Cultivation Struggles of a Lowly Fox

Chapter 244 – Time for more chaos~!

Chapter 244 – Time for more chaos~!

"Divinator Jing." The Elder said gently, but was ignored by the girl with the dice.

She walked outside looking around. The little Fox was already gone, but her Divination did not end there.

Bai Jing already knew that the little Fox would cause more chaos, so she needed to retrieve her things from her room before that happened.

It was bad enough that her favourite underwear had a hole in an unfortunate place, but the rest might burn down at this rate.

Moreover, they should distance themselves from this place, since burning hell and slaughter are coming.

"Divinator Jing." The Elder softly spoke again, attracting her attention.

"Elder Ma." Bai Jing nodded softly. "We should leave this place soon, I also have to retrieve my stuff." She said gently.

Elder Ma furrowed her brows. "But we are still on a mission."

Bai Jing nodded softly once again, like she would to a child.

Elder Ma's lips twitched, but she didn't say anything more.

"In that case, I will retrieve my things and pray that you can survive what's to come." Bai Jing smiled gently before walking away, leaving the stupefied Elder Ma to her own thoughts.

Another Elder from a different Sect snorted. "Your Sect was never up to par to deal with this mission." He snorted disdainfully.

It would be good for his Sect if this all-girls Sect left. It would distract his Male disciples less and there would be less fuss about everything.

Elder Ma paused, so far Bai Jing was never wrong, so it was better to listen to her. She would question her later and appease the Sect Leader if he was upset.

She ripped a Talisman and spoke gently. "Get your things and retreat to the west."

"A wise choice." The haughty Elder laughed with glee, now more treasures will be left for them.

Elder Ma completely ignored him and went to get her things. It was important to match the speed of Bai Jing, since she was a lucky star.

...

{Meanwhile, over on Aiko's side}

She munched on some roots since she felt quite the terrific Divine Sense lock the entire area, but fortunately, it withdrew soon after.

"Phew, that was close." Aiko could not help, but mutter in fear.

*Ptooey*

Aiko kept spitting the roots and saliva that she munched with a teary expression.

"Bitter, disgusting." Aiko whined softly before running away. Her next plan was to set things on fire and she had the perfect way to do that.

She would set up wooden sticks all around the palace and inscribe a very simple Inscription on them.

It would work as a timer before it would create a small spark that would ignite the wooden stick and then that stick would burn everything around it.

It was a simple Qi Gathering Inscription with an Ignition Inscription. She toned down the Qi Gathering Inscription and used it as a timer for the Ignition Inscription, since it needed quite a bit of Qi in order to activate.

By Aiko's calculation, she had around 3/4 of incense time before it would start burning.

That was more than enough time to nab the corpses and the Princess and maybe a few Treasures.

Unfortunately, so far she did not encounter any Treasures...

Aiko sprinted around the Palace and set up more and more of these special sticks. She did not use high-quality Inscription Ink. This would allow the Ink to vaporise due to the intense heat and all evidence about her deep would be gone~!

Aiko sneaked around, and by the time she encompassed the whole Palace with dozens of such traps, the first trap activated.

A small building on the edge of the Palace slowly started burning, attracting attention.

As the servants ran to put down the flames, Aiko sneaked inside the main Palace towards the Emperor's Chambers.

There were not many powerful Cultivators, but Aiko still had to be careful so that she would be found out.

It was quite difficult to get to it as the closer she got, the more powerful Cultivators popped up, so Aiko changed her plans.

She sneaked out and went towards the Princess, who was surprisingly unguarded. Aiko tilted her head, not understanding why that was.

She sneaked inside. The Princess was staring forward without much life in her eyes.

Aiko had to be careful since she worried about the Arrays, but so far none of them had reacted to her...

Aiko went in front of the Princess. It felt like she was breathing? It was hard to tell as the Princess was cold. Aiko thought that she might be a corpse with a bit of will left in her, so she used her paws and waved them in front of her face.

The Princess flinched and looked down, noticing a very small Fox staring at her with... curiosity? Puzzlement? She couldn't quite tell what it was.

The Princess reached her hand towards the little Fox and stroked its beautiful and soft fur. She felt slightly better.

"Little Foxie, you should run before the guards roast you and eat you." The Princess's voice was very hoarse, but Aiko knew that she meant well.

"They can definitely try. I will stick a stick up their arse if they try that." Aiko said without blinking.

