Dominator with Endless Level-up System

Chapter 9

C9 – Broken Arm Regeneration!

Upon hearing the system’s alert, Lee Tian stood rooted to the spot, a mix of shock and elation washing over him, unsure of his next move.

“Of course, the Venom Talent!”

A spark of realization flickered in his eyes. He recalled the Venom Talent he’d gained from hunting the poisonous centipede, and how he’d subsequently injured the lizard’s tongue.

It appeared that the Venom Talent had imbued his Scythe with a lethal venom. The lizard had succumbed to the poison after its tongue made contact, dying shortly thereafter. He had managed to kill it from a distance.

Lee Tian was ecstatic. The potency of the Venom Talent had taken him by surprise.

After acquiring the lizard’s regenerative ability, his right arm stump began to tingle and itch as if a new limb was burrowing its way out.

“Can regeneration happen this quickly?” Lee Tian wondered, astonished.

Having spent time in a biological research institute in his past life, he was familiar with the traits and behaviors of various small creatures.

He knew that it typically took a lizard two to three months to fully regrow a tail.

Yet, the regenerative power transferred to him seemed to work at an unprecedented pace.

Indeed, just one week later, he was wielding a brand-new right-hand Scythe.

It was nothing short of miraculous!

During that week, Lee Tian had been cautious, protecting his fragile, emerging arm and avoiding the hunt for high-level, dangerous animals.

Instead, he spent the week nestled in the treetops, weaving a spider’s web, preying on low-level insects like mosquitoes, flies, spiders, and tiny caterpillars.

Despite targeting only these minor insects, he had racked up a significant number of Experience Points, advancing his level to the 8th rank of Low Rank.

His size had increased considerably; he was now as large as a lizard.

Moreover, his Scythes had truly become formidable.

He lifted the Scythe, which glinted with a chilling, lethal brilliance in the sunlight, looking incredibly imposing.

“Now, am I ready to take on mid-level prey?” Lee Tian mused to himself.

But in truth, the creature he most desired to hunt was the Great Green Snake that had cost him an arm and forced him to utter those humiliating words.

“Great Green Snake, your day of reckoning will come—I will have my revenge!”

Gazing skyward, he swung the Scythe with a fierce motion, producing a sharp “chi chi” sound.

Evening had settled in. He ascended to the top of a tree, taking in the beauty of the twilight sky.

His eyes swept over a verdant mountain range that undulated into the distance, its end nowhere in sight.

The vast expanse of forest stretched to the horizon, merging with the sky, making it seem as though the fiery hues of the sunset had set the woodland ablaze.

The roars of wild beasts and the cries of predatory birds echoed intermittently through the endless forest.

When Lee Tian first arrived, the nocturnal sounds of these creatures had him worried about getting a good night’s rest.

Even now, his sleep was restless. He was plagued by the fear that he might not wake up again, potentially becoming prey while he slumbered.

He sighed deeply.

Someone who watches the sunset alone is surely troubled by heavy thoughts.

And he was no exception.

Before his arrival, he had been an employee at an obscure biological research institute on Earth Star.

He recalled his final days at the institute, where he was tasked with cleaning up after a group of experts had completed a biological experiment.

But as he was halfway through the cleanup, a small black hole appeared before him and rapidly expanded, as if space itself had been ripped open.

Then, the black hole that materialized from nowhere exploded, obliterating the entire laboratory.

In a bizarre twist of fate, Lee Tian found himself transported to this place, transformed into a tiny ant.
