Era of Players: Death God

Chapter 28: Visiting the Tower of Trials again

Demas's face lit up with a smile as he prepared to delve deeper into his explanation.

"The skills we acquire are imprinted in our minds the momt we obtain them," Demas began.

"Take the Fireball, for example. Its image is that of a small flame that appears before casting the spell. However, by adding an incantation, you can hance the power of the skill."

To illustrate his point, Demas conjured a fireball the size of a handball without using an incantation. He made sure everyone had a clear view of it before extinguishing the flame.

Th, with a flourish of his hand, Demas added an incantation.

"Oh flame, heed my call and manifest to consume my emy!" he chanted.

In an instant, a fireball materialized before their eyes, this time much larger than before, resembling a basketball in size.

The differce in power was evidt with just one look, and the studts' eyes sparkled with excitemt.

"Wow!"

"That's amazing!"

"Impressive!"

Whispers of awe filled the room as the skeptical ones became curious and eager to learn more about magic casting.

Demas clapped his hands twice to regain their atttion before speaking.

"Follow me to the training g," he instructed.

With eagerness, the studts rose from their seats and followed their teacher to the spacious training area closed by a transpart dome.

Demas stepped onto one of the many platforms prest and demonstrated the next skill. First, he conjured a flare without an incantation, th proceeded to create another one with an incantation.

"Flames, become a fervt mercy that conctrates all the chaos of good and purifies, becoming equal," Demas recited, his index finger spelling out the incantation.

The flames burst into existce with impressive speed, creating a fiery explosion upon hitting the g, covering an area of 5 meters, as opposed to the previous 3 meters.

"Childr of Ice, childr of Snow, ld me your breath. Freeze my emies with your ferocious icy breath!" Demas swiftly moved on to the next skill, using the index finger of his left hand to cast the spell.

He unleashed White Breath, a powerful ice skill exclusive to the first rank. The burst of cold air devoured a radius of 5 meters, instantly covering the platform in frost.

The studts couldn't contain their excitemt, realizing that their teacher was a Dual Mage, capable of using two differt elemts simultaneously.

Demas waved his hand, activating the platform's automatic repair function to undo the damage caused by the spells.

"As you can see, adding an incantation amplifies the power of your skills," Demas explained, addressing those still skeptical about the worth of incantations.

"Magic casting is esstial, and with practice, you can cast spells in less than a second."

He emphasized the importance of the three steps in magic casting: Image, Incantation, and Casting.

"Use your imagination to modify the image of your skills, create the spell through incantation, and release it through casting. This process is vital and will elevate your skills to a higher level."

The studts nodded, some already attempting to follow in their teacher's footsteps, realizing that it was not as easy as it seemed.

"Take your time, let's start slowly," Demas cautioned those eager to rush. "History is not made in one day."

Meanwhile, in another location, Noah made his way towards the Tower of trials, lost in thought. He had no regrets about his decision. Knowledge could be acquired at any time, and he had the support of his father and the system. Wasting time was not something Noah desired.

Once he had organized his thoughts, Noah decided to test the capabilities of the system.

"System!" he called out siltly in his mind, and the familiar, emotionless voice responded.

"Yes, host. What question do you have for me?" the voice answered.

Noah frowned, realizing he had forgott to customize the system's voice, something he believed was possible.

"Can you change your voice?" he asked.

"Affirmative. Which one would you prefer? Male or female?" the system replied, asking for Noah's choice.

"Female, please," Noah requested.

"Understood! Switching voice to a female one..." the system confirmed.

"Greetings, Master!" the system greeted Noah with its newly changed voice.

"Good," Noah nodded in satisfaction. The voice may still be emotionless, but the change to a female voice was preferable. He didn't need a system with emotions; he just needed its support.

"Now, tell me, if I remember correctly, you mtioned that the system can give missions depding on the situation. Is that correct?" Noah asked, finally getting to the point.

"Affirmative," the system confirmed.

Noah's grin wided as he received the answer he wanted, and it sounded pleasing to his ears.

"That's good to know!" Noah said with a grin, revealing his fangs. The confirmation from the system gave him the courage to proceed with his plans. Otherwise, he might have turned back and returned to his room.

Noah hummed happily as he walked toward his destination, the magnifict Tower that soared above the clouds. He had come to ter it once again, but this time his purpose was to train and increase his strgth before the upcoming challges.

"Let's grind some experice and earn some gold coins," Noah said, his excitemt evidt on his face. With a wide grin, he tered the Tower, ready to embark on his journey.

As he stepped inside, an overwhelming sse of anticipation washed over him. The towering structure held countless opportunities for growth and advancemt. Noah couldn't help but feel a surge of determination and eagerness to push his limits.

The interior of the Tower was vast, with multiple floors filled with various creatures and challges. It was a place where the studts sought to hone their skills and gain power.

Noah wasted no time and began his asct after he tered the Tower of Trials, naturally he appeared on the first floor.
