Chapter 59 The Beginning Of The End
Outside the broken world, six winged beings stood in the space as they observed the broken world below. These were the six Arkmenians Patrick sent to repay him by eliminating the demons. However, instead of heading to the southern continent, they appeared outside the broken world and spectated the scenes. They heard the booming sound as they saw billions of both demons and humans falling from the skies.
Akrom, the leading Arkmenian, floated before the group as their wings spread wide authoritatively. The six beings hovered in the starry space unaffected by the lack of oxygen as their bodies were independent of worldly properties. One could even see heavenly Qi revolving around their bodies and wings as it caused the space to have slight cracks.
"Brother Arkrom, we promised to repay that man by eliminating the demons. So why are we here?"
One of the floating Arkmenians spoke as his words reached the others. But the others didn't react as they looked at Arkrom for his reply. They knew that Arkrom and the man earlier had spoken about them eliminating the demons as a form of showing their gratitude, but seeing that Arkrom didn't lead them directly to the southern continent, they also agreed with the question as they had curious expressions.
"We the Arkmenians are only subservient to the Immortal Gate and are forbidden from interfering in the affairs of the lower realms, even if that means going against our promises and moral beliefs. As for that man, I know he must possess some level of strength or a divine treasure for him to defeat the Hua family warriors so easily, and the fact that he can speak our language puts him in an even suspicious light."
"Are you saying there is more to that human man?" Another Arkmenian asked as the group became intrigued.
"Yes, as he might be an even stronger entity than what we can imagine. His presence alone was capable of bringing billions of cultivators to their knees despite having millions and thousands of full immortals and even a True Immortal. That demon should be equivalent to a Star entity, as even I cant sense his spirit Qi, but even he was flattened down."
"If what you are saying is true, then doesn't that mean we have to fight him and the Sacred families as their appearances in the lower realms is a violation of the Sacred Order?" One of the men spoke as tension began spreading among the beings. If Arkrom's guesses are true, then it means they will have to fight the Sacred families who now possess crystals capable of draining their strengths. And the presence of this unknown man has brought even more trouble as they are obligated to fight him; otherwise, they will be going against their orders.
"Forget that for now; let's see how the events progress."
In the atmosphere of the broken world, Patrick's figure hovered in the sky as the billions of cultivators stared at him. The kneeling cultivators gazed at Patrick as they had different expressions. While some had shocked, bewildered, panicked, and despairing faces, others had vibrant, calm, happy, and hopeful expressions, as some even smiled. One of the groups smiling was the Ju guardians and their arrived group, while the other was the Space Sword Immortal.
One would think these people were crazy for smiling at their destruction, but what one might fail to understand is that they all had reasonable viewpoints and comprehensions. For the group of Ju Guardians they smiled with comfort because of young master Alex. Him, suppressing the entirety of powerful cultivators and demons with his Qi presence alone despite their cultivation realms, confirmed that the humans would win this time as young master Alex would participate. The Space Sword Immortal also smiled as the four men looked at him in bewilderment, not knowing why he was so happy.
Suddenly, the humans and demons felt the devastating pressure instantly vanish as they took control of their bodies. The strong cultivators from other continents saw their destroyed space crafts and weakened flying beasts as they lay flat on the ground. Although most were angry about their destroyed possessions, they calmed themselves as they didn't dare complain. The arrival presence of this being alone sent the whole broken world down their knees, who would dare face him about some insignificant treasure or beast.
With the pressure gone, the demons were also relieved as they slowly rose from the ground. But among the demons, an ominous demonic Qi began rising as it caused the nearby demons to shudder in fear, with the weaker demons instantly dying as they fell on the ground in thousands. The apocalyptic demonic energy rose from the demon god himself; Yaotzin stood in the middle of his army as his demonic energy slowly burst out in screams.
"Haaaa! Fuck ruling this pathetic realm; I will just wipe it from existence! ATTACK!"
(Readers, Exaggerate your imaginations to the absolute limit to enjoy the battle)
With Yaotzin's command, the billions of demons instantly assumed murdering and maniacal expressions as their eyes turned red; the red eyes of the demons caused the area around them to turn red as they began launching at the human cultivators. Some demons flew and had fast speeds than the others as they speedily dashed at the cultivators. The mountain wolves now sum over millions as their gigantic bodies rushed to attack.
TREMBLE!
