Chapter 217: Amazing the Elders!

Chapter 217: Amazing the Elders!

It was confused as to how a mere E-rank bug is daring to step towards it and was able to remain calm in its presence. But it opened its jaw wide nonetheless and expressed its desire to eat Whittaker. Its eyes shined with a terrifying light. Instantly, a Draconic pressure spread out. But this time, Whittaker didn't felt anything.

He wasn't pressurized by the draconic pressure of the Water dragon. It is because he was using the authority of gravity, and the dragon was the one who felt pressurized as the gravity of the thirty-first floor acted on it.

Moreover, Whittaker blazed up with battle intent, and his intention to butcher the dragon was clearly shown in his inky, black eyes.

Gahhhhhhhhhhh!!! The dragon roared in anger. It was angry.

How dare a human mock it.

Whittaker flashed a smile towards it before Scarlet light flashed in his hand as dozens of Flame Wave talisman appeared in his hand. Then, he tossed them all out at the Water Dragon.

BAMMMMMMMM!!!!

"What is that? It seems familiar. Hmm, it's the starting point of the thirty-first floor." Whittaker had returned to Zachary Palace to give evidence of his deeds to Elder Zachary, but the scene on the Recording Crystal Left the old man and his sister with a shocked heart.

It could not be what they are thinking.

Yes, how can Whittaker reach the thirty-first floor in no time?

Or so they thought before the boy appeared in the recording and they saw him stepping towards a Young Water-Dragon.

The barrage of Fire Wave talismans thrown at the dragon created a flame so thick that it covered the entire surrounding, brightening the environment in a sea of flame. Against a powerful C-ranked enemy, the young talisman master used a sea of talisman to drown it in a world of pain. Seemingly, he made it impossible for the dragon to both dodge or survive this attack.

The dragon died a pitiful death.

"You really killed a Young Water Dragon But It has only been two weeks since you started climbing the Monster tower!" Elder Zachary said with an expression full of disbelief. He was unable to believe that Whittaker was able to reach the thirty-first floor in merely two weeks.

"As expected of my little brother, you are full of surprises," Nina added with a laugh of happiness.

"I couldn't wait to show this recording to the elder and amass a fortune!" Whittaker declared his honest thoughts to Elder Zachary in the presence of Elder sister Nina before he continued by saying: "Now that I have killed a water dragon, I am sure you'll keep your words and hand over the key of the Palace treasury to me and allow me to take a personal treasure from you!"

"Okay, I will give them to you, but first tell me how did you do it?" Elder Zachary was ready to hand over the important things to Whittaker but he was extremely curious about how Whittaker reached the thirty-first floor in two weeks when it should have taken it nearly two months according to his and Nina's calculations.

"I was lucky to come across this book." Whittaker flashed the Book of Monster Tower written by Elder Zachary himself to them. "I knew the secrets of the tower and challenged the test of floor-0. I successfully passed it and became a ruler and also earned the right to teleport to any one of the first ten floors. I choose to go to the tenth floor. I met with a mishap but was able to get out of the Evergreen Forest Maze pretty quickly. Taking a shortcut through the Scorpion-Kin desert, I arrived at the RedCliff City and obtained a quest to hunt down contestants killers. The rewards for this quest were pretty hefty. Although my persona Life Taker has offended the entire Blood Oracle Guild, I was able to get 20 Floor Skip Crystals. After defeating the tenth-floor boss and entering the Eleventh Floor, I used them to directly reach the thirty-first floor! The rest you already know"

With a smile on his face, Whittaker explained his unbelievable adventures to Elder Zachary and Nina also listened.

The Formation Spirit and Elder Zachary looked like they had swallowed a fly. By the end of his storytelling, they were not only impressed with Whittaker but also worried for his sake.

"Be careful not to interact with the Blood Oracle Guild too much. They are the underlings of the Demon Palace. They know curses and you might get targeted by them even if they don't know your true identity. Their cursive mages can place a curse on you through coming in contact with your Monster Tower persona." Nina explained to Whittaker with a stern tone. Her looks said it all. She wanted her little brother to stay out of life-threatening troubles. If he can not then the information she provided to him will be helpful.

Hearing her words, Whittaker understood that he will be in danger even if he is in the tower and his real-world identity is hidden. Curses were really dangerous.

"Sorry," Whittaker felt guilty as he looked into her eyes, he felt bad for making her worry and so he apologized before saying: "In the future, I will try to stay clear of them,"

"Haha, young friend. No need to do that. If someone dares to bully you and the others then you must give them an appropriate slap on the "FACE". Anyway, curses might seem all-powerful but if you have items and ways to fight them off then they are just useless words spewed out of the mouth of the cursive mages." Elder Zachary replied before he took out a Blue Icy Pendant and handed it over to Whittaker.

'This looks the same as the pendant of Night!' Whittaker thought as he held the Icy Pendant with mystical magical rune designs in his hand.

"This pendant belonged to the wife of the Ancient Water Emperor. She was a Devansha just like you. She gave me a task to give this pendant to a Devansha if I meet any. I wanted to give this pendant to you when I met you but never found a chance. Treasure it well as it is the key to the dungeon created by Ashley, located somewhere in the Land of Water."
