Tuesday morning.
The morning jogging exercise started to become a regular habit of his every morning. By using Stein's function to create a tailored, accurate map of his surrounding as he jogs, Zhang Qin Feng made sure that he's able to run at least 10,000 steps every morning. (Equates to about 8 kilometers)
"STEIN, what's my record for today?" he asked. Remembered that it took him about two hours to complete the 10,000 steps record on his first try, he's curious about how much he improved since then.
[The record for today is one hour and thirty-five. You've only taken a single stop today. Body stamina is at 23%, Fullness 21%. Suggesting user taking a cup of coffee or energy drink before going to bed for a quick nap would improve your recovery rate by twofold]
'Ho? Taking a coffee would improve my recovery by twofold?' Zhang Qin Feng chuckled. I thought coffee or energy drink is a type of stimulant that keeps people awake?' Zhang Qin Feng leisurely walked as he headed back home.
Feeling that he missed a lot due to his negligence, it was his first time to noticed that this neighborhood of his was quite beautiful when it was serene and quiet.
At least, in comparison to the hell from where Stein came, this place is like a heaven. The sound of the barking dogs, the elderly doing their household chores, the sounds of the bowls and chairs were set on the ground is what made this place "alive."
[That is because what you need at the moment is not that. We're looking for its other general effects, like reaction time, concentration, and motor coordination, that kicks in an hour after consumption]
Stein's reply was full of logic that Zhang Qin Feng finds hard to understand. It was like telling him that certain fruits can be eaten to boost his stamina, and some only worth eating for their fiber content.
**Ding - Dong!**
"Good morning, uncle and aunt. Can I get a cup of hot coffee today?" Zhang Qin Feng greets the married couple with a daughter as old as him.
"Ah, aren't this Old Chen's nephew? Doing exercise so early in the morning again?" the lady owner of the convenience store asked.
"Yes, aunt. I have to keep myself fit to be able to work adequately at my uncle's store." Zhang Qin Feng replied. Grabbing two cream buns from the hot item shelf, Zhang Qin Feng placed what he's buying by the cashier along with a ten dollars banknote.
"How many spoons of sugar, my dear?" she asked. The coffee she brews by pouring the hot water over the colander made from fabric soon ready inside a glass cup. Now, all she needs is to add some condensed milk or sugar to complete the brewing process.
"Just one will do, aunt." Zhang Qin Feng smiled as he replied to the lady owner.
"So sweet. I think your mother would be so disturbed for having such a good-looking son living out here alone. Had you found yourself a girlfriend?" she asked.
"Woman, stop digging people's privacy!" her husband said. It's not like they know nothing about Zhang Qin Feng's situation with money. As one of the tenants of Zhang Qin Feng's uncle, they naturally knew about his background.
Zhang Qin Feng was five when his father passed away due to an accident in the coal mines. Although the company was eventually fine and forced to pay a large sum of compensation to those affected, it was too insignificant.
"Alright! Alright! Why are you yelling at me early in the morning?" the lady owner yelled at her husband. But when she turned around back to Zhang Qin Feng, a smile returned to her face again.
"Come more to aunt's shop. Next time, I'll introduce my daughter to you," she said.
"Thank you, aunt. I'll come back with the glass later before I went to work." Zhang Qin Feng replied as he nodded his head a few times while leaving.
'Huh...' getting back into his room, Zhang Qin Feng took his time to savor the two bread and the coffee. And at the same time, it was also an opportunity for him to know more about the other dimension from Stein.
'Stein. Tell me more about the drops I get from hunting the zombies.' Zhang Qin Feng asked as he took a mouthful of the cream bun.
[They were the regular drops from the zombies. Even without the system's assistance, it is possible to obtain them by searching and salvaging their body]
[They were used as a currency for you to exchange them into processed products]
'Exchange into product? What is available? Where?' Zhang Qin Feng asked.
[The system does have a few functions related to this, but it was currently locked. More Duranium Shards are required to unlock the research function of the system. After opening this feature, we could start using what we've got to tailor-made your own equipment]
[To qualify as a self-sustainable base, a camp must be able to secure at least one Material Printer. The user would have to visit them personally to experience how it was over there]
[As for the products, they would be a selection of ammunition, munitions, gene enhancer, and rations. If you're lucky, some might have brothels there too]
Stein's choice of words caught Zhang Qin Feng's attention as he shows a hint of interest.
'There's brothel there too?' Zhang Qin Feng asked.
[Yes. Since the tutorial already mentioned how the world now keeps up with its population, of course, female clones would have to be pushed out. They usually come in many types, vary in height, size, and body proportion]
[I can feel that the user's testosterone level is rising. A little self-control is advised before the user take a nap]

...
"Thank you, uncle. I'll be going now." after a day of work, Zhang Qin Feng prepared to pull the shutter down after he got paid by his uncle.
"Alright, Xiao-Feng. Make sure you don't spend all your money on alcohol when you get home!" his uncle shouted in reply. But soon, a phone call interrupted him as he quickly answered the call.
"Hello... Yes... Sure! I'll deliver it to you now." Zhang Qin Feng's uncle hung up the call and made his way to the shutter in a hurry.
"QIN FENG! QIN FENG!!!" he shouted.
"Eh?" Zhang Qin Feng turned around and made his way back to the shop in a hurry. His response surprised his uncle. Sprinting like an athlete running for a 200m record, Zhang Qin Feng appeared right outside of his uncle's store with a record time of fewer than 30 seconds.
'This boy... Is he always this fit?' Zhang Qin Feng's uncle stared at him as he looks at his nephew properly.
"Is there anything you need me to do, uncle?" Zhang Qin Feng asked.
"Yes. Number 60 ordered two boxes of roasted duck breasts. Can you deliver this for your uncle? Just keep the money until tomorrow." his uncle said.
"Sure. I'll come to the back entrance." Zhang Qin Feng nodded. After grabbing the two boxes of duck meat, he quickly gave himself a push as he made his over to the shop with ten kilograms of weight on each shoulder.
~Suihe (South) Manyue Restaurant~
"Delivery! I've come with the two boxes of duck... Huh?" Zhang Qin Feng went inside the kitchen through their rear entrance.
But the situation inside the restaurant is slightly complicated. The kitchen workers are nowhere to be seen. While inside the restaurant, two groups of people were arguing about something.
"Sister Wang! No matter what, I'll have you handover this business to our Xuanwu Clan!" the leader of the group of uninvited hooligans toppled the table with teacups as he speaks.
'Oh sh*t! I ended up coming into a nest full of lions and wolves while delivering some duck meat!" Zhang Qin Feng cursed.
