Gravity Mage with Level-Up System

Rex and other Shadow Skull Wizards are searching for the whereabouts of Cory Anderson. They don't have an idea that their target has already sought the help from the Black Market's Protector.

Time passed,

I finally reached the black market after some time. I covered my face with a mask out of caution. Then I approached the place slowly.

When I got closer to the entrance. There are 2 masked wizards standing in front of the entrance.

I showed them the token when I saw them. They let me inside after making sure everything was correct.

I eventually emerged on the other side of the invisible barrier after passing through it.

"Where is she?" I asked myself.

She said she knows people here. Then I started to look for her in the Black Market. At first, no one was disturbed by my movements.

As the time passed, the stall owners began to notice something. They thought someone was acting suspiciously inside the Black Market.

So they immediately reported it to the Security Guard. A masked wizard soon arrived to have a closer look. He noticed the individual had on a mask. However, he was unable to assess the masked wizard's power.

"What are you doing?" He asked.

The other hand, I turned toward the Wizard. I noticed that everybody was staring at me strangely.

"They perceive me as a troublemaker," I told myself.

"Here, I am trying to find my boss. She told me she would be here," I answered.

A quick gleam flashes in the guard's eyes.

He knows that the Young Miss of the Purple Chamber of Commerce came here.

"Are you looking for Lady Cory Anderson?" he asked.

When I hear that, I am in shock.

The next instant, I said, "Yes."

Then he asked for my identity. I showed him the Identity Card of Appraiser.

After checking it, the masked wizard revealed the news to me.

A few minutes later,

I thanked the guard before leaving the place. I sent a message to Lady Cory from a remote location after leaving the black market.

The Guard didn't explain much. But he said that Lady Cory has left with the Black Market Protector. I guess the Protector of the Black Market might be a level-9 or level-10 Wizard.

"If my hypothesis is correct, she is already on her way home," I muttered to myself.

But her departure left me with no other choice. I came back to square one. I had hoped to spend a few months quietly here.

But her attackers had disturbed the steady and quiet life of mine.

When I'm wondering, the communication watch lit with the notification.

I turned my attention to the message. Then I realized it was a message from Cory Anderson.

[Ethan Brown, I am heading home. The security of the Purple City has been compromised. I believe that some business families are involved.]

They are the same people who attacked the purple city and their leader is after Cory Anderson. But their leader was not here at this moment.

Looking at the numbers, I have realized their team has been divided into teams.

"You there, have you seen this woman passing by here?" One of the Shadow Skull Wizard asked.

Hearing that I looked at the image on his communication watch screen. It's the exact image of Cory Anderson. Now I had no doubt about their identity.

"Do you recognize me?" The Wizard asked again.

"No, I haven't seen anyone. Here, I am waiting for my friend," I answered

The Shadow Skill Wizards looked at each other.

A hint of greed flashes in their eyes.

Whenever they encounter a lone wizard. They would plunder him. This time it was no different.

"Give us your storage bracelet. We will spare your lives," One of them said.

Hearing that the rest of the wizards have understood as well. Whatever they would plunder. Then they would divide among them later.

"Yes, remove your storage bracelet,' The burly wizard said.

Hearing that my eyes turned cold. I had decided not to expose myself. I guess I don't have any choice right now.

"Don't waste any more time, kill him. The leader must be waiting for us," The Burly Wizard shouted.

Looking at their disgusting attitude. I cast the magic spell.

"Gravity Domain"

The next second, a black sphere appeared and engulfed four of them. The Shadow Skull Wizards' face is written with horror. They don't know what is happening around them.

Before they could realize, a terrific gravitational force descended on them. It was the 3rd Stage Magic Spell. The Shadow Skull Wizards are terrified.

"What kind of spell is this?" The Burly Wizard exclaimed in fear.

Crack!

The next second, a crack started to appear on their body. They weren't able to utter a word. In the blink of an eye, the cracks started to widen. Under their horrified expression, their whole body shattered into pieces.

The ground was dyed red. In the blink of an eye, a pool of blood was formed.

Seeing that I canceled the spell and looked at the ground. There was no sign of body parts on the ground. Everything was turned into minced meat.

Not only that, their storage bracelets were destroyed as well.

Then I decided to leave.

A few hours later,

During the nightfall, I came to another remote spot close to the border.

After appearing inside the Gregor Mansion, I went to refresh myself.

20 minutes later,

I changed to casual clothes and laid down on the bed.

Today was a disappointing day. I had left with no choice other than to leave the Lawless Country. There are other big cities in the Lawless Country.

But they are either under Black Faction or Some Families. It's hard to find another neutral city like Purple City.

Sigh!

A huge sigh escaped from my mouth.
