Chapter 1431 Light Hall Trade City
Chapter 1431 Light Hall Trade City
Shaking off all of his worries after not seeing any significant movements from the Blue Sea Empire to try and forcefully investigate the strength of the Star Shattering Sect, Xuan Hao focused his attention back on researching the teleportation formations that he was planning to set up throughout the Shattered Star Peaks before moving on to setting up teleportation formations in some of the more important locations of the sect.
Among these locations, the most important ones being the Iron Sky Kingdom and the border that the demonic cultivators were trying to invade the sect's territory from.
The border was a given, while a teleportation formation connecting the Shattered Star Peaks with the Iron Sky Kingdom would make it simple for Yi Min to move back and forth between the sect and her kingdom. Giving her an opportunity to stay and cultivate inside of the sect without needing someone like the rabbit demon beast to watch over her kingdom while she was gone. n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om
Although this would end up affecting the rabbit demon beast who had slowly started building its own influence inside the Iron Sky Kingdom during its time there, Xuan Hao couldn't care less about the influence built up by the rabbit demon beast.
Instead of that, he would be much happier if the rabbit demon beast spent its time cultivating more seriously instead of doing something useless like recruiting anyone willing to follow its command no matter what their cultivation realm or overall usefulness…
Smiling a bit wryly to himself at the thought of the countless servants that he had seen following the rabbit demon beast through his divine sense, Xuan Hao could not help wandering how Yi Min would react when she got back to her kingdom in the future and realized that all of her servants were now following the rabbit demon beast.
No, that little rabbit should be able to solve that situation by itself. No need to involve myself. In the worst-case scenario, Yi Min will punish those servants for betraying her and siding with the rabbit.
Throwing the matter to the back of his mind after deciding that it was something that the rabbit demon beast could deal with by itself, Xuan Hao focused his attention back on developing a blueprint for the first implementation of the teleportation formations of the sect.
At the same time, he also dedicated part of his attention to deepening his comprehension of the Dao of Space.
After all, he currently comprehended 5 different Daos to the Large Success Realm, one of them being the Dao of Space… And for him to have any chance of reaching the Peak of the Dao Domain Lord Realm in the future, he would have to comprehend three Daos to the Perfection Realm and six to the Large Success Realm.
At the moment, he still needed to promote three of his Daos to the Large Success Realm, which in turn would require him to comprehend another four Daos to the Large Success Realm.
All things considered, he was still far off from reaching the Peak of the Dao Domain Lord Realm, but at the very least he felt like he was making decent progress, it was just that it was the first time he would spent such a long period of time trying to break through a single realm, something that he definitely couldn't get used to considering his previous rather rapid breakthroughs.
…
At the same time Xuan Hao began to make serious progress towards installing the first teleportation formations throughout the sect's territory, Chu Yang, who was still journeying around the neutral territory between the Blue Sea Empire and the Wei Empire.
Having left the Deep Pit City after spending a few weeks exploring the ancient ruins of the place without finding much of value, Chu Yang ended up being chased out by one of the city lord's successors, who thought he was working together with one of the other successors.
Luckily, even though his cultivation realm had been far from enough to battle the other party, he still had his master's talismans. Allowing him to just barely escape from one of the Soul Ascension Realm cultivators who had ended up joining the chaos that had ensued following the start of his battle with the successor.
In the end, it had caused him to wander through the core region without any clear goal in mind for the majority of the time that had passed. Not something he complained about, as there were countless opportunities inside the core region of the continent.
Allowing his strength to rapidly increase even without going to some of the more well-known locations he had learnt about… That was until he heard about an upcoming auction that was going to take place in the Light Hall Trade City.
The auction in question was not something he could participate in with his current strength, but it did present an opportunity for him, as it also aligned with a nearby secret realm opening.
The important part of that secret realm being that only someone below the Soul Ascension Realm could enter it. Making it the best location for him to increase his strength, as he felt confident in facing anyone in the Domain Lord Realm. Only feeling a bit more cautious towards those in the Later Stages of the Realm.
"So… This is the Light Hall Trade City…?"
With all of that in mind, Chu Yang was still taken aback when he finally spotted the Light Hall Trade City in the distance, as the city itself fare surpassed any city he had seen so far. Worthy of its title as one of the main trade hubs of the neutral region.
Of course, the main reason why it could keep this kind of title was not because of the size of the city itself, but because the city had the backing of the Light Hall, a sort of cultivation sect that operated inside the neutral territory. Having the backing of two Earth Immortal Realm (Dao Seed Realm) Ancestors and dozens of Soul Ascension Realm Elders. Making them one of the few peak powers inside of the neutral territory.
Even though he had confidence in his master's strength and the talismans that he had left behind for him to protect him, Chu Yang had no intention of offending such a powerful power. Especially considering that the number of talismans he was left with following his escape from the Deep Pit City and a few other dangerous encounters along the way, had been reduced to no more than three. Far from enough to try and singlehandedly fight back against a terrifying entity like the Light Hall.
Knowing this, Chu Yang decided to keep a low profile, as he went through the standard procedures for entering the Light Hall Trade City instead of flying inside like most other Domain Lord Realm cultivators decided on doing. Ensuring that he wouldn't end up attracting any unwanted attention.
After all, outside of the Light Hall that was hosting a once-in-a-century auction in a few days, there would also be other pinnacle powers from across the neutral territory present to participate in the auction taking place.
Not to mention, the younger generation of these powers would definitely also be present, as they would also be entering the secret realm that was slated to reopen shortly after the auction came to an end.
All things considered; Chu Yang ended up finding a remote inn to hunker down in. Not taking a single step outside before the day of the secret realm opening arrived. Understanding that doing so ran the risk of him bumping into an arrogant young master and in turn starting a conflict with one of the major powers present in the city at the moment.
Instead of that, he preferred just quietly cultivating for a few days by himself before entering the secret realm when the time came.
As for offending any of those peak powers after they entered the secret realm? Chu Yang didn't really care, as he was more than confident in being able to kill them off and preventing them from spreading any news outside the secret realm.
The main problem he found when he finally stepped outside of the inn, he had cultivated for the past few days was the fact that the different major powers seemed to have come to some sort of agreement to block off the entrance to the secret realm. Preventing anyone else from entering the secret realm without some kind of pass that had been available for purchase during the auction that had taken place earlier.
"…"
Not knowing what to say when he realized this, Chu Yang could only stare blankly at the different people entering the secret realm filled with anticipation at the treasures and cultivation resources waiting for them inside.
I can't give up on this kind of opportunity that cane help improve my cultivation realm, but… Forcefully entering like this… Won't I end up offending everyone present like that…?
