Crazy Martial Arts Sovereign

Chapter 32

C32 – Kill All the Traitors and All the Members of the Nether Clan!

Undoubtedly, Qiao Mao’s punch had left everyone in awe. Even the stranger from the Main Family couldn’t hide his astonishment as he looked on.

“Mao, that was impressive!” Qiao Shen exclaimed with joy. Despite being overpowered, the sight before him ignited a spark of exhilaration within.

In recent times, Qiao Shen had suffered from a severe poisoning. His daughter, Qiao Shuang, was held captive to be used as leverage, while his sister-in-law and nephew were left to fend for themselves. His heart was heavy with rage and a sense of injustice.

Now, the prospect of revenge had Qiao Shen’s blood pumping with fervor. Even though he was outmatched by the stranger from the Main Family, he relentlessly launched attacks, determined to take him down.

Qiao Hou was gravely wounded, standing in a corner, his complexion ashen. He had believed that tonight would mark Qiao Shen’s demise and that he would secure the key. Once he entered the Ancestral Land and acquired the Celestial Demon Yin Technique, his significant achievement would ensure a bright future within the clan.

But Qiao Mao’s intervention had shattered all his plans. Qiao Hou glared at Qiao Mao with venomous intent, ready to strike him down at any moment.

After ingesting the Spirit Explosion Pill, Qiao Mao’s level soared to Mortality Transcending Level Six Heaven. He felt a surge of power coursing through him, his excitement palpable.

“Strength!” Qiao Mao silently affirmed. Only with formidable power could he safeguard his loved ones and eradicate every traitor and member of the Nether Clan!

In that instant, Qiao Mao felt an overwhelming desire to ascend to the World Peak.

His body unleashed an explosive wave of Spiritual Energy. His eyes turned a fierce red as he swiftly dispatched another Martial Dao Great Master.

In Martial Sun City, Martial Dao Great Masters were held in high esteem. Yet, Qiao Mao had effortlessly eliminated two in quick succession, as if they were mere ants beneath his feet.

The two remaining adversaries were now at a disadvantage, their eyes wide with terror. Despite their efforts, they hadn’t managed to lay a finger on Qiao Mao.

Suddenly, guards began to converge on the scene. Each one was at least at Mortality Transcending Level Five Heaven, representing the cream of the crop among Martial Sun City’s elite. They encircled Qiao Mao, ready for confrontation.

The number of guards swelled; it seemed as though the entire force had been mobilized. But against Qiao Mao, they were as vulnerable as paper, easily torn apart.

Qiao Mao left a trail of blood in his wake. He had felt the rush of slaying foes and traitors before, during a battle in the Celestial Ancient Burial Land in his past life.

On the outskirts of Qiao Shen’s Mansion, Zhang Yu and two Zhang family elders lay in ambush. As Zhang Yu watched all the Qiao family warriors flood into the mansion, he was taken aback and exclaimed, “Why are so many warriors pouring in? Who has infiltrated the Qiao family’s mansion?”

Zhang Yu was intimately familiar with the defenses of Qiao Shen’s Mansion. He knew they included four Martial Dao Great Masters and two Mortality Transcending Level Eight Heaven experts. No one in Martial Sun City could penetrate such security.

“Could it be the person supporting Qiao Mao who has taken action?” wondered an elder of the Zhang family.

Zhang Yu shook his head, “That’s not possible. Even though he has been nurturing Qiao Mao from the shadows, he never gets involved in Qiao family affairs.”

“We must protect Qiao Shen at all costs before Qiao Mao returns. I cannot fail my benefactor,” Zhang Yu commanded. He then led his men in a charge into the Qiao family estate, ready to strike down any Qiao family warriors they encountered.

Zhang Yu’s interactions with Qiao Mao had been limited, but his gratitude ran deep. Without Qiao Mao, he would still be confined to a wheelchair, unable to stand unless he reached an exceedingly high level of cultivation.

Meanwhile, Zhen Gui was panic-stricken in a secluded part of the Qiao family residence. She had been on watch for three days without a glimpse of Qiao Mao. She was determined to storm in and rescue Qiao Shen and Qiao Shuang if Qiao Mao didn’t return soon.

