Chapter 180: World at the bottom
Chapter 180: World at the bottom
"You should start looking out for the big house," Aria said the following day, "If two worlds don't become one, you still will bring out Layla and Emilia to this world. We also need to pester Maya enough."
"So it's 'we', now, huh," Reylin glanced at Aria with squinted eyes.
"You did a good job. A few good jobs," Aria smirked, then stood up from the bed.
After she went to the bathroom, Reylin crossed his arms behind his head and looked at the ceiling, "I hope she's just in a coma... If not, and someone tortures her soul, I will visit their world."
The thought of Maya always stung Reylin's heart. She was his underclassman, and she should enjoy life instead of spending days in a coma.
If things worked differently, perhaps she would've already been in Reylin's harem, and they would have had an adorable time together. Of course, Maya was just one year younger than Reylin, so he would make sure her decision was severe and wait for a long time before treating her like his other women.
People around their age made rash decisions.
Reylin matured faster than all, though. He also understood the harem better after the recent events, so he would reply to Maya's feelings with more seriousness than the cute hero would expect!
"Our birthdays are just around the corner..." Thinking about Maya thoroughly awakened Reylin. He left the bed and did his morning routine. Then, he went straight to the Faynom World after a good breakfast. That world was his job, and he would secure a fortune for his family.
[Welcome to the Faynom World.]
Reylin appeared before Layla's bed. He logged out in her room often, so seeing her sleeping face, he left a kiss on her forehead. Leaving the room, Reylin headed to the spot he had talked about with Lioness.
He imagined he wouldn't be able to help her with her unique quest, but that was wrong.
Aria told him he would be able to go with her to one of the unique places. That place was where the blood from the royal race was tightly located and guarded by various traps and a natural environment.
It was pretty confusing, but Reylin was eager to help his woman.
"Reylin!"
Before Reylin set out for a quest with Aria, his mother logged in and walked around the castle to find him.
Maids saw Reylin, so she didn't have any problems doing so.
"Good morning, mother. What's with such a rash?" Reylin asked curiously.
His mother quickly replied, "Good morning! Has Liam and William told you about their next quests? They are both in the game, but I can't reach them through the system."
"This is the same as with the past event," Reylin sighed, "You couldn't reach us back then..."
"But they haven't told me anything about going on a dangerous mission! They are just making their mother worried!" Eva bit her lips and stared at Reylin with eyes shimmering in worry.
That world was a dangerous world where people literally died.
Unless someone found a cure in the Faynom World to the coma, all fallen players would remain 'dead'. That was why Eva was so worried!
If her sons had told her about it beforehand, she would be less worried.
"Enemy might appear out of nowhere to fight us... It's weird since I've taken the whole continent, though..." Reylin pondered, then reassured his mother, "I've helped them as much as I could. They are all equipped with the strongest weapon and equipment. Let's believe in them and focus on ourselves. Take care of Layla in my absence," Reylin smiled, then bid farewell to his mother as Aria was waiting for him.
His mother nodded, then turned around with her hands clenched.
Her family knew all the risks yet resolved to help many. All had their reasons, and they were her pride. However, as a mother, nothing would stop her from worrying about her sons!
-
"They will be fine," Aria said, "Their Crowns won't fall off their heads."
"That's what I believe in," Reylin smiled, "I like your words too."
Her boyfriend passed her mother's worries to her, then shared his. Unlike Crown Eva, Reylin learned how to suppress those emotions and focus on one goal.
That was precisely why their talk ended the moment Reylin and Aria appeared in a peculiar spot.
Lion Ghost was also with them, holding the honor of guiding the next Lion Queen. What concerned him the most was that there would be no Lion King. Should their current Lion King get saved, he would lose that status!
He glanced at the couple, then closed his eyes.
It seemed like he had already accepted that future.
"Crimson Dragon. Have you ever thought of crossing the ocean?" Lion Ghost asked.
Reylin shifted his eyes to the ghost, then replied, "Dangerous monsters inhabit the oceans, right? I don't exactly know their levels, but if races from the past didn't even dare to cross the ocean, I also don't plan on doing it without proper preparation."
"Oh! This is interesting. What do you have in mind?" Lion Ghost asked again.
Reylin chuckled, "My Crimson Dragon can fly, but its mana toil is heavy. I also expect ocean monsters to launch themselves at me, even though I would be at a high altitude. So, what I would need is a safe place to rest. Moving platform? Portable House? We still haven't looted dungeons thoroughly, so I will find something at some point."
Lion Ghost nodded, "I see... But other than them being able to help you rest, you would need them to be strong enough or have an army with yourself. As the king, I expect you would have enough people.
Well then... Following the words of my Lion King, I shall guide you to the world at the bottom."
"World at the bottom?" The couple asked.
"Lion King told me that our pure raw bloodline is guarded here by our dungeon and the ocean monsters! After so many years, all will be hostile against us whether we use the Lion Route or Invader Route.
Of course, no one knows about those routes! Lion King has passed me directions for the Lion Route, which will lead us to the inheritance," he concluded.
Reylin and Aria nodded, "Lead the way."
