Cultivation Through Artifacts

Chapter 256 - Flame Armor

After turning almost ninety percent of the cultivators present into nothing but ash, Logan calmly turned to look at Khal and with a nonchalant look, asked, "I see, you are doing perfectly fine. That's good to see, but..."

Squinting his eyes, Logan pondered for a while before his brows lowered into a tight frown.

"What?" Khal asked Logan as he noticed his strange gaze on his skin even after a whole minute. However, Logan decided not to answer his question but turn back around and glance at the few cultivators before him with a nonchalant look.

"I will give all three of you one final chance. Go away now or you will end up just like the rest."

The few cultivators, to be exact three, that was all on the Ninth Cultivation Stage glanced at each other, seemingly hesitant about what they should do.

.

Although they wished to obtain the iron that formed its God Essence, they were no fool to sacrifice their lives for it as what they could even do with it if they were dead? Well, nothing of course.

However, God Iron was not something everyone can see or possess much less create. In fact, the very last time one made a God Iron was several hundred years ago, and ever since then, no one was able to create one not even close!

Yet, right now, a boy who didn't even look older than 19 created a God Iron with god knows what kind of trick and it was something that was hard to believe!

Legends say that with a single God Iron, one could create a heaven-defying weapon or an almost indestructible set of armor! But there was also a slight chance where one could consume the God Essence from the iron, causing both of their cultivation base and physical strength to undergo never seen growth!

Thus, because knowing all of these things, the three were in a deep dilemma about what they should do.

Should they do everything in their powers to acquire the God Iron even if it meant to sacrifice themselves or they should retreat helplessly?

Time passed away silently, and after several minutes all three cultivators' eyes turned sharp before all of them clutched their weapons even more tightly than before.

"I can't call myself a man anymore if I run away and let this chance slip out of my hand! I will get that God Iron no matter what!" said the man with the longsword, his face holding a pair of dead serious eyes.

"Me too! If we work together there is no way he can stop us." said the one on the left.

"Yeah, it's three against one. Even if count that brat in, we should take care of this matter with ease!" laughed the third cultivator on the right, seemingly confident.

Logan and Khal stared at the three in silence, before Logan smiled coldly and said, "I see, you three are pretty confident in your powers. Then let me see just how strong you are!"

BAM!

Immediately as his voice fell, abyss black flames exploded from Logan's body before they quickly shrunk in size, forming black armor!

'Armor made out of his flames? How can that even protect him from attacks?' Khal raised his brow in confusion.

The three cultivators thought the same, but because they didn't want to waste any more time they raised their weapons and vanished from their spot before reappearing around Logan, attacking him from three different directions!

"Die!"

All three cultivators swung their weapons, one targeting Logan's head from above, one targeting his chest from the left while the last went for his waist from the right!

Each attack was seemed tremendously precise, ready to pierce and slash Logan's brain, heart, and abdomen with one single strike!

In Khal's eyes, all three attacks were extremely fast, to the point where even his Heaven's Eyes were incapable to keep track of their trajectory!

Yet, under such scary assaults, Logan remained motionless, his sword still lowered next to his body.

However, the next sight caused not just Khal, but the three cultivators that attacked Logan to open their eyes wide while their jaws dropped below their knees from pure shock!

Just as the three weapons could have pierced Logan's body and killing him on the spot, the moment they reached the flames on his body, the abyss flames began to spread on the weapon's surface, melting the weapons away under a split second!

"What?" Khal looked surprised and realized Logan's flame armor was way more powerful than any steel armor and made him wonder if he could do the same with his Hell Blaze or not.

Though, the scene didn't stop with the weapons melting away as the black flames continued to spread forth, ready to engulf the three cultivators and burning their bodies away into ash!

"Not good!"

Out of the three cultivators, only one was fast enough to react in time, letting his sword's hilt go a split second faster, but the remaining two was not that lucky. Just as they could have let go of their weapons, the flames have already reached the tip of their fingers and from there, there was nothing to stop them.

Just like what happened to the weapons, the two cultivators' body was engulfed with the abyss black flames before their bodies quickly got scorched away into nothing more but a pile of ash!

When Khal and the remaining cultivator saw this sight their complexion stiffened and stared at Logan as though he was a monster!

"What is the matter? Didn't you just say you will take the God Iron no matter what will happen? Then do it quickly and attack me ." Logan said calmly, even showing a boring complexion almost as if he was about to fall asleep.

Others would think the way he just talked and acted was rather arrogant, but after what happened it was not, not even a tiny bit!

The cultivator looked at Logan with seriousness. He knew that he could not win this fight no matter what thus lowered his hands completely and closed his eyes.

"Damn, this sucks!" the man sighed quietly and was ready to surrender, but just as he opened his mouth to talk, suddenly a sharp pain pierced his chest, causing blood to flow out of his mouth right away!

"!?"
