He was a detailed and delicate person, but he sometimes acted rough and callous.
Siwoo drank from the cup slowly and looked away. He seemed a bit apologetic.
Jihoon changed the subject. “What time do you have to get to work?”
“10 AM.”
“Hmm... How amazing it must be to have such flexible work hours.”
“I deserve it since I am a true talent.”
When Siwoo frowned a little, Jihoon’s heart did a summersault. Siwoo threw him a cold bottle of water, which showed that Siwoo wasn’t completely uncaring. Last night when Jihoon kissed his neck, Siwoo cringed a little while at the same time, he got closer to Jihoon. It was contrary behaviour and Jihoon loved it.
Jihoon offered, “I will drive you to work.”
“Don’t you have to get to work too?”
“I can just take the morning off.”
“I’m surprised your company is doing fine when it has someone like you as their employee...!”
Suddenly, Jihoon leaned forward and bit Siwoo’s lips. Jihoon stared directly into Siwoo’s eyes as he continued to kiss him. When he ground his lower body against Siwoo’s, Siwoo didn’t resist. Jihoon put his hand inside Siwoo’s pants and found wetness. Jihoon pulled back a little and smiled.
“Are you not wearing any underwear?”
“... Dammit.”
Siwoo covered his face with his hands again. Long slim fingers... They made Jihoon breathless. He didn’t know when it happened, but Jihoon was infatuated with Siwoo now.
Jihoon always thought his type was someone cold, but he recently realized that he was wrong. Siwoo could be cold, but he could also be scorching. Siwoo could be sharp, yet also be oblivious. Jihoon was obsessed with this complicated yet adorable man.
Jihoon murmured, “I want to do it again.”
“... You have lost your mind.”
“Can’t you go to work a little late today?”
Jihoon raised one of his eyebrows. He knew how to seduce a person. All of his tricks didn’t work at the beginning of their relationship, but Jihoon knew they would now.
Jihoon stroked Siwoo’s thigh and lightly scratched his ankle, making Siwoo lean back in pleasure. Siwoo was tall but he was very slim, almost fragile. When Jihoon tried to get on top of him, Siwoo blushed in excitement. Jihoon found him so adorable. He tried to take Siwoo’s top off, but Siwoo stopped him with his hands.
“Stop it.”
“I don’t want to.”
“You are such a sneaky man.”
Siwoo’s lips looked so pink and pouty, and Jihoon realized that if they did make love, he would probably have to miss work altogether today. Jihoon also felt a bit hungry, and he knew he slept very well even though he didn’t drink or take drugs last night. There was no doubt there was something different about Siwoo that made Jihoon feel normal. He smiled, pleased at himself for finding someone like Siwoo.
Suddenly, Siwoo saw the smile and asked, “You...”
“What?”
Siwoo sighed and asked, “You think you are so hot, don’t you?”
“No.”
“You are lying.”
“No, but I can see that YOU think I’m hot.”
Jihoon raised his eyebrow again and smiled, making Siwoo frown. Secretly, Siwoo wondered what Jihoon looked like when he was a child. Jihoon now looked mischievous yet sad at the same time, and Siwoo thought Jihoon probably had a very different personality when he was younger.
Siwoo muttered, “You are so annoying.”
“Hey, do you like wine?”
Jihoon finally sat up. If he didn’t get up now, he knew he would end up wasting the whole day. The truth was, Jihoon had many important meetings today, so he couldn’t skip work. But of course, if Siwoo was involved...
Siwoo replied, “Why?”
“Woojin Choi introduced me to a restaurant, and the food was pretty good.”
“...”
“Let’s go out to dinner tonight.”
Siwoo looked at Jihoon with an odd expression. Sometimes, Siwoo looked like a little boy. When Jihoon smiled, Siwoo traced Jihoon’s lips with his finger. Jihoon felt a sudden urge to kiss Siwoo again, so when he leaned forward, Siwoo frowned, “You are a total player.”
“Why do you think that?”
“Asking someone out to a dinner date after sex is against the rules.”
“I don’t care about things like that. These invisible rules and codes.”
“I do. I need to be calculating because if I don’t, I always end up losing this game.”
Siwoo was definitely a very defensive, almost skittish type, but inside, he was a warm and loving person. Jihoon loved that about him. Because Siwoo looked a little sad, Jihoon pulled him closer and said to him, “Date me. I want us to be exclusive.”
“...What?”
When Siwoo looked at him with wide eyes, Jihoon acted casually. He began to walk towards the bathroom. Siwoo’s house was just like its owner. It was clean and neat, with a little bit of flair. But it did feel like it was left empty a lot of the time. Jihoon suspected Siwoo rarely, if ever, let people into his house. He felt that Siwoo probably liked to have his private space even when he had a long-term partner. Siwoo looked so beautiful and most likely very popular, but for some reason, he made Jihoon feel a little sympathetic.
Popular but still lonely... Jihoon thought that Siwoo probably craved warmth because he gave all of himself away to others in his past.
Jihoon said to him, “... Maybe I should have asked this earlier?”
“...”
“I will feel hurt if you say no right now, so answer me later. Think about it for a while.”
“... Jihoon Kang.”
“Don’t give me some bullsh*t about ‘It’s me, not you.’ I don’t plan on our relationship to be just a fling.”
Jihoon’s voice trembled just a little as he continued, “And for your information, I have never asked anyone to be exclusive before.”
“And you expect me to believe that?”
“Then ask Woojin Choi.”
“...”
“Or just say yes.”
When Jihoon looked at him intensely, Siwoo blushed and looked away. Jihoon loved it and thought that maybe he could finally be happy.
