Gaming Sword Magician

Chapter 48: One Week.

Chapter 48: One Week.

Emma got over the embarrassment caused by Ding Long to take a better look at Whittaker. She thought, 'Holy shit, what did I saw! this young boy is going to become a lady killer when he grows up! Why don't my guild members look as good as him!'

The rest of the members also curiously stared down at the boy. In the entire Academy, except Grey, there was not a single ice-related mage whose potential exceeded D-rank. Grey, an S-ranked ice mage had outright refused to join them. This is why they wanted to rope in Whittaker, no matter what it takes.

Lin Dong forced the contract into Whittaker's hands. Under the hopeful eyes of the guild members, Whittaker didn't or couldn't decline the offer.

The best time to seduce someone with a very high potential into a Guild was when they were at their weakest. Whittaker had the potential to become an A-ranked Frost mage. Due to his potential, Lin Doing wanted to rope him in.

"A Legacy member receives a lot of benefits from the Guild, every month. The guild will go its best to help the legacy member in their growth. We will provide a lot of resources necessary for that purpose. If you become a legacy member then we will hand out 100 Platinum bar, 5 Mana increasing Potions, and a magical ice-related book of your choosing."

Lin Dong held utmost confidence that Whittaker won't refuse this offer as it was a once in a lifetime offer.

"Wait a second," Whittaker replied. He snatched Shadow by wrapping his hand around his neck and turned around, he whispered, "Is what he saying the truth?"

Whittaker couldn't believe that these weird senior students have such a massive and impressive guild, first impression matters, especially for a country bumkin like Whittaker, who was weirded out by the childish Ding Long.

In reply, Shadow simply nods his head, "Yeah!"

While his eyes shouted "No". He wanted to denounce the entire Azure Dragon tooth guild, but they stood right behind him, hence Shadow didn't say anything more.

The guild had created a lot of mess since their creation. Destroying harbors was an everyday accident, and looting aristocrats and donating money to the commoners was their sub-profession. These guys weren't dungeon hunter but troublemakers.

That's why Shadow does his best to keep away from them.

Whittaker didn't get his eye signal, as he was deeply complementing about this matter.

Soon after, he turned around to give his reply, "I will need some time to make my decision."

Internally Lin Dong sighed, but externally he replied with a smile, "No problem, you can take your time, but the contract will be valid for only one week."

"Okay, then before next weekend, I will hand out my response," Whittaker stored the contact paper in his hunter's ring.

He wanted to make a decision after finding out about what other options he has. For that reason, he had decided to head towards the Royal Library after talking with Headmaster Yeon.

"Let's exchange our contact information." Lin Dong took out his mana com, and Whittaker followed.

The mana com scanned each other, and Lin Dong's number was added to his mana com. Now, Whittaker could easily call out to him whenever he wants to.

"Well then, we will take our leave. Take care Whittaker, Shadow."

Saying that, the members of the Azure Dragon tooth Guild left, well, except one.

Smited by his looks, Emma didn't follow her guildmates.

"Little handsome, would you like to exchange contact information with me?" Emma said, her bulging muscles were enough to scare Whittaker into Submission.

He finally realized the horror his sister has to face every day! How can a woman be so thick! he thought innocently.

"Young friend, Please ignore her!" Her brother said while turning Emma's face around. Then he pulled her along, taking her out of the Quest Hall.

Outside they teamed up with Ding Long, who stood behind a tree, in case, Elder Farhan chases him down to beat the shit out of him, as even he knew that he deserved a beating.

Lin Dong told everything to him, then they went to their Guild Hall!

Left behind were Shadow and Whittaker, who after exchanging information went on their way.

Shadow took towards the training ground number 36 of the Academy. While Whittaker went to the main-Academy building to meet Headmaster Yeon.

For the past few days, Shadow had been trying to learn the posture in his A-ranked skill book. Yesterday, he had mastered one posture. Today, he wanted to start performing it to hasten the growth rate.

Shadow reached the vacant forest ground. He knew that nobody uses training ground no.36 as an accident had occurred here.

Students say that this place is haunted by a ghost!

Shadow didn't fear ghosts, rather he was on friendly terms with them, hence he didn't mind training in this place.

He didn't want to expose this posture to anyone, after all, it was a treasure granted to him by Master Ze!

Shadow performed the posture and he started to create 1 battle energy every hour.

On the other hand, Whittaker entered the Academy main-building!