The space of the broken world heavily trembled due to the demons' overwhelming rushing weight and speed. Some demons even bent the space as their speeds surpassed the base speeds of humans by hundred folds. The rushing demons caused the broken world to tilt to the south.
The human cultivators saw the rushing demons as they ignored the being hovering in the air, their Qis bursting out as the sky of the southern continent lit with vibrant Qi energies. Multiple sects and factions began activating their formations as they formed their respective cultivation seals. The Space Sword Immortal and the other four men saw the incoming demons; they immediately began activating their cultivation techniques as they had different domineering appearances.
The Heavenly Sun Race stood in formation as they also stopped staring at the floating Patrick. The next instant, the hundreds of thousands of dark-skinned race beings began emitting sunrays as the sun symbols on their bodies magically lit up. The desert sand below them melted as their bodies began floating in the air. As if given an order, the hundred-plus thousand Heavenly Sun Race beings launched at the demons as their magically lit bodies produced sunlight bright enough to shine on the desert as if it was the sun itself.
The scene was too incredulous for one to describe as the clash of two different races was too magnificent yet scary. On one rushing side were the demons with their demon god staying behind and looking at the floating figure. While on the other side were the humans with their millions of sects' formations and seals dashing at the demons. But one thing both sides had in common was the billions of beings speedily rushing at each other.
TREMBLE! BOOOOOM!
A loud crashing sound reverberated in the space above the southern continent as it caused the world to tilt even further to the south. The demons and humans finally clashed as their activated cultivation techniques caused bright lights. Some humans easily killed the weaker demons as they advanced into the demon clusters.
Likewise, some demons easily made their way into the billions of humans as they instantly wiped out the humans within their radiuses. Heads began flying in the air as blood sprayed; both demons and humans engaged in an indescribable battle as millions of skills activated from both sides.
"Sky Sword Sect, activate the Sky Sword annihilation formation."
"Dragon Sect, ..." "Tiger Sect, ..." "Dual Sect, ...."
Numerous sects from various continents shouted as they activated their sealing and killing formations. The sky was filled with countless formations as swords, fire, ice, lightning, and many other cultivated formations produced devastating attacks on the demons, killing millions of demons while sometimes affecting the humans.
The Space Sword Immortal and his group of five easily strolled through the demons as they killed them in hundreds and even thousands. The fat man used his body as he rolled over the demons, squashing them in the process. The man with the beast's clothing laughed as his massive body threw punches over punches; the demons before him were nothing but ants as he killed over three thousand horned wild humanoid dogs with a single punch.
The man with the crystal and disheveled hair pointed his finger at a group of demons as they instantly burst from within. And lastly, the man with the dancing lighting in his eyes had the scariest method as he flashed through the demons, ripping their hearts and shoving them in their mouths. White lightning sparks all over his body as he resembled a lightning god.
Another indescribable event was happening on another side of the desert as over a hundred thousand dark-skinned beings faced millions of mountain-like wolves. The Heavenly Sun Race eradicated the millions of mountain wolves within minutes as they began massacring the other demons. Drucius' father and uncle became the best duo as they punched the demons in hundreds of thousands; blood and dissipated bodies flew in the air as they continued their advance.
The demon God, Yaotzin, watched as his billions of demons were being massacred; his mountain wolves continued regenerating but were met with attacks faster than their regeneration. Yet, despite the destruction of his army, the demon god still had an unbothered expression as he glanced at the only being hovering in the void. His caution was only directed towards this person as he never expected a punny broken realm to have such an expert.
"Huh?" Yaotzin noticed something as he looked at the space outside the broken world; he had an annoyed frown as he spoke as if to someone or something. "What are you dogs doing here?"
In the starry space outside the broken world, Arkrom and his fellow Arkmenians watched the clash of billions of humans and demons as they saw the various individuals executing their cultivated techniques. But while spectating, one of the Arkmenians saw Yaotzin as he looked for a second, but before he could take his eyes from him, Yaotzin looked at him as they met gazes. Arkrom and his floating brothers were spectating when the ravaging words of " What are you dogs doing here?" resounded in their ears."
"Heavenly Sun technique, Sun blast!"
Yaotzin was about to head for the Arkmenians when suddenly, a roar more resonant than the entire billions of cultivators resounded in the entire southern continent; solar energy began gathering at the palms of the Sun Race beings as it caused their area to shine brightly. The surrounding billions of cultivators noticed the change of Qi in the surroundings as it drew their attention; they saw an energy ball gathering at the palms of hundreds of thousands of dark-skinned humans as they screamed 'Sun blast.'
