Chapter 9: Eight Year Bliss Wing
Chapter 9: Eight Year Bliss Wing
Harvard sat down on at the white table and listened to two of the players bickering.
"She's hot! Ugh, why is she so hot!"
"Can I put a bid on that!" The two players laughed while Harvard analyzed the first gentlemen on the right.
[King Harvest] (Silver Harvest Guild)
[Level 21]
[Leaderboard ranking: 10]
[Reputation: temperamental]
'Huh, he clearly likes women,' Harvard nodded his head and looked at the stage. A female auctioneer walked out with a beautiful golden scale dress on. He couldn't help but also mutter, 'she's beautiful', but that would be an understatement.
She had brunette hair in a bun with two golden eyes that matched her dress. She sure had something important to sell, though, she revealed it by pulling a blue curtain.
"The first item on sale today is the level 30 Angel Gloves"
[Angel Gloves] (rare)
[Level 30]
[Ability 1: Return]
[Returns you to the nearest safe location.]
"The current starting price is 10,000 Lograms. May you stop looking at my cleavage please and just bid already!"
"50,000 Lograms!"
"100,000 if you're included!" King Harvest smiled and turned to look at Harvard. "If she accepts, can you lend me 50,000 Lograms? I'll give you a drink in return."
"No way," Harvard patted him on the back. "It's nice to meet you. Any chance you know the count?"
"Can't talk. I'm watching!"
"Sold!" The auctioneer smiled and clapped her hands. "That will be 100,000 Lograms. Guards, make sure King Harvest doesn't escape."
"Help me bro! Help me!" A hand came from behind King Harvest and pulled him off the table. "It was a joke! I didn't mean to bid it!"
"Well, now that the seat is free," An old gentleman sat down next to Harvard. He had a large red cloak with a bronze necklace around his wrist. His white gloves also had a few embellishments. He looked loaded enough to buy a planet. "I'm Count Silvester. I heard you met my daughter. You didn't do anything to her yet, did you?" He whispered and patted Harvard's back.
"Ugh, no sir. She did stuff to me though, haha!" Harvard cleared his throat. "I mean, ugh, she sent me here to buy something at the auction!"
"It's time for the second item of the night, an Eight Year Bliss Wing! This beast isn't just hideous. Oh, the count is here! Hey dad!"
"Hey daughter! Keep killing it!" Count Silvester smiled and flicked back his long auburn hair. "She came out so well! If I told you I forgot who the mother was, would you believe me?"
[Snatch failed: opening detected]
Harvard gulped and put his hand down and smiled at Count Silvester. He tried to reach for the pendant, but before he could he slightly moved.
'This will be a battle of wits. I'm sure this man is really smart.'
"I'm going to get shit drunk!" Count Silvester held up his hand and drew over a waiter in a black suit. "Get me shit drunk young man! Give one to Harvard on the house."
'He knows my name. This is also a bad sign,' Harvard gulped and looked at the Eight Year Bliss Wing. It looked sort of sad and trapped. He felt the same. Count Silvester seemed like a dangerous opponent.
"You know! I feel completely at ease with you Harvard! So how's Sylvia? I have people follow her all the time, but she always escapes! I'll pay you 1 million Lograms to get close to her."
"Can you give me that amulet? She wants it back," Harvard just decided to shoot his shot. "I mean, you don't have to hahaha! Just if you want."
"I will. In exchange for you taking a quest! Get into my daughter's inner circle, and tell me everything about her love life! Do you hear me."
[New Quest: Stalk Sylvia]
[Sylvia's father Silvester has been trying to get in contact and spy on his daughter for years, but she always escapes when he tried! Will you stalk her better than anyone ever stalked her before? Give him details about her love life, and you will not regret it!]
[Quest update: You've gotten the Count's necklace.]
[Return to Sylvia to receive a reward.]
'This is too easy. I feel like I'm the cage of a beast."
"Last call for the Eight Year Bliss Wng! 30,000 Lograms going once twice"
"40,000" Harvard slammed his hand on the table! "For the count! For the best noble to ever serve this country!" Harvard smiled and turned to look at the count. He'd fallen asleep. "Nevermind! I changed my mind!"
"Do you have it, or death?" The auctioneer walked towards him with a cage. When she walked, every guy turned predictably to follow her pleasant shaped bum. "King Harvest is currently paying his toll. Are you next?"
"I'm good for it," Harvard offered her 41,000 Lograms with a trade box.
[Trade accepted]

"What happened!" Count Silvester woke up. "Damn it! Show the last item already."
"And our final item for the auction's starting price is one hundred thousand Lograms! Are you all ready to see the most spectacular weapon ever?"
###
"Man, what a rip off!" Harvard walked back towards Sylvia's. "I had 250,000 Lograms and now I have zero! I-I just can't say no to shinny things! No more auctions, Harvard!"
Harvard bought some stupid sword. A few people followed him afterwards, but he outran them.
"Let's see," Harvard took it out of its sheathe. "Nothing too special here."

"I have enough going on right now," Harvard walked back into the Tavern. "Sylvia! Are you here?"
"She's in the back waiting for you. Be prepared. She heard you talked to her father. She's upset." The bartender said before a man turned around and nodded his head.
"Very upset." The man with a brown mask said, who also happened to be the man who turned round.
"You might die," The bartender smiled and waved Harvard towards behind the bar. He wanted to run, but the muscular framed man from earlier had already blocked all the exits.
'I-I don't know what I did to deserve this! What his happening! I just wanted a class! Not to be put in the middle of a family fracas! Help me! Something please good happen!'
Harvard opened the door to the back of the warehouse and immediately noticed a girl had been tied up in the back. She had a bag over her head, and a somewhat familiar body. However, Harvard couldn't put a finger on it. Something about the cleavage seemed so familiar.
"She-she tried to steal from us," Sylvia tossed an apple at the table. "However, I'm too depressed to kill her. I-I had no idea my beautiful busty sister would be at the event today. That golden girl always earned father's affections."
"Hewlp! Hewlp!" The girl screamed. Harvard looked at her once. He only knew one girl that talked like that.
"By any chance, before we talk more. Can you remove that girl's bag over her head?" Harvard laughed and sat down at the table. "I-I have something for you."
"I was watching you from the window. I know he gave you the necklace. So what? I stalked you!"
"Oh, can you read lips," Harvard laughed and dropped the amulet down at the table. "Haha, but other than that. Is the quest over."
"Your nightmare just began," Sylvia wiped a tear from her eye, and slammed her hand into the table. "Do you think life is easy! You have to suffer before you get what you want! Look at me! I'm crying! Wah! Wah!"
"Go and rob some people! 100 people! Make sure they don't find out you did it! Kill 3 as well! Take the girl outside and start with her or not! I don't care!"
[Quest Update: Rob them blind]
[Sylvia wants you to rob 100 different people and kill a few while you're at it! Start with the girl and take her outside! Whether she lives or dies is your choice!]
[Mission Difficulty: D]
'I-I thought this was to get a class with the skill to rob. How am I supposed to rob without stealth? What am I supposed to just hide behind a tree?' Harvard could tell Clyvia was feeling temperamental. After breaking the table, she went out and punched the bartender. After his tooth fell out of his mouth, he knew he had to leave.
"Come on, Miss. We got to go," Harvard grabbed the female lady by the wrist. Even her skin felt familiar. "It's time to take you to a very dark place."
