Chapter 63: ... Police?
Kyle didn't know what the police were doing here but it would be suspicious if he were the one that answered the door.
Kyle knew they couldn't break in without a warrant and quickly tip-toed back to Calista, how awkward would it be if she took her last breath?
How would he even explain the situation? Calista died because she couldn't handle his cock?
That sounds absurd to the point that even Kyle wouldn't believe himself.
But a sigh of relief escaped his lips, he confirmed that Calista was still breathing. There was no telling what awaited him, but he wondered if she was the one who had called the police.
It would make no sense for her to do so unless all of this were a set-up.
The current situation didn't look good and if they were to see her state, she could easily act as an abuse victim and with the signed document not in his possession, all he had were his words.
"The fuck?" Kyle thought. The doorbell rang a couple of times before they gave up.
Kyle wanted to get the hell out of there but he noticed that the police were loitering around.
They didn't leave but another patrol car instead joined them.
At that moment, he realized he had to wake Calista up, he rushed to her side and shook her awake.
She was drooling, in another world, and it took her a minute or two to recalibrate with Kyle waiting for her to go through the motion.
"... Kyle?" Calista muttered, rubbing her eyes.
"You have a guest," Kyle informed her but the look of surprise on her face showed that she wasn't expecting anyone.
"I wonder who it could be?" Calista thought to herself but Kyle didn't care about this.
She was an actress so this could all be an act even though she was a shitty one.
Calista walked to the door and Kyle remained out of sight, already searching for a way out in case things go haywire.
He wasn't about to be caught missing even though his car was parked right in front of her house but there was a high chance that they would think this was Calista's car.
After all, there was a Lamborghini parked right there, this couldn't be a coincidence.
Kyle leaned in, trying his best to eavesdrop and hear what she was discussing with the police officer but to no avail.
"What are they talking about?" He thought but in his attempt to find out, he made more noise than he would have liked.
Calista looked back before returning her attention to Kyle, he didn't know what to make of this and realized that he might have been had.
Kyle instantly thought about initiating his escape plan but the door shut prompting Kyle to peek one last time.
All he saw was Calista walking towards him, there were no cops around her.
"Babe, you wouldn't believe what I just saw," Calista said but Kyle was beginning to realize that she thought that they were in a relationship because why the fuck was she calling him babe?
It made his skin crawl but there was nothing that could be done at this point. In time and decided to be oblivious.
"Who or what?" Kyle asked, feigning interest but what interested him was why the police came here.
"The police, they thought I was in danger. Someone called them," Calista said amid laughter. She wasn't done and Kyle waited for her to land the punchline.
"It was because I was screaming…That's what that meat of yours does to me," Calista chuckled and Kyle just shook his head with a smile plastered across his face.
Of course, they would call the police but this told him something, if it was a usual occurrence.
Then her neighbours wouldn't have called the police as they would know what kind of timing she was on so this wasn't something she usually did.
"Interesting…" Kyle thought to himself, it was ridiculous but he was done here.
He wanted to go and see how the construction of his nightclub was going and with the upgrade of his system.
He ate something at her place before ultimately leaving the area, there was no reason to stay any longer and Calista knew he had work to do but before Kyle left, he needed to say.

"You know, Calista. I never thought we'd reach this far but I'm glad we met," Kyle fed her fantasy of a relationship but he didn't expect anything from her.
This experience was another reminder of why he needed to keep Calista, she would help him make up for his lack of sexual experience.
This was an invaluable tool if he was going to keep the women in his harem faithful to him.
-
Kyle knew that with available harem slots, he had to be careful because there was no telling who would be inscribed into it.
The last thing he needed was another Calista situation where he had no control over who entered his harem.
Kyle hit the gas pedal and arrived at the construction site in no time, partly expecting the workers to either be slacking off or taking a break but they were working just as hard as he had left them.
He noticed that the store had already begun its altering stage and Kyle was content with what he saw.
"You're back?" Collins said. Kyle looked over his shoulder and saw that he was drenched in sweat.
He wasn't just observing the workers, he was partaking in the construction, something he didn't need to do.
"Damn, I need to hit the gym," Kyle thought the moment he saw Collins' muscles glistening in sweat, he needed to get not just his money up but his physical body as well.
"You guys work fast…" Kyle said and Collins chuckled at this compliment.
"We do and at this rate, you should have your nightclub in a week because my boys are eager to get this work done with. It has been a while since they have had a project this big," Collins responded.
"If you do a good job, I would be more than willing to pay extra fees to show my appreciation," Kyle encouraged him, this was to dissuade him from cutting corners.
And that would be enough for Collins even if he was going to do a good job regardless of this offer because he knew the power of referral.