The Princess didn't move for quite some time before sighing. "I'm so broken that I even hear an animal talk." She shook her head slowly and weakly.

"Oi! I'm not an animal!" Aiko growled angrily.

The Princess blinked a few times. "You can talk?"

"Obviously." Aiko rolled her eyes.

"You should leave before others notice you." The Princess tried to push the little Fox away, but she was too weak to do so.

'We need her.' Suddenly, a very familiar voice resounded inside Aiko's body.

'Why, you stupid Seed?' Aiko snorted unhappily, that the sleeping bastard was once again talking to her.

'She has a good affinity with Nature, she will do well with Pills and Herbs.' The Seed answered without a pause. It was obvious that the Seed desired her.

'But I want the Treasure inside her body.' Aiko narrowed her eyes.

'I will help serve you in the future if you allow me to have her.' The Seed didn't hesitate about this situation.

Aiko lifted her eyebrow. 'You better work hard, or I will burn the both of you!' Aiko snorted.

'En.' For some reason, Aiko could feel that the Seed was happy...

"Alright, I will go." Aiko agreed with the Princess.

The Princess looked relieved for just a split second before the little Fox fished something out of her tail.

"Now get inside." Aiko smirked, patting the Storage Pouch.

The Princess was startled but surrendered to her fate.

"Please make it painless." The Princess said softly, closing her eyes.

Aiko tilted her head, she could not understand what the Princess meant, but at the same time, she couldn't care less. She grabbed the Princess and stuffed her into the special Storage Pouch that could house living.

Aiko nodded happily before throwing the Storage Pouch into her tails.

She then carefully sneaked outside, but for some reason, once again, the Arrays did not react to her.

Aiko felt confused and speechless if she knew that, she would absolutely nab her back when she encountered this place for the first time!

What Aiko did not know was the fact that the one controlling these Arrays was outside the city, heading west...

Aiko immediately dashed towards the main Palace as the fires kept spreading. It would be bad if the corpses burned in the fire!

Aiko rushed, but still tried to be as sneaky as possible.

She managed to bypass most Cultivators. There were a few powerful Cultivators looking around, but they did not pay as much attention to the Emperor's Chambers as they should.

This allowed Aiko to sneak inside and look at the corpses.

Fortunately, the Emperor was nowhere to be seen, which was a relief for Aiko.

She came to the corpses quickly and wanted to nab them, but from inside the corpses that same cursed liquid jumped at Aiko and quickly assimilated with her.

It seems like the liquid hates flames and heat...

[??? - 3/10] -> [??? - 99/10]

Aiko frowned when she saw this, but there was no time to ask the system or think about it.

Aiko jumped down and wanted to rush outside when she felt powerful Cultivators rushing towards her.

She hid behind a dresser and closed her eyes so that she wouldn't be found out.

"Take the corpses before they burn, since that useless Emperor can't even take care of a simple flame, we can just leave with the corpses!" One Elder said haughtily.

"We have fulfilled our half of the agreement, but..." The other Elder narrowed his eyes. "There are 3 corpses."

"That seems to be the case." The haughty Elder narrowed his eyes. "It's only the two of us since one Sect ran away. Tsk. Those unfortunate whores."

"Which means we will take two." The other Elder nodded happily.

"What?!" The haughty Elder glared at him. "It's only natural that we will take two!"

'Oh god...' Aiko rolled her closed eyes. She might be stuck in here for a while if this continues...

And stuck she was...

...

A part of the floor crumbled and Aiko fell below the Palace. The two Elders' still complained and harassed each other with words, trying to get a 'bigger piece of cake'.

Aiko was fortunately free now and could leave this place. She sneaked under the burning Palace, stepping on something sharp.

"Auch." Aiko flinched as she felt her skin pierced. She was shocked that her skin was pierced and jumped far away from that place.

Unbeknownst to her, this small prick would result in something way bigger than anyone could expect...

[Passion Potion]
[Allows the User to continue doing the deep for a prolonged time, enhancing the User's Stamina and pleasure. Works only for Mortals.]

Aiko's blood mixed into the potion that was near a fire and it slowly transformed into something different.

[Madness Potion]
[Induces Madness in User who drinks this. Works even powerful Cultivators.]

The [Madness Potion] slowly burned and its fumes spread throughout the whole Palace.

The Elders, Disciples, Servants, Royalty, and everyone else, slowly lost their mind and started to beat each other up...
