Chapter 81 Spirit Comm upgrade - Message Function
Chapter 81 Spirit Comm upgrade - Message Function
'There is a new upgrade. Upgrade version: 1.01x.'
'Upgrading Spirit Comms.'
'Upgrade completed.'
'New Feature: Message Function'
'Details: Users can now send, receive, and save messages from their friends and families. All that is needed is the receiver's unique number.'
The upgrade only took a couple of seconds, and all Spirit Comms were upgraded on the fly. Some people didn't have the time to grasp what was happening when the upgrade finished.
Inside the hall, the elders were excited as they quickly sent their consciousness into their Spirit Comms. Besides the phone book, there was a new icon of an envelope.
They didn't need to be told that this was the new upgrade. Everyone clicked on the envelope icon, and it took them to another interface.
After playing around with the message app for a few moments, the elders had a general idea of how to use it.
"Sect Master… This idea is great," Su Hua exclaimed with shock written all over her face.
"Yes. We don't need to call every time to pass on short information. With this, we could do it without much hassle," Su Ming added.
Every one of the elders uttered a positive comment, one after the other, pleased by their sect master's creativity.
After receiving the praise of the elders, Su Yen ended the meeting, and four people stayed behind. There would have been five, but Elder Su Feng was monitoring the spirit mine on the Southern Sea.
'Perhaps, I should call him back. There is more work in the sect than that,' Su Yen thought as he looked at the four people standing in front of him.
"Call Elder Su Feng back," he commanded, looking at Elder Jie.
"I'll do that immediately," Elder Jie responded and sent his consciousness into Spirit Comms, using the new feature - the message - to send a message to him.
"Done," he reported, his face beaming with a smile.
"Alright. Follow me," Su Yen said lightly and walked out of the main hall.
Walking behind him, the four looked at each other and wondered where he was taking them. Even though they were curious, everyone played the silent card.
They went deep into the sect, with tall trees on both sides. This place was reserved as their sacred ground, and only the sect master had the authority to enter.
The spirit essence in the air was much thicker than the outside. The group walked in silence until they arrived in front of a small wooden house.
Walking inside the bamboo house, the four realized they couldn't hear the outside sound and understood that the ordinary-looking house was protected by a powerful formation.
"What I want to show now will be part of the foundation of our sect," Su Yen began slowly. His voice, clear and raspy, carried a weight of solemnity that filled the room like an unspoken oath.
The four elders nodded in unison, their expressions etched with utmost seriousness.
Su Yen, though the youngest among them, commanded an unassailable authority. They understood that beneath his youthful and handsome exterior lay a resolute and ruthless leader.
Without uttering a word, Su Yen waved his hand in a graceful arc. In an instant, the ground before them transformed into a breathtaking spectacle.
Hundreds of armors and weapons materialized from his storage ring, their intricate designs gleaming in the soft ambient light, forming a small mountain.
The elders' eyes widened in sheer disbelief, their breaths stolen by the awe-inspiring sight before them.
Armor plates adorned with ornate engravings, their surfaces polished to a mirror-like shine, lay juxtaposed with blades that seemed forged by the gods themselves.
Each weapon bore the aura of ancient craftsmanship, a testament to the artistry of a bygone era.
Su Yen observed their reactions with a knowing smile, understanding that he had not just revealed weapons and armors but had unveiled a new era for their sect.
A future filled with boundless potential and an indomitable spirit that would forge their path to greatness.
However, that was not all. He waved his hand gracefully once again, and thousands of scrolls filled the room.
Before the elders could react, hundreds of memory jade filled the room.
For a couple of seconds, the room was in silence as the four people were trying to comprehend what they were seeing. They could understand the armors and weapons but were these scrolls and jade.
"Like I said previously, these will be our foundation," Su Yen's voice brought the stunned four out of their reveries.
They fixed their gaze on him, their faces racing with excitement.
"Elder Su Jie and elder brother would sort out the armors and weapons based on their grade, while elder sister and elder Hua would focus on the scrolls and memory jade," he continued.
"If you're confused about anything, you can send me a message. I want complete details of everything by tomorrow."
"Do you have anything to ask me?" Su Yen asked, looking at their faces.
Recovering from their shock, Su Ming asked with a trembling voice. "Are we the only people that will sort it out?"
"Of course, no one should know about this. Besides, that's why I'm giving you until tomorrow," he responded as a matter of fact.
Now, the four went from their high excitement to shock and to despair. How in the world would the four of them complete sorting everything out in less than a day?
They wanted to cry, but there were no tears in their eyes. They exchanged glances and sighed. Anyway, this would make their sect stronger than before.
"Is there anything else?" He asked, not minding their unsightly faces.
They shook their heads, staring at the mountain of work before them, not knowing where to begin.
Leaving the ordinary wooden house, a cruel smile appeared on his face. 'That's for me suffering through that damned desert all alone.'
Walking back to his courtyard, 'My body nerves had been on the edge all week. I need to relax. Maybe I should spend some time with Yin, and perhaps I could lose some steam.'
Just then, he received a call. When he looked at the caller, a bright smile spread across his face.
