Fantasy: The Great Emperor Comes Back

Chapter 12

C12 – I Am Willing

The Energy Condensation Level 5 Puppet, akin to a wild beast of the forest, had the power to shatter boulders, its fists sending shockwaves through the void that erupted in sonic booms.

Mo Yunyun could distinctly hear the sonic booms, yet Mo Changyou appeared far more composed.

Confronted with the iron-blood puppet, whose eyes glowed red with ferocity, Mo Changyou channeled the Dragon Tiger Fist. His left hand morphed into the spectral image of a dragon, while his right hand took on the form of a tiger’s phantom. Amplified by the Battle Symbol Spell, the force emanating from his arms was more than doubled.

At Energy Condensation Level 3, Mo Changyou unleashed a punch that made the puppet’s arm quiver violently, sending its body flying several meters back. The puppet attempted to retaliate, but Mo Changyou’s agility was superior. He effortlessly sidestepped the puppet’s frame and delivered a swift kick.

The Puppet crashed to the ground, and in that instant, Mo Changyou’s punch surged forward, echoing with the roar of a True Dragon.

With his left fist, Mo Changyou struck fiercely, a golden True Dragon coiling and roaring around his arm as he delivered a devastating blow to the downed Energy Condensation Level 5 Puppet. The surrounding void reverberated with sonic booms, and the Puppet’s chest bore the brunt of an overwhelming blow.

The puppet’s body split open under the force of Mo Changyou’s punch, rendered immobile. Mo Yunyun’s cheeks flushed with heat.

“I was wrong about him. The son of the Second Master seems to be even stronger than his father was,” Mo Yunyun whispered to herself, her gaze fixed on the young man before her, her heart fluttering.

Mo Yunyun’s disdain for Mo Yangning stemmed from her belief that he was inferior to her. But now, for the first time, Mo Changyou had impressed her, showing that a male practitioner could indeed be exceptional.

Mo Changyou flexed his fist, having found it somewhat challenging to defeat the steel puppet. Without his innate Vajra Sacred Body, he would have sustained significant injuries from shattering the steel puppet.

“The Energy Condensation Level 5 Puppet was surprisingly resilient, able to withstand my ferocious assault.”

As Mo Changyou strolled along, he found himself muttering about a system from 100,000 years ago, not realizing how much more daunting it had become. It had been a mere 100,000 years since he had ascended to the rank of Monarch. And now, the entire world had transitioned into the Falling Monarch Times.

There were no Monarchs left in the world. Once, the Heavenly Martial Divine State boasted over two hundred Monarchs, but now, after 100,000 years, they had all vanished. Those Monarchs, once capable of plucking stars, traversing the Time-space Long River, and roaming the cosmos, had all disappeared. This was highly suspicious.

Mo Changyou’s soliloquy left Mo Yunyun trailing behind him, slightly taken aback. She found it odd to hear him speak; after all, he was merely an Energy Condensation Level 3 cultivator. He had defeated the puppet and yet seemed to think nothing of it.

Nevertheless, a glimmer of admiration shone in Mo Yunyun’s eyes. She had witnessed Mo Changyou’s movement techniques, his battle awareness, and his cultivation methods—all of which were of the highest caliber. His execution of the Dragon Tiger Fist was so masterful and fluid, it seemed beyond what a young Energy Condensation Level 3 should be capable of.

“You truly are the Second Master’s son,” Mo Yunyun thought to herself, eager to ask more questions and uncover answers from Mo Changyou.

Now, it was just Mo Changyou and Mo Yunyun on the sixth floor of the Azure Dragon Pagoda. Mo Yunyun had anticipated a challenging trial, but with Mo Changyou present, she found herself, a prodigy at Energy Condensation Level 5, with little to do during the battle against the puppets.

Mo Changyou had the puppets tied up in knots. Even the few that managed to break away were nearly incapacitated. His iron fists were formidable, and his Dragon Tiger Fist had reached an unparalleled level of mastery. The puppets struggled to withstand his assault.

“Do I really serve no purpose on the sixth floor of the Azure Dragon Pagoda?” Mo Yunyun murmured to herself with a wry smile, incredulous at the thought. After all, she was the Mo family’s top talent under eighteen. Who would have imagined she’d be rendered so utterly superfluous?

As for Mo Changyou, his fists were nearly bleeding. He remained silent, continuing his march forward, glancing at his blood-dripping knuckles. Mo Changyou slightly extended his arms, gazing at the entrance to the seventh floor, poised to take that step inside.

Behind him, after a lengthy hesitation, Mo Yunyun finally spoke up.

“Can you help me with the side effects of Qi Deviation?” she asked, her voice clear and determined, a product of gathered courage.

”You didn’t believe me before?” Mo Changyou turned to face her with a grin, his handsome features and bloodied hands oddly compelling. Mo Yunyun, clad in a light yellow dress, met his gaze.

“If you can rid me of the Qi Deviation’s side effects, I’ll do whatever you ask,” she declared, her lips catching between her teeth at the final words. The thought of sleeping with him, as he had once suggested, sent a flush of warmth across her cheeks.

”Any request? Even if it means becoming my servant?” Mo Changyou’s smile deepened as he appraised the young woman before him, her temperament nothing short of excellent.

He resembled a deity, lofty and supreme, looking down upon mere mortals.

Under the intensity of Mo Changyou’s gaze, Mo Yunyun’s pretty face turned a deeper shade of red. She was, after all, a virgin, and throughout the years, she hadn’t found a single male disciple within the Mo family with whom she connected well. The reason was simple: Mo Yunyun had declared that her partner must be capable of defeating her. Sadly, no one in the Mo family qualified—except for Mo Changyou, who now stood before her.

Finally, gathering all her courage, Mo Yunyun spoke again.
