Fate Online: Shadow

Chapter 273 Oh my...god!

After that, Michael started making his way towards the direction of the house of the Druid Sonya.

Michael arrived and stood before the door of Sonya’s house, and a few seconds passed, he finally decided to knock on the old door.

Knock! Knock! Knock!

"Come in" an aged voice sounded from inside the cabin.

Michael pushed the door open and closed it before him, and when he focused his attention inside, the thing that quickly caught his attention were Mara and Ant sleeping soundly beside the fireplace while Sonya sat alone on her reclining chair, busy reading some kind of book with a cover that looks really worn out from use.

"So this is where these two kids were," Michael said while Sonya nodded at him as an acknowledgment of his presence.

"I heard you wanted to see me?"

Finally, Michael remembered what he came here for as he quickly turned his attention to Sonya.

"Yes, I wanted to give you something," Sonya said while she slowly got up from her reclining chair, and then slowly made her way towards a small cabinet hanging on her kitchen wall.

She opened it and took out a small brown leather pouch, closed the door and turned towards Michael.

"Here, I wanted to you to have this" Sonya said as she handed the small pouch to Michael, where the latter received it respectfully to his hands.

"Seeds?" said Michael, the moment the pouch was in his hands.

[Small Leather Pouch]

A worn-down leather pouch full of precious seeds that could be planted in rich soil.

"Yes, seeds"

"I’m sure you’re planning to turn half of the new land into a garden, right?"

Sonya slowly sat on her chair and stared straight at Michael.

"Yes, I did have that in mind" Michael answered as he also stared back at her, while deep inside him, he was wondering how this old lady knew what he had in mind for the new land, as he did had the thought of turning half of the land into a garden so that the village would have a more stable source of food.

"Use those seeds well," Sonya said, and after that, she didn’t say anything anymore as she just focused on the book she was reading earlier.

Michael bowed to her before making his way out of the cabin.

"Were you satisfied with that?"

Sonya opened her mouth a few moments after Michael left her home.

"Of course"

Suddenly, Michael’s teacher, Laura, suddenly appeared from behind Sonya, wearing a smiling expression on her face.

"You could’ve had just given it to him personally, why do you have to make me do it?" Sonya snorted in annoyance.

"Because I didn’t want him to know that we know each other" Laura laughed, but it quickly disappeared as her expression quickly turned serious.

"Enough about my student. When are you gonna finish your matters here and come to Sky Peak? The others are already starting to get impatient"

Sonya snorted as she put down the book she was reading and stared straight at Laura who is standing in front of her and said, "Hmmph! If they can’t wait, then they should come here instead"

"If they want something from me, then they should come here instead of me going to Sky Peak. they are the ones who want my help, and they dare to be impatient of me?"

If it wasn’t for the two kids sleeping near, then she would have been yelling at Laura by now.

"Tsk!" Laura just clicked her tongue, and then she gave the two kids sleeping soundly on the floor, then looked at Sonya, and said, "Anyway, how come that you’re now letting someone sleep in your home? Have you gone soft or something?"

Sonya quickly glared at Laura as her eyes flashed with a dangerous light.

"Shut up"

Laura just gave a quiet snort, but then her eyes suddenly jumped in surprise when she discovered something that shocked her to her core.

"Impossible! These two kids...they’re Draconians! How come I’ve just noticed it now!?"

Laura really wanted to yell, but she made sure to control her voice so as not to attract the attention of the people outside.

"So this was the reason why you were reluctant to leave this place when I invited you to leave with me a few years ago"

There was a reason why Laura was so shocked when she discovered that the two kids sleeping on the floor were Draconians.

Draconians are a very race of half breeds, born from a human parent and a dragon parent.

Draconians being born are rare because Dragons rarely, very rarely do they have someone of another species as their partners.

In fact, if Dragons do mate with another species, they would only pick someone whose powers are equal or greater than their own, and anyone below them can only f*ck off to the side!

And not only Draconians are rare, but they are also even more powerful than most of the dragons!

It was because a Dragon, ancient or not are mostly single attributed individuals. This means most of them are born with only a single element, like a fire dragon, a water dragon, an earth dragon, and so on, and so forth.

And a dragon being born with dual elements is something that happens only once in a blue moon.

While on the other hand, Draconians might be more physically weak compared to a purebred dragon, but all of them are born with the ability to wield multiple elements, and because they have the blood of a dragon flowing within their veins, them being able to use multiple elements makes them really powerful as their dragon ancestry allows them to easily sense and control the elements around them compared to other species in the continent.

And one prime example of a famous and powerful Draconian is the Dragon Master, Hiccup!

"My God, don’t tell me these two kids are...yours?" Laura looked at Sonya with widened eyes, her eyes filled with disbelief.
