Greatest Streamer System

Chapter 253: Chapter 253 – Meanwhile, in Another Forum

A few minutes after the tournament ended, a thread appeared in Midnight Heist's community forum.

[Breeze vs Puppeteer! A fierce battle in Midnight Heist's Tier 2 Final!]

The thread was popular enough that it got more than 500 activities in less than an hour. While waiting for the Tier 1 tournament, all of Midnight Heist's fans talked about the final of Tier 2.

Many clips and videos of exciting moments were posted on the thread.

— I know that Breeze is a new synchronization test world record holder, but… This guy is nuts. How could he go against Puppeteer like that?

└ Right?! Puppeteer is a really good player. Like, really good

└ True. Their experiences are also different. Breeze played only for a while if compared to Puppeteer, and still he is able to hold his ground.

└ The final score is 8-7-1-0-0, right? If we count over time. Goddamn, both of them dominated the tournament.

— I thought Breeze was just lucky to get the world record and was still skeptical before the tournament. But this changed my mind! THE DUDE IS COOKING!

— Dear HATERS, where are you? Not even one person said Breeze is lucky!

└ Maybe they will if Breeze gets first place lol. But he only got second place, so the haters are gone.

└ Puppeteer's fans aren't attacking Breeze anymore because their idol won kekekeke

└ THEY ARE SCARED OF BLOOD GOD! I want to watch him swing the axe again. Preferably to his haters.

— Look and behold. [AttachedClip.mp4] [AttachedVideo.mp4] [AttachedLink]

└ My dude promotes Breeze lol

└ Good stuff. I can't help but love the first clip where he got chased after by wolves in Knight's Journey

└ His sniping skill has become better, for sure. Unfortunately, the tranquilizer gun in the final just sucks. It's too slow for someone like Breeze and Puppeteer!

— Give Breeze a year and he will dominate the scene!

└ Nah, 6 months are enough

└ I think 3 months are enough. He only played Midnight Heist for 3 weeks and almost beat Puppeteer lol

└ Give him only a month. I believe he will be the best Tier 1 player!

— Let me add some clips! [AttachedClip.mp4] [AttachedClip.mp4] [AttachedLink]. They are my favorite ones.

The threads invited many of Max's fans. They were both proud of him and showed him off by adding some clips of his Midnight Heist's play in a different game.

Just as one of the comments had said, not one hater could be seen. They had nothing to say regarding the game. Of course, that was only the case in this thread. There were countless small threads filled with those haters, calling Max lucky and overrated.

No one cared about that. What was important for people was that he scored 7 times against Puppeteer and dominated the game while the other players could do nothing. That was already an achievement, as Puppeteer was unquestionably the best player in Midnight Heist since season 1.

And thus, the day passed with people trying to defend their favorite streamer until the Tier 1 tournament started. Only then did the topic change with a new thread popping up.

[ImperialPrince decimated the Tier 1 tournament!]

***

Max spent an entire day reflecting on himself. After looking back at his life, he found many things that he… was ashamed of. He listed them on a small note and promised not to repeat them again. On the top of the list was underestimating his enemy. He shouldn't be arrogant unless it was for show.

Rising from his bed, he felt better than usual. There were two reasons. Firstly, the tournament was finally over, and he could finally focus on helping Flexy with Roach Planet. Secondly…

"My money is in! Woohoo!!"

The reward money had been sent to his bank account. An email had confirmed it already.

After his self-reflection yesterday, Max still loved money. No matter what, this wouldn't change. The fact he just got 25 grand made his mood way better.

"Now, now… That makes my money in my bank around 47 grand. But that won't be enough to buy a house. I should save more." He hummed in happiness as he went through his message.

There were many messages from his friends congratulating him. All of them were sent yesterday, but Max hadn't realized it. Still, he replied to them now before stopping at Mr. Taka's message.

On top of a congratulation, there was another message.

[Mr. Taka: We have chosen an employee who will act as your manager and assistant for everything related to Biozone Entertainment's ad and program. You're pretty familiar with him. His name is Michael Lamb, and this is his contact information. Please do contact him soon.]

Reading the message, Max's lips curled up. Michael, huh? He remembered the man. He was pretty expressionless, but his job was great, and he assisted him greatly in NoFeet's ad.

[Breeze: Thank you very much, Mr. Taka. My apologies for the late reply. I had a self-reflection yesterday. And I will contact Michael soon.]

There was no reply from Mr. Taka even after a minute, which was understandable. The man was pretty busy, as he was now a Marketing Team Manager and needed to oversee everything. So, he decided to contact Michael to introduce himself and talk a little.

[Breeze: Good morning, Michael. This is Breeze. I am glad that you accepted the position of my assistant. I am looking forward to working with you.]

Unlike Mr. Taka, Michael answered almost immediately.

[Michael: Likewise. I am looking forward to working with you.]

On top of that, he sent another message.

[Michael: Currently, I am looking through any possible ad offer that you can take. Please tell me what kind of job you want to accept and refuse. I will do my best to meet your expectations.]

Max hummed once again. What kind of job did he want to accept and refuse? Actually, as long as the money was worth it, he was willing to accept any job.

Modeling for a brand? That was fine. Shooting a video? That was also fine—he had done it before. The best one would be promoting the brand on his livestream. A shoutout usually would give him more than 10 grand, which was in his past life.

It could be more here.

Would there be a strange job that he didn't want to do?

"Ah, there is that job." He nodded as he remembered one strange job that many people avoid.

[Breeze: As long as it's not a gravure and the job won't ruin my reputation, I am fine with whatever. But please don't choose video shooting unless it's worth the pay or is important to grow my channel. Something like a NoFeet ad video is still okay.]

He nodded in satisfaction as he replied to Michael.

[Michael: Understood. I have considered your opinion. I will return to inform you with a list soon.]

[Breeze: Thank you, Michael.]

That was pretty easy and professional. A bit stiff, but Michael probably was a good person with a great work ethic.

"I am lucky," Max said as he looked out of the window. "Well, the weather is nice. Why don't I do an IRL stream today as a change of pace?"

Just as he said that…

Ding!

Another message came. Max opened his message application and noticed it was from a group chat Flexy made for the OrangeSquash team.

[Flexy: This message is sent to my lovely teammates! I have scheduled the Scrimmage tomorrow night. Can we talk about it tonight at 7 PM in New Eden City? Please reply if you are able to meet up. The location is at Au Café. The coordinate: xxx.xxxx.xx.]
