Global Awakening: Apocalypse Ender's Chronicle

Chapter 136: Reinforcement

In the small confines of the stall, Shane's attention was captured by an assortment of artifacts, each with its own aura of mystery. There weren't actually a lot of items being sold.

The first thing that caught his eye was an amulet with five copies of it. It was a delicate charm with a luminous fragment of what was described as soulstone at its core, set in twisted silver that seemed to pulse with life.

[ Soulstone Shard Amulet: This amulet contains a fragment of a powerful soulstone, imbued with ancient sorcery. The shard resonates with the user's spirit, enhancing their abilities and granting protection against disease and curses.

Effects: +1,000 Spirit Points, +30% Soul Protection

Minimum Bid: 1,000 Points ]

"One thousand points for a minimum bid?" Shane frowned at the relatively high price, but seeing that it could increase the Survivor's Spirit Points by a thousand, that's definitely incredible!

Furthermore, it doesn't feel like there would be other people entering this shop, so the minimum bid was most likely the purchasing price of this item as well.

Shane took a deep breath as he already felt inclined to bid on this item.

However, the fact that he could only bid on one item made him stop for a moment.

The next item he saw was a dozen of pocket watches. The intricate pocket watch was made of a strange alloy, its hands moving in a seemingly erratic pattern that felt as if it defied the flow of time.

[ Loot Keeper's Timepiece: Crafted by an unknown being, this timepiece allows the wielder to manipulate the loot you'll get from the Zombies!

Effects: 5 Times Loot ( Once per day )

Minimum Bid: 1,500 Points ]

"What?" Shane's eyes widened as he saw the description.

He could do a five times loot once per day! Perhaps, to other Survivors, this wasn't too big of a deal since it would only help them loot a few more times in a day.

However, for Shane, who possessed the Complete Loot Talent, this item was certainly a big deal!

After all, if he had this item when he killed the Giant Zombie, then he would have ten Spirit Breakthrough Potion, five Giant's Heart, five Giant's Hide, and five Titan's Elixir!

That was definitely a huge achievement!

"This is too amazing… Can't you let me buy more than one item?" Shane asked the keeper.

"That's the rule of this shop, young man. You should be satisfied that you could get even one of these precious items." The keeper said as he shook his head at Shane's question.

Shane already expected this reply but he still sighed after hearing the answer.

Anyway, he could only continue looking at the displayed items.

He also saw a few cloaks hanged at the side of the stall.

The cloak seemed to shimmer at a certain angle, showing that its fabric wasn't normal at all. Furthermore, Shane could tell that it could most likely blend into the surroundings once fully used.

[ Ethereal Cloak of Shadows: Woven from the essence of the night itself, this cloak grants the wearer the power of near-invisibility, making them a whisper in the darkness.

Effects: +25% Stealth, +10% Movement Speed

Special Effects:

Perfect Shadowmeld: When activated, the wearer fades into the shadows, becoming undetectable to the naked eye until the used Spirit Points disappear.

Cost: 1 Spirit Points per second

Minimum Bid: 1,500 Points ]

Shane's eyes lit up after seeing this. It must be remembered that he currently had a Lesser Shadowmeld Skill he could use with the help of his Shroud of Shadow's Cape, an item he looted from the Crypt Crawler Zombies.

The Lesser Shadowmeld only works perfectly when used in a stationary state. However, the Perfect Shadowmeld of this cloak could work even while moving and it only costs 1 Spirit Points per second! It was definitely a bargain! m|v|l|e m|p|y|r original content

"What should I do… All of these items are perfect!" Shane sighed as he really wanted to purchase all these items. They were simply too good! They're certainly a lot better than most of the items sold in the Grand Auction Hall!

Anyway, there were two other items that caught Shane attention.

There was a pair of gauntlets, each inlaid with engravings he had no idea how to read, and the metal they had was glowing faintly under his observation.

[ Gauntlets of Titan Strength: Forged from a mysterious meteorite, these gauntlets bestow upon the bearer the legendary might of the titans, allowing them to shatter obstacles with ease.

Effects: +70% Physical Strength

Special Effects:

Unbreakable Grip: When activated, the wearer will have the gripping power of a titan.

Cost: 5 Spirit Points per second

Minimum Bid: 1,900 Points ]

Finally, there was a clear crystal orb that seems to contain swirling mists within… It was quite interesting to watch.

Shane immediately checked its description as he was curious whether this crystal orb was some sort of witch's item that they would use to guess the future or fate of their targets.

As soon as he read it note on it, he couldn't help but smile as he was indeed correct!

[ Oracle's Crystal Orb: Once belonging to an ancient seer, this orb reveals glimpses of the future, offering guidance and insight to those who dare to peer into its depths.

Special Effects:

Foresight: Once activated, the crystal reveals hints of future dangers.

Cost: 1,000 Spirit Points per use. ]

Minimum Bid: 3,500 Points ]

"This is too ambiguous…" Shane muttered as he decided not to purchase this orb.

The stall keeper watched with a gleam in their eye as Shane deliberated.

Once again, he reminded his customer.

"Choose wisely, young man…" He intoned. "For each artifact carries a destiny of its own."

However, at this time, Shane wasn't listening to him.

Instead, he had already opened his Chat Board and as he found the names of his clan members, he immediately started sending them a message!

[ Shane: Everyone, can you see me on your map? Can you try to go to my place? I'll explain more once you arrive here. ]
