Chapter 170: The Faynom Worlds Past
Chapter 170: The Faynom World's Past
Reylin and his people got sent straight to the past.
"For someone this stupid and disgusting, this man has quite powerful treasures," Reylin said after he dropped onto the ground.
He read the system messages, and his eyes widened at the absurd concept.
The past.
They were sent to the past... Honestly speaking, Reylin immediately imagined himself killing the ascended from the past.
That wasn't a wise choice, however.
If he killed them all here, the future could change too much... What if the Faynom World changed so much that Layla and others disappeared? For his little baby and friends, Reylin needed to be careful.
He was responsible for too many lives.
Reylin was the king!
"Are we all here?" Reylin asked while bringing Emilia up.
She stood up and replied, "I believe so."
Crown Liam nodded, "We all got teleported here, including the ghosts."
He stressed out the ghosts because they all wore uncomfortable expressions.
That was due to the events Changnam had shown before they all got teleported here. The cruelty of other races and how they used humans... That was past no one could disagree with or talk casually about.
Reylin replied with a stoic face, however, "Callan. Do you think people aren't cruel in my world? Even now, as technology rises and people's standards become much better, a few countries still follow the old standards. They force people into slavery and use them left and right without conscience. People who know too much die suddenly and so on... We live in similar worlds."
Callan opened his eyes, "I see."
"I think more of the future than the past. If you betray me or try anything funny, your future is bland," Reylin chuckled, then glanced at his system.
[You have been teleported to the past.]
[In order to return, you have to watch the ascended and their deeds. You don't have any time limit, but it's advised to hurry!]
Crimson Dragon's system said so.
Reylin grasped Emilia's hand, then said, "Let's see around."
All followed the Crimson Dragon.
The first problem arrived when one of the humans noticed them. His whole expression went through a tremendous shift as his eyes landed on the ghosts and many monsters behind Reylin and other humans.
He screamed, "Monsters in disguise!"
It wasn't a surprise to Reylin.
He remained stoic, "This is our first source of information. Don't hurt them, but just neutralize them."
One scream drew many other humans, and they all bared their weapons at Reylin and his people. The other side could only take out their weapons, so the flames howled.
Emilia let Reylin's hand go, then whispered, "A few bullets straight into the back of their heads, and we're good."
"Looks like my brother wants to show his skills too. Don't lose, Emilia," Reylin whispered to his lady's ear, then left a light kiss.
Fueled by her beloved, Emilia sneered with confidence, then rushed at the group of humans!
Crown Liam was just next to her, his speed likewise good!
He smirked, "I will give you some leftovers."
His speed rose, and Crown Liam shrunk the distance in the blink of an eye. He took out his weapon and cut through the first human.
That human's arm oozed out a fountain of blood, and his arm dropped immediately, "What? I can't use my arm anymore?! But that was... just a slash!"
Other than a massive amount of blood, that cut was relatively common. It shouldn't have taken out the man's arm, yet it did. That man lost his arm, then Crown Liam slashed through his other arm smoothly again.
The man's other arm dropped similarly, rendering the man useless.
"I cut through your nerves... There's nothing I can't cut through," Crown Liam said as he spun his knife with a teasing smile.
He extended his hand suddenly and left the man immobile.
As the miracle doctor, Crown Liam knew about the human anatomy the most out of all Crown descendants. He also learned about humans from the royal castle's books and quickly developed his unique attribute.
Reylin was the Crimson Dragon.
William was a man who just did critical strikes in every one of his moves.
Lawrence's mana was convincing, and it could reach the soul itself! He, out of all brothers, had one hundred percent accuracy!
Liam's knife always would cut through his targets!
He even believed he would be able to scratch all Rainbow Scales from the abomination if he were high level back then!
Of course, it would take some time and effort to keep the abomination busy, but who knew? It was just speculation, anyway!
Crown Liam's weapon was also unique... It was a knife made out of Medusa Rainbow Scales! It kept flashing with countless colors, bringing a special penetration effect to its wielder!
"Not bad!" Emilia shouted from the side.
Her guns flashed with similar colors!
They let out blinding fire bullets whose trajectory shifted a few times mid-air. Those bullets hit the humans' heads one by one, and all of them lost strength in their bodies due to the high output.
Emilia was also close to them, so she surely wouldn't miss, nor would she waste any of her bullets.
Her guns were blessed with rainbow scales. Her damage increased naturally, but when the gun flashed with red color, Emilia's strength surged so much she would be able to contest the legendary boss on her own!
Other colors also gave nice passive effects!
Emilia never felt this strong!
She glanced at her brother-in-law, then smirked.
Both of them did and took the whole scene for themselves.
The creator of those weapons, Crimson Dragon, kept looking at them with a warm smile. The stronger they got, the closer they got to their goal!
Many goals, actually.
Reylin soon faced one of the humans with his royal aura, "I am looking for the strongest humans."
They were far back to the past, but not at the juncture where people would treat the ascended as such.
That was why Reylin simply called them the strongest.
Human glanced at him, then sneered, "Go ahead, monster. Once you enter our kingdom, you will see the goddess! You will see the most beautiful human, Milkyona!"
"Goddess?" Reylin arched his eyebrow.
"She is so fucking hot! How can she not be a goddess?" A human spat in anger!
'This guy doesn't believe me, huh... I wish I could see his reaction! On the other hand, he is pretty handsome too... Damn it! He is so fucking handsome! Fuck those monsters! They and their illusions!' An angry human complained inwardly.
Reylin and others already left them alone, going their way to the so-called goddess.
