Chapter 248 - Heavenly Cultivator
Anred stared at his subordinate in silence, but soon one of his eyebrows raised as even after minutes he got no answer.
The man in the black robe seemed to feel that he have to answer now or he will get into a dire situation, thus clenched his fingers into a tight fist before talking.
"My Lord, the girl is still alive and... She succeeded in consuming the Lava Fruit..."
"What!? How can that even be possible?!" Anred raised his voice thanks to shock, but he quickly recovered from his mistake and said, "Tell me the details."
The man nodded and hastily began to explain what he saw and once he reached the end of his story, what he heard was sheer silence. Naturally, he wouldn't dare to raise his head in fear of causing trouble, hence the only thing he was able to do was to wait for Anred to talk.
But as he thought about it on a deeper level, it was only understandable. Although he didn't have vast knowledge as Anred or his friend Edwin, he clearly knew what a Lava Fruit was.
As far as he knew, the Ourvi Family had several Lava Fruits and even other treasures that they were trying to consume, but as all of their attempts ended up so far with failures, it wasn't a surprise to hear Anred so silent even after minutes!
After minutes later, Anred finally moved and asked, "This girl... Where is she now?"
"She is inside Moon Academy, my Lord. However, if I may speak, I think she was able to consume the fruit not because she knew how to do it, but because her friend helped her."
When Anred heard this he frowned and asked, "And what makes you say that?"
The man quickly nodded and explained how Khal explained to Liza how to kill Rock Golems while also how he saw Khal explain to Liza the ways to consume the Lava Fruit.
"Khal Nevio, huh? Isn't he one of your suspects?" Anred asked after a moment of pondering as he stared at the still kneeling man before him.
"Yes, my Lord, he indeed is, but what I saw was absolute. I am pretty confident that boy has told the girl how to consume the Lava Fruit!"
Anred remained silent again for a while before nodding as if he decided on something and waved his hand, "I see, thank you for the report."
"My Lord." the man lowered his head even more before his figure flashed and vanished into thin air.
Anred remained silent in his room before he took out a cube from his spatial ring and made it flash with black light, which quickly manifested into a figure's image.
"How can I help you this time?"
A man in a black robe and a circular glass on his face asked Anred, seemingly calm even though the one he looked at was the leader of the Ourvi Family!
Anred seeing the man's casual look slightly formed a smile and started to talk.
"I want to ask you for a favor, Roy."

Meanwhile, somewhere on Moon Mountain, a young man's figure could be seen flashing among the woods while corpses that gradually turned into Beast Essence piled up wherever he went!
If anyone would see such a sight, they would immediately get a fright as the creatures that were slain as if they were mere ants were at the peak of the Sixth Cultivation Stage! Each was strong enough to kill Cultivators on and below the Sixth Stage with ease, yet, right now they were like chickens, falling onto the ground lifelessly one after another!
And this sight went on for hours, exactly until the sun finally did not emerge, and the young boy who was no one else but Khal stood up from the ground after consuming his final Beast Essence.
"1321 units of Beast Essence under a single night, huh? Not bad. Now I only need 93 units and I can successfully reach the Seventh Cultivation Stage!" Khal told to himself before taking out two pills from his spatial ring.
"I only have these two High-quality Essence Pills... Let's hope they can give me enough." with that, Khal quickly tossed both pills into his mouth and swallowed them.
Swish!
Immediately as he said that, he felt a warm sensation swept through his body, and soon enough, the long-awaited voice appeared in his head.

Khal seeing the information and his status smiled with satisfaction before shifting his gaze at the bracelet on his hand, seemingly deep in thought.
However, soon he nodded as if he just decided on something and began to walk back to Moon Academy, or to be more precise, the Blacksmith Department inside it.
Once he was there and walked inside the smithery where Bazz was working with thick sweat drops flowing down his forehead, Khal stood on the side and waited patiently for Bazz to finish his work.
Sometime later, after his unknown amount of strike, Bazz straightened his back and without glancing at Khal asked, "You want to learn forging already, kid?"
Khal hearing Bazz smiled and quickly said, "Well, kind of. However, instead of learning, I want to try out something new. But for that, I need to use the Safety Chamber. Can I?"
Bazz raised his brow and turned to look at Khal, who still stood on the side with a calm expression, waiting for his answer patiently.
"Try out something in the Safety Chamber? What do you want to do?"
Khal remained silent, not knowing how he should say it, but soon sighed and without beating around the bush he said, "I want to forge Life Essence."
