Divine Mastering Dragon System

Chapter 7

C7 – Beginner Mission

[Beep. Dragon Tamer profile successfully matched.]

“Training details: You will join 80 other novice Dragon Tamers on the Dragon Battlefield, where you’ll be divided into teams of four based on average strength.”

“This is a simulated battle, so there’s no risk to your life. Dragon Tamers can engage in combat with one another, with rankings determined by survival time. Additionally, a constricting Beast Tide will encircle the outer perimeter of the Dragon Battlefield.”

A slew of other miscellaneous rules gradually filled Choo Qin’s mind.

But the more he heard, the more it all seemed strangely familiar.

Dragon Battlefield?

Eighty participants?

This… This is just a battle royale, isn’t it? Moreover, it’s the legendary squad-based battle royale.

Choo Qin couldn’t help but question Dragon Void’s sense of humor. This beginner mission, with its hints of battle royale gameplay, was quite the eye-opener.

Still, it differed from the typical battle royale. At least at the start, each team had four people and four dragons.

There was no mention of “equipment” to be scavenged along the way.

It was merely a stripped-down battle royale.

As the white light faded, Choo Qin found himself in a valley.

He scrutinized his teammates and involuntarily gasped.

Indeed.

There were four dragons.

But four people… not quite.

The first to catch his eye was a girl with pale skin, but she had long ears and slender, graceful legs. She wore an unusual green vine dress that accentuated her curves, prompting Choo Qin to think of the term ‘elf.’

Elves were known for their beauty, but the second one, an Orc, was twice his height with muscles bulging larger than Choo Qin’s whole body, sending a shiver down his spine.

The last one was harder to describe.

If the first two could be vaguely categorized as “elf” and “Orc,” the final one was definitely not human – it was a Green Ball.

”Hmm?”

The first to break the silence was the towering Orc, who surveyed the area and let out a disdainful snort.

“Human?”

“Hmph.”

“Since when did such a worthless race become Dragon Tamers?”

It seemed he was trying to assert his presence, or perhaps he was wary of the elf and the Green Ball. The Orc’s first words were a direct jab at Choo Qin.

In his world, humans didn’t hold a high status.

That’s why his gaze toward Choo Qin carried a hint of disdain.

The Orc’s voice sounded odd, yet somehow, Choo Qin could inexplicably understand him in this place.

“Fire Ball Arts.”

Without a second thought, Choo Qin launched a Fire Ball Arts. A massive blaze instantly formed and erupted beneath the Orc’s feet.

Surprise flickered across the Orc’s face as he threw up his arms in defense.

But alas, following a thunderous roar, the spot where the Orc had stood was obliterated.

The enormous dragon behind the Orc frantically attempted to strike at Choo Qin, but in a blink, it turned transparent and vanished.

[Beep. Your teammate, Mient, has been eliminated. The assailant: Choo Qin.]

Choo Qin was dumbfounded.

The Elf was perplexed.

The Green Ball was equally baffled.

Staring at the vast crater before him, Choo Qin found himself at a loss for words.

“I didn’t mean to kill him. I was just testing to see if it was possible to attack a teammate…”

It was an involuntary action.

I had merely tossed a small fireball.

Yet the once formidable Orc was now abruptly gone.

Both the Elf and the Green Ball were visibly startled by Choo Qin’s unexpected move.

They instinctively stepped back.

This human, who struck without warning and even slew his own teammate, was likely not someone to be trifled with.
