The upperclassman was hopping mad, but before he could act, the leading student waved him off and looked at Hiro.

His gaze was condescending and cold, as though he was facing a dead man.

As for Hiro, he was genuinely confused at the moment.

All of this couldn't have possibly escaped Broski's notice, right? Is he testing me or trying to teach me a lesson? Is this some sort of intimidation tactic?

Hiro couldn't figure it out, and he decided not to think too much about it.

He stood up from his seat—Hiro already remembered the faces of everyone who entered the room.

Thus, before they could act all pompous and cool in front of him, Hiro's body spun clockwise as he gripped the iron chair tightly and flung it at the group.

He didn't care who was the unlucky fellow who got hit by the chair first.

Shocked, the group of students hurriedly dodged in a scramble, but those in the back barely had any time to react when they saw the chair whizzing over.

Crash!

The chair smashed into someone's chest, knocking the air out of their lungs as they lay on the ground, writhing in pain.

"Kill this motherfucker!"

No one knew who shouted first, but the remaining twelve rushed over, their eyes red with anger and a sliver of colorless panic.

"Hey, don't rip my uniform!"

Hiro exclaimed, easily dodging a fruit knife—that somewhat surprised him, he hadn't expected someone to be so foolish as to bring a knife to a brawl between high school students.

After dodging, he swung his foot to ring the chime for some sweet chin music, but what sounded was a faint crack of a jaw getting dislocated.

A trace of ruthlessness flashed in Hiro's eyes as the fruit knife flipped in the air. He reached out to grab the knife, moving it with a beautiful arc that slashed down on its former holder's delicate face.

Skin split apart and blood flowed, soliciting a horrified shriek that disrupted the rhythm of the students.

Careful not to get any blood on his body and clothes, Hiro moved through the students, giving each of them an identical cut to the face that went away with their right eyes.

Soon, twelve students were on the ground in a pool of blood, and Hiro carefully stepped over their backs to avoid getting his shoes stained as he approached the supposed leader of the group.

He smiled and said, "Which eye of yours saw what happened?"

The upperclassman was horrified, his face drained of all colors as he stepped back in fear until he bumped into the concrete wall.

"I… I… I didn't see anything… L-look! There's a surveillance camera right there!"

In his panic, the student immediately remembered that the facilities were equipped with cameras—he immediately caught onto this lifeline.

Hiro was nonplussed as he said, "Do you think I care about some cameras at this point? Since you can't answer clearly, I'll help you out."

"No! No! No! Wait, wait, wait, wait…"

Slash! Splurge!

A shrill scream echoed in the closed locker room as the upperclassman fell to his knees, his hands covering both his eyes as blood spilled through his fingertips.

Hiro looked over at the guy who was hit by the chair at the beginning of the fight. He lay there motionless, head in his crotch, and he didn't dare to look up.

Hiro smiled as he asked, "Did you see anything? Hear anything?"

The student shook violently, but he didn't dare let out a beep. Hiro nodded in satisfaction as he said, "You have a bright future ahead of you, little guy."

As he spoke, the fruit knife in his hand caught fire, getting reduced to sparkling cinders that fluttered toward the ventilation unit above.

Sighing, Hiro walked out of the locker room, careful not to leave any fingerprints or footprints behind.

It was a very simple application of wind sorcery, creating a pressure buffer between his feet and the floor as he walked out.

Hiro didn't care how the school handled the aftermath of what just happened, this whole mess would fall into the hands of whoever cared about it.

Soon, Hiro found himself in Sebastian's car, driving back to the mansion.

Sebastian didn't ask why Hiro didn't go to his club activities for the day, as that wasn't within the scope of his job.

As curious as he was, Sebastian silently brought Hiro back to the mansion.

"Prepare the car tonight, I'm heading out to A-Club for some matters," Hiro said to Sebastian as he left the car.

With his current wealth, buying a nightclub wasn't a strain on his budget. However, he needed to understand the underlying rules and hidden dangers of directly buying a club within an established syndicate territory.

Hiro knew that the matter was far from a simple buy-and-sell deal and the signing of some contracts.

Even in his former world, underground organizations valued territory the most, let alone in this one.

As Hiro stepped into his master bedroom to prepare a casual set of clothes for tonight, his phone buzzed with a notification.

Looking at it, Hiro smiled wordlessly. It was a mention from Mr. Monocle in the Den of Syndicates group.

[Mr. Monocle]: @Little Boss what do you think you're doing?!

[Little Boss]: ???

[Mr. Monocle]: Don't play dumb with me, boy.

[Little Boss]: Do I need to play dumb with someone like you? Who do you think you are? Are you even worthy? If you have something to say, just say it.

[Mr. Monocle]: Seems like you really think you're something big now, huh? It was you who disfigured the group of students in the locker room, wasn't it?

[Little Boss]: Which eye of yours saw me doing that?

In a dimly lit room private room, Mr. Monocle saw the message and furrowed his brows.

The boy seated next to him saw the message, and his entire body shook uncontrollably.

"It's him! It's definitely him, boss! You have to take revenge for our brothers!"

He could barely contain the horror in his voice, to the point where he hunched over to the other side and puked—the stench of blood still lingering in his nostrils.

In the group chat, Mr. Monocle mentioned a few other users in the group. Meanwhile, Hiro muted the chat and tossed his phone to the side.

"What a waste of time. Ei, just hack everyone in the group and get me their information. I'm done playing this game."

His quantum watch's artificial intelligence, named Ei by Hiro, responded with the affirmation.

In this digital age of information, a quantum watch was like bringing a nuclear weapon in a street fight.

While Ei did the investigation, Hiro slipped out of his school uniform and went to take a shower.

With the chat on mute, Hiro no longer bothered with it. After his shower, he went to the study, shut himself in, and continued playing Legend of Babylon.

He was very close to the endgame, and judging from the plot progression, the maximum level of his character is going to be level 75.

In a sense, his power level would be somewhere between Tier-4 and Tier-3.

Although it was a pity, Hiro also understood the system could only get him so far.

After thinking for a while, Hiro uploaded more data to the research institute's cloud, speeding up their research process at a matching pace to his plot progression.

He hoped that by the time he finished the game, the new technology would be ready for mass production.

If the timeline was right, the completion of the technology, the completion of the game, the quarterly dividend from Nebula Electronics, and the completion of his high-priority mission would coincide.

Then, it would be much simpler to put his plans in motion; from his premature graduation to fixing a time to join Theo on his expedition.

By the time they made it back from the expedition, the new technology would have penetrated the market already.

Hiro was looking forward to these developments, and perhaps it was his excessive enthusiasm, but he progressed much faster in completing the chain quests.

Before he left for the A-Club, Hiro also entered the Transcendent Daoist game for the daily dual cultivation sessions.

Now, he had a total of four dual cultivation partners, and all of them had a higher cultivation realm than himself.

Hiro even doubted that no matter what, all his partners would maintain a higher cultivation base than himself.

Perhaps, the system designed the game this way to help him.

In any case, Hiro wasn't about to complain about it since his cultivation was indeed improving at a much faster rate.

Soon, it was dark outside, and Hiro left the mansion to find Sebastian waiting for him by the car.

Wordlessly, Hiro entered the car with Sebastian's help, then the car drove off into the entertainment center where A-Club was located.
