Chapter 330: Six Solar Palms of Mount Heaven

Chapter 330: Six Solar Palms of Mount Heaven

Musashis two katanas were unorthodox. Traditional katanas were standardised at three feet long, while his katanas lengthed 3.5 feet and 2.5 feet respectively. A short and a long sword, blending together to reach a state of equilibrium.

These were Musashis swords, ones that embodied the Niten Ichi-ryuinheritance of Miyamoto Musashi the Samurai Lord.

Drako Yau went ahead and left the fight against Musashi to Tripurity. He didnt mind butchering other Western players instead of taking on the enemy general. Chau Yu believed that external enemies should be fought in unity, and he agreed with that mindset.

A war between the East and the West no longer existed in the actual world, but this was a game. Similar to how the infighting on the Eastern server began, this was a war for superiority. No one wanted to fall behind precisely because it was a game.

Both servers desired to establish themselves as the better ones, not to mention the systems incitement by awarding Merit for slaying players of the opposing server. Their animosity had been set in stone from the very start. In that case, there was no need for Drako Yau to hold back.

A red silhouette approached Drako Yau, someone with a familiar face. Grumpyteen. Although he had been defeated before, he showed no fear even when up against enemies above his calibre.

Another person behind Drako Yau stepped up to the challenge. The young man said, Sir Mask, Ill take him on.

Fong Sai Yuk was rather upset.

He was still a young man with little experience in life. To him, things were either black or white. There was no such thing as in-between. As such, he was extremely dismayed by Hibiscus restrictions on the Easts Holy Ground even though he was a member of Sky Dominion, which was a guild in Myriad Blooms. Despite having access to the Holy Ground, he forsook it and roamed the Warring Wastelands freely. He immediately went to join Chau Yu and Drako Yau the moment their call for battle was announced.

When Fong Sai Yuk saw someone trying to get in Masks way, he unhesitatingly charged forwards. Grumpyteen frowned and tried to circumvent him, but he soon felt a surge of heat approaching him. A flaming palm was headed his way!

What the hell?

Fong Sai Yuk was also thrilled; he was using this skill for the first time in actual combat. If the inheritances granted at the Tea Party of Swords were ranked, he and Chan Ka Lok were undoubtedly the ones who hit the jackpot.

Secret technique of the Carefree Sect, Six Solar Palms of Mount Heaven!

Grumpyteen was no ordinary player either. He met the incoming palm with a palm strike of his own. Their palms clapped against one another, and they both retreated after the clash.

Grumpyteen felt his palm scorched by the intense heat. Fong Sai Yuk was equally in pain; a visible cut was present on his palm.

The Hooligan class Concealed Palm Blade. Hooligans were sly tricksters, reflected by their skills. The skill appeared to be a palm strike, but it instead inflicted a cut on the enemy.

Despicable, Fong Sai Yuk cursed before lunging in again.

While his palms were still in flames, he also activated the Pugilist skill Aerial Breaking Palm. A palm of flames shot towards Grumpyteen through the air.

To think that such a youngster has such strength Looks like weve been underestimating the Eastern servers combat forces, Grumpyteen thought as his heart sank.

Players would eventually end up at the same level because there was always a level cap in a game, similar to how those on the Western server were stuck on Level 45 not too long ago. For this reason, Grumpyteen placed his emphasis on class, combat technique, and inheritances. The young man standing before him was strong in all three departments.

Drako Yau ventured into the enemy lines with Fong Sai Yuk keeping Grumpyteen occupied. The combo of Empyreal Dragon Step, Wandering, and Agility Scrolls granted him unrivalled speed. He was leading the charge at the very front; it almost felt like he was diving into a swarm of enemies alone.

Whos that!

Look at that mad lad! Kill him first!

The Western players went ahead to engage him as they shouted. Drako Yau thrust his spear, not to the front but instead to the ground. His trademark pole jump technique was in full displayhe launched himself into the air, then smashed his spear into the ground the moment he landed.

Boom!!!

A meteor crashed into the Wests army. It was the Godly Spearmaster skill, Flameblast! Players were blown away by the blast, but before they could recover, another massive flower of ice bloomed among their lines.

The Icy Flame skill tree was best suited for crowded situations because of its large area of effect. With his skills, Drako Yau tore apart the enemy frontlines to create an opening.

Chau Yu wasnt going to let the opportunity slide. He pointed his feather fan forwards and ordered, Full speed ahead!

Tripurity stumbled backwards in a sorry figure. He didnt conjure too many swords this time. Mystical Swords was best used for group battles, and having lots of swords in a duel wasnt as useful as expected. Putting his mind onto two different things simultaneously in battle was already a tough task, let alone thirty-six. He could only place simple commands such as attack and defend when all his swords were conjured, but swords controlled with such crude commands had little to no effect on masterful fighters.

Tripurity knew very well the pros and cons of his skill, so he only conjured three swords, the optimal amount of swords he could command. Two whizzed through the air while one was held in his hands.

But quantity wasnt always what mattered the most. The silver-haired man who wielded only two katanas was putting so much pressure on him that he could hardly get himself together.

Musashis wild personality directly influenced his combat style. Pure aggressiveness was his approach. An upward slash followed by a downward hackit was the skill Tiger Devour!

Guh Tripurity crossed his three swords to form a star and took on the skill.

Musashis agitation quickly dissolved into a wave of battle spirit. Although he couldnt fight the masked man, the current opponent was no weakling either, and that alone satisfied his appetite for intense fights.

The blocked katanas detached from the deadlock and spun along with MusashiDragon Spin! Musashi spun in circles like a coiling dragon as his katanas ravaged Tripurity.

I cant let this go on! Tripurity thought while barely parrying the storm of incoming attacks.

Musashi had set the tempo of the battle from the start and dragged Tripurity along with it. To win, Tripurity had to break free with all his might. Dragon Spin turned his robes into rags, but he didnt mind. What he now sought was strength and nothing else!

The moment Musashi stopped spinning, the two levitating wooden swords bolted toward him. He didnt care at all; the mystical swords had limited attack and could be easily blocked with a simple swing of his short katana.

Two gentle breezes brushed past Musashi. The two mystical swords were merely illusions and passed through his short katana without any resistance.

Mystical swords were fundamentally mystical existences, and so were illusions. Tripurity had always wielded one and only one sword. The mystical swords were projections of his sword through skills and were controlled by willpower. This time, he chose to conjure two mystical swords that were void of physical substances and couldnt inflict any damage.

Musashis eyes were the mystical swords targets, which forced him into blocking his vision out of defence. The moment of blindness was Tripuritys true goalhe would put an end to this fight himself.

By the time Musashi recovered his vision, Tripurity was already right before him. With a determined gaze, Tripurity held his sword with both hands and stepped forwards in a lunging stance. His legs were the hilt, his body was the blade, and the sword in his hand was the tip.

It was a magnificent sword, a magnificent thrust.