SHOOM!
Hundreds of thousands of sun energy blasts were sent at the incoming demons by the Sun clan as this time, the sun blast destroyed the whole side of the ground of the southern continent, wiping out the lesser demons of Yaotzin's army. The scene was terrifying yet refreshing as billions of demons burned under the extreme blasts of solar energy. Half the desert was burnt away as a massive crater appeared where the demons were, heat rising from the ground as the surroundings became quiet.
The surrounding cultivators witnessed the eradication of half the demon army as they looked at these groups of beings with reverence and respect. If the war continued at this rate, the humans would win without a doubt.
Patrick hovered in the air as he witnessed the deaths of both humans and demons, the executed skills of the cultivators and demons made the desert more dazzling as the lights brightly shone in his eyes. Patrick had his hands behind his back as he looked at the war below with an amused expression; Grace's voice sounded.
"Master, the Arkmenians didn't fulfill their promise."
"I expected this result anyway. Grace, run a diagnosis of the Qi pollution."
"Diagnosis complete. Qi pollution is currently at 89.5% and rising. Estimated time before full pollution; Five hours, that's if he doesn't increase the demonic Qi. And Master, the cultivators of the eastern continent are descending in 0.69 seconds."
With the completion of Grace's sentence, over two hundred million cultivators began descending from the floating Eastern continent as they flashed past Patrick. Patrick saw the majestic robes of the sect leaders as their representatives wore the same during the banquet. The Heavenly Rain Sect, Moonflower Sect, Sun Blaze Sect, Puppet Sect, and Beast Sect all rushed down while ignoring Patrick; some even didn't see him as their attentions were on the battlefield.
"The Eastern continent is here?"
The sect leader of the Heavenly Rain Sect loudly spoke, but before he could finish his sentence, he and the millions of eastern cultivators saw half of the desert obliterated as heat steamed from the ground. They saw the group of Heavenly Sun Clan and the other cultivators as they stood facing the remaining half of the demon army. But some cultivators below were able to notice their arrival as someone even cheered and shouted,
"Look, the Eastern cultivators are here."
"Yes, now the demons have no chance of winning."
"But, what about the group of men earlier? Arent they also from the eastern continent? And also, who is that floating in the air?"
While some cultivators cheered, a leader of an influential sect from the Nothern continent spoke as he drew the attention of the surrounding cultivators. They looked up as they saw the same person whose overwhelming presence still lingers in their minds as he hovered in the sky while having his hands behind his back. The arrived Eastern cultivators saw the now reduced billions of humans staring at them as some empires even began portraying elegant demeanor, behaving as if these people must be amazed by their Eastern continent.
But after a few moments, a lady clad in extreme white robes while a veil covering her face noticed that the humans below were looking at something above them. Tracing the cultivators' view, she turned and saw Patrick in the sky hovering over them. "Who is that?"
The lady asked as the arrived group looked up; they saw a man in a luxurious black shirt and trousers with a long fluffy white coat covering him. His demeanor remained untainted as his beauty exceeded most of the arrived women from the Moonflower Sect. But just when they were busy observing this hovering figure, billowing waves of laughter sounded in the distance as it drew everyone's attention.
"Hahahahaha, do you humans truly believe you have won?....... Do you truly think that wiping half my army will guarantee you victory? .......How pathetic!.... after twenty thousand years, you foolish humans still haven't learned a THING! Let me show you what TRUE DESPAIR IS!"
Yaotzin spoke as his body began floating; the enormous portal he arrived from began expanding as demonic energy more sinister than before started leaking from it. He spoke with arms spread as his voice resounded in the entire broken world; even the Arkmenians floating in the space above the broken world heard his words. The more he spoke, the closer he came to the portal.
"Master, the pollution of the broken world is rapidly increasing. 89.9%....90....91.3....95.05...98.5...100%. Demonic Qi pollution of the broken world finished."
Grace's voice calmly sounded. But the next moment, a word reverberated with power and regality in the broken world. One word seemed small, yet this one word will be the cause of billions of deaths. The gathering cultivators stood as they watched Yaotzin hovering next to the now indescribable gigantic portal that even reached the outer space of the broken world. Demonic energy flowed into his body as he uttered a word.
"ARISE."