The poison had seeped deep into Qiao Shen’s organs, and without the Blood Lotus Pill, recovery was impossible. And Qiao Shuang was just a child; Zhen Gui couldn’t bear the thought of the child being harmed.

“It has to be Mao inside,” Zhen Gui thought frantically. Casting aside all other concerns, she burst into the mansion, unleashing a deadly onslaught.

Qiao Mao suddenly sensed something amiss behind him. Whirling around, he spotted an unfamiliar man from the Main Family launching an attack amidst the chaos.

“Qiao Mao, watch out!” Qiao Shen called out urgently, attempting to dash forward and block the man’s assault. However, a throng of martial artists quickly surrounded him, thwarting his efforts to rescue Qiao Mao.

The remaining two Martial Dao Great Masters, both at the Mortality Transcending Level Seven Heaven, joined the group hemming in Qiao Shen. They were all determined to stop him at any cost.

They believed that if the stranger at the Mortality Transcending Level Eight Heaven could eliminate Qiao Mao, the rest of their plans could proceed unhindered. Consequently, they all concentrated their efforts on taking down Qiao Mao.

Qiao Hou, who had been standing to the side, now moved in on Qiao Mao under the orders of the unfamiliar man.

Despite his severe injuries, Qiao Hou’s cultivation had reached Mortality Transcending Level Eight Heaven. Unleashing his full strength in battle, his power was formidable. Yet, the true menace still emanated from the unfamiliar man.

Witnessing two Mortality Transcending Level Eight Heaven experts besieging Qiao Mao, Qiao Shen grew increasingly desperate. He fought fiercely to escape the martial artists encircling him but to no avail. He had to be cautious; any misstep could result in Qiao Shuang, cradled in his arms, getting hurt. To protect her from harm, he faced severe limitations in his movements. Despite several attempts, he couldn’t break free from the blockade.

“I’m going to kill you,” Qiao Hou bellowed, his intent to slay Qiao Mao clear.

Unruffled, Qiao Mao’s expression remained serene. Without hesitation, he drew the Profound Iron Bow and unleashed the Army Breaking Archery technique, firing three arrows in rapid succession at the unfamiliar man.

The arrows sliced through the air with a piercing clarity, their speed astonishing. Glinting with a chilling light, the three Spiritual Energy Arrows sent the unfamiliar man’s face ashen with fear.

“How do you know the Army Breaking Archery?” the man demanded, his voice booming as he narrowly evaded the incoming arrows.

The Army Breaking Archery skill, while only a Yellow Rank Middle Grade martial arts technique, boasted a power at its Great Completion stage that far surpassed that of the Yellow Rank High Grade. Its lethality was formidable. Moreover, the birthplace of the Army Breaking Archery was none other than Arrow God Ke Shan, a location not only renowned within the Fire Crow Imperial Capital but also a closely guarded secret of the royal family.

“Since you recognize this as the Army Breaking Archery, you should be aware of its formidable power,” Qiao Mao said with a cold laugh, continuing to employ the technique. After firing two consecutive arrows, he had managed to force the stranger to retreat. The man had no choice but to launch an attack on Qiao Hou.

Qiao Hou was right in the line of fire. Qiao Mao, with the Wind Thunder Palm already primed in his left hand, struck Qiao Hou with full force. The raging Thunder Power within the Wind Thunder Palm exploded in an instant. The move was so powerful that it shook the very earth, and Qiao Hou was killed outright by Qiao Mao.

The stranger’s brow furrowed upon witnessing Qiao Hou’s death. He was well aware of Qiao Mao’s formidable combat abilities and knew that for Qiao Mao, killing a Martial Dao Great Master was a trivial task. Yet, he hadn’t anticipated that Qiao Mao would actually go through with killing Qiao Hou.

“To think that Martial Sun City harbors a Qilin Son like you. You’re bound to become a mortal enemy to many in the future. It seems I must eliminate you,” the stranger said, his expression regaining its calm as surges of black fog began to emanate from him. Within the fog, a ghostly face appeared.

“This is the essence of the Nether Clan,” Qiao Mao realized, his mind thundering with shock.
