Chapter 32

C32 – Nine Consecutive Explosions Threestar Cultivator Lost

Billowing black smoke enveloped the area, obscuring the vision of all those present.

However, Wang Shan had already utilized his Thunderclap Movement Technique to distance himself from the smoky haze.

“Excellent. Now, let’s see how you handle the potency of a Koffing.”

Perched on high ground, Wang Shan produced a Koffing and deftly launched it into the smoke!

The resulting explosion was deafening, sending shockwaves rippling through the air.

Thankfully, the crowd had been evacuated, leaving only Dung Tieh engulfed in the smoke.

The black smoke Dung Tieh had released was already laden with the volatile elements of the Koffing. Once Wang Shan’s Koffing detonated, the smoke itself became a secondary explosive, inflicting further damage on Dung Tieh!

The smoke, initially meant to disorient Wang Shan, now clouded Dung Tieh’s own vision, leaving him clueless about which direction to flee!

From his vantage point, Wang Shan observed Dung Tieh’s mental collapse into chaos, a far cry from the composure of a Three-star Cultivator.

But the real spectacle was just getting started!

“You fancy explosive tactics, don’t you? I’ll give you a taste of your own medicine!”

Wang Shan extended his hands!

Simultaneously, he fired multiple Koffing into the black smoke.

One by one, the Koffing bombs dropped into the smoke and detonated before Dung Tieh could muster a response.

Nine successive blasts created a miniature mushroom cloud in the middle of the street.

Every window in the nearby shops shattered under the force of the blasts.

The horrific power of the explosions was nothing short of catastrophic!

Gasping for air, Dung Tieh managed to utter, “Such terrifying explosive force, a hundred times more potent than my black smoke.”

As the roar of the blasts subsided and the smoke dissipated into nothingness, Wang Shan saw Dung Tieh lying in a massive crater.

The irony was palpable: a Three-star Cultivator incapacitated by a One-star Cultivator wielding Koffing.

The medical team arrived shortly thereafter. Treating a Three-star Cultivator was a top priority, and the mayor himself would ensure their well-being.

Seizing the moment amidst the throng of people, Wang Shan discreetly departed from the marketplace.

However, in this instance, it was Dung Tieh who initiated the attack on Wang Shan. Wang Shan acted in self-defense, so he wouldn’t face any repercussions.

After leaving the market, Wang Shan learned of a hidden black market in the vicinity, which only opened at midnight. Unhurried, he dined at a nearby restaurant.

Wang Shan’s strikingly beautiful maids had finished their shopping and joined him at the restaurant. Once seated, they began discussing the massive explosion that had occurred earlier at the market. They hadn’t seen who was involved in the fight, only that a One-star Cultivator had used a bomb to seriously injure a Three-star Cultivator.

The incident had caused quite a stir in the market, to the point where the mayor was reportedly seeking the One-star Cultivator, intending to offer him a lucrative position. Unbeknownst to the five women, they were actually talking about Wang Shan.

Listening to their covert conversation about him, Wang Shan couldn’t help but feel a bit smug.

“Why does the mayor want to hire a One-star Cultivator?” Wang Shan asked, feigning ignorance.

Wanxia answered, “Everyone at the market is saying that the One-star Cultivator managed to injure a Three-star Cultivator. His strength must be exceptional for him to do that, so naturally, the mayor wants to recruit someone with such talent.”

It was only then that Wang Shan realized Dung Tieh hadn’t perished but was merely severely injured in the blast. It appeared that the protecting armor he wore had shielded his vital areas. Otherwise, he would have been obliterated by the Koffing.

Hexia chuckled and shared, “I’ve got a funny story for you. They say that when the Three-star Cultivator was admitted to the hospital, he was so terrified that he wet himself at the mere mention of ‘Koffing.'”

The thought of a Three-star Cultivator of the Fire Attribute being gravely wounded by a Koffing wielded by a One-star Cultivator might leave a lasting scar on his psyche.

Just then, the midnight bells tolled, signaling the opening of the black market.
