I Created a World of Magic!

Chapter 25

Chapter 25: The Talented Girl with Magic

After the meal, Anthony invited Charlot to the living room for a chat.

As for Nancy, she was busy cleaning the kitchen, after which she took Tina to play in the toy room.

“Charlot, would you like coffee or tea?”

“Tea!”

“Okay, wait a moment.”

Anthony nodded slightly and stood up. Then, he took out a box of beautifully packaged tea leaves from a cabinet on the side.

He poured water to boil the tea leaves. The process was repeated to brew his tea.

“This is milky black tea from the Boers Mountain. Try it, Charlot.”

He thanked Anthony upon taking the teacup.

The black tea tasted soft and had a mellow fragrance.

Charlot was not a person who knew much about tea, but she could still feel that the tea must be of a high quality!

As Anthony poured himself a cup of tea, he smilingly said, “To be honest, Nancy and I both work in the World Alliance. I’m a lieutenant in the army, while Nancy is the president of the House of Representatives. Recently, your name has been circulated widely throughout the World Alliance!”

Upon hearing that, Charlot smiled faintly.

“I didn’t expect the two of you to be so amiable despite being in high positions!”

“There’s no such thing as high positions. It’s just a job.”

Anthony then waved his hand and gave a wry smile.

“A higher position requires a greater responsibility. If I can live with Nancy and Tina Forever in peace, I am willing to give away my status or power.”

Charlot nodded. He agreed with that.

If there would be no catastrophe in the foreign world three years later…

He also wanted to marry a girl he liked and have a beautiful son or daughter.

Such was the life that he yearned for, if he could be given another life.

“Recently, the Magic Academy has been the hottest topic of discussion.”

As Anthony took a sip of tea, he straightened his back slightly.

This meant that he was about to get down to business.

Following a nod, Charlot said, “The Magic Academy has been established. Its location is in the western suburbs.”

Anthony smiled and replied seriously, “I’ll call you principal Charlot from now on. Haha!”

Charlot also laughed.

To be honest, compared to the title of general, he preferred to be called principal.

It wasn’t that Charlot was good at being a teacher, but the title of principal would give him the feeling that he could help promote magic to the whole world!

The catastrophe of the other world was imminent. The thought that he could at least contribute a little to magic comforted his soul.

“Like what you said, it’s just a job.”

Charlot smiled modestly.

“I heard that the enrollment procedures of the Magic Academy have been finalized. Is that true?”

Charlot’s heart skipped a beat. She had a rough idea of why Anthony had invited her over for dinner with Tina.

“That’s right. It’s almost confirmed.”

“Next, we will the first batch of students from the most outstanding high schools and universities around the world.”

“There are estimated to be five thousand people in total.”

Charlot was honest in his account. This kind of news was not a secret to an army lieutenant and the President of the House of Representatives.

“Does that mean that one needs to graduate from high school in order to study at the Magic Academy?” asked Anthony.

Charlot nodded.

“That’s because magic is a powerful force.”

“Children who are too young are not mature enough. It is not a good thing for them to suddenly grasp the power of magic.”

“And those who are too old don’t have such a high development limit.”

“There should be an opening for magic teaching for these two groups in the future, but the first batch will only recruit high school and university students!”

“Are there any exceptions?”

Anthony looked into Charlot’s eyes and asked slowly.

Charlot was silent for a few seconds and nodded slowly.

“Yes.”

The exceptions were the old people and nurses at Palmeira Nursing Home and the other candidates approved Charlot.

Furthermore, Charlot was prepared to stabilize the teaching schedule of the Academy of Magic so that he could travel around the world to discover students with outstanding magic talent!

The calamity of the foreign world three years later was scary.

Not only did it require all the humans in the world to master a certain level of magic, but it also required them to have a certain level of self-defenses.

The more they accumulated, the better it would be. At the very least, they should be able to grasp some power to protect themselves.

But at the same time, if they wanted to fight against the tyrannical enemies, they would also need high-end power!

In the face of tyrannical strength, perhaps ll humans should gather together.

However, how many humans were there in the world?

Once the gap in the foreign world was opened, how many powerful enemies would there be?

Charlot had to prepare for the future.

He needed a group of people with similar strength to him, someone who could act as a pillar in the disaster three years later.

He needed someone who could act as a mainstay!

And this kind of person was someone that could only be met by chance!

At the very least, possessing powerful magic talent had eliminated over 99% of the people in the world!

As for the remaining 1%…

Charlot still needed to consider their personalities and behaviors. He also needed to check whether they could endure hardship and whether they were willing to accept the challenge.

This group of people were destined to become the backbone of all humanity.

Charlot even considered telling them about the calamity from the foreign world after a period of time!

This was both pressure and motivation!

Therefore, Charlot did not hide asnything when Anthony asked him if there were any exceptions.

“Then, what are the criteria for this exception?”

There was a hint of expectation in Anthony’s voice.

What he was most afraid of was that Charlot would be too strict, thereby leaving no space for negotiation.

If that was the case, there would be no chance for Tina to study at the Magic Academy.

After thinking for a moment, Charlot decided to tell the truth.

“Mr. Anthony, I roughly understand what you mean.”

“Currently, there is only one exception to the normal way to get into the Magic Academy!”

“Your talent is high enough!”

As Charlot took a sip from the teacup, he continued, “To tell the truth, I want to discover a group of true geniuses and personally teach them the most powerful magic!”

Anthony’s eyes shone with a fiery light as he heard Charlot speak again.

“If I’m not wrong, you want to ask me if I can let Tina enter the Academy of Magic, right?”

Anthony nodded heavily upon hearing the question.

“Charlot, Tina really loves magic. Moreover, as a parent, I want to give her a higher starting point. I hope you can understand that! I invited you here to find out whether that is possible. I didn’t mean to force you or whatsoever, so please don’t get me wrong.”

As Charlot nodded, he answered, “I understand. Tina is a cute, smart child. If it weren’t for the fact that she’s not old enough, I would definitely hope that she could enter a magic academy. But she’s too young.”

After pondering for a few seconds, Charlot said, “How about this, I can give little Tina a chance. Later, I will test her magic talent. If she meets my standard… then I can let her study at the Academy! And I will teach her personally!”
