Chapter 284: Atomic Stone!
Within a quiet part of the city, the entire street had been cleared people once the signs of dimensional zones started appearing.
Those who didn't have chance to evacuate quickly either died to the dimensional creatures summoned here.
The army had helped most civilians escaped the dimensional zones.
Suddenly, the air in the street trembled as pressure began to rise.
"BANG!!!"
The air blasted apart as massive amounts of shockwaves spread out, shattering the surrounding buildings to dust.
"Cough! Cough!! Cough!!!"
Scorching hot blood stained the already shattered ground releasing dust from the sand as Tyrion came to a halt, supporting his tiny frame with a still standing pillar of a destroyed building.
Tyrion gazed backwards in fear, and unwillingness but he knew if he pushed his body to move even a single kilometer forwards, his entire genetic structure would shatter and his talent would be affected in the process.
His regeneration might be able to repair it but he didn't want to take the risk.
Using his last hit of strength he punched the ground, creating a cave for himself to hide. After removing all traces of himself, he entire into the hole and immediately buried himself.
Just when Tyrion had relaxed slightly, the ground beneath him started collapsing.
Before he knew what was happening, he had fallen directly into an underground cave with a thump.
He quickly dashed to the side, avoiding being buried.
"Uhn? What is that?" The place he landed seem to be some sort of an hidden lab judging by the equipments in here, but it seemed to have been abandoned long ago.
Another mouthful of blood escaped his body as fine cracks spread alongs his skin like spiderwebs.
Not bothering to check his surroundings any longer, Tyrion immediately sat cross legged.
Immediately, his regeneration kicked in.
Heat coursed through his veins as the liquid serum spread through his entire system, rapidly soaking into his cells dead cells, rejuvenating them rapidly.
Currently, his body was like a dersert. All of it's energy consumed by the activation of his full asernal he had used to desperately escape.
While there was still a doubt in his mind about how he was able to escape so easily since the other party as a powerhouse, he should have caught up to him. No matter how strong he was, there was no way he would be able to outrun an Envoy , they were simply too powerful and the limit of their strength were beyond Tyrion's comprehension.
Tyrion wasn't too arrogant to ignore this fact, but he was simply too injured to think about anything alse apart from recuperating.
After what seem to be like a long time, Tyrion finally opened his eyes. His injuries hadn't yet fully stabilized but even then, his regenerative powesywas too strong.
This was the most injured he had ever being.
He frowned slightly as he stared at his surroundings. The temperature here was odd. When he first entered into this underground lab, the temperature of the lab was chillling cold. But now, it seemed really hot.
"Odd." His skin vibrated and genetic waves spread along his veins, patching up his dried up skin as the dead cells revitalized. He had only paid attention to his internal injury and forget to fix his out self which was what he did just now.
The equipments within this lab were old and already showing signs of rust with cobwebs surrounding the entire lab.
Apart from the usual equipments such as syringes, needles, biometers, Tyrion could see a large Gene installation device by the center of the lab. His eyes immediately perked up but once he saw the size of the device, he cooled down once more, shaking his head in pity.
"Shame, it's an old model." There was no way he would be able to lift the entire thing out of the lab and take it out, its part will definitely sell for an astronomical amount of price.
Tyrion was about to leave when he felt the temperature within the lab changed abruptly once more and it seem to originate from the Gene Installation device before him.
"Is this device about to explode?" Tyrion furrowed his brows in thought and tried remembering what he heard about old models like this.
Suddenly, his eyes brightened as he recalled the information about this particular model. Old models like this didn't rely on purely on electricity but in atomic stones!
Atomic stones are ores that contain massive amount of energy that when concerted to electricity energy, could generate enough electricity to serve an entire city for a hundred years!
Recalling this, Tyrion's lightly tapped his feet to the ground. He levitated upwards until he reached the top of the five meters tall device. Slapping the edge, a large metal sheet fkew out from the side, revealing an enclosed cabinet made out of special steel.
The steel was meant to hide the radiation of the stone to prevent hurting the geneticists working on the device.
It took a bit of sweat but eventually, Tyrion was able to rip apart the chambers. The moment the chamber ripped apart, the entire lab seem to have gone dark as spectrums of light in the surrounding was being absorbed by the revealed black stone.
Immediately, his eyes locked onto the stone, and he could feel the deep concentrated amount of 'Dust' contained in the stone.
Tyrion's heart skipped a beat and he panted uncontrollablely. He immediately closed his eyes and rubbed them almost as though he couldn't believe his eyes.
"Was my brain also damaged or is that a river within the stone ?" He was in disbelief. Stones with river in them contain at least millions of units of 'Dust!'
If he could sell it or absorb it, there was no need to cultivate at all. As long as he absorb the stone, he would forever not need to cultivate for at least a hundred year.
He could even cultivate his Primordial cells. He had used up the energy to fight Mentrail.
Carefully, Tyrion reached out his hands, grabbing the stone. In that moment, Tyrion's expression changed drastically.
"Shit!" He had been careless!
If his mind hadn't been overwhelmed by joy, he would have recollected that the more concentrated the energy, the more toxic its emitted radiation would be!
It hadn't even been a second when he touched it when his arm started decaying rapidly.
"Bang!"
Tyrion didn't waste anytime as he severed his right arm, separating the connection he had with the Ore.
His face immediately paled as he staggered backwards a few steps. Fear flashed in his eyes as he knew he had almost died from his own carelessness. Even after escaping death a few times, how was he unable to sense the danger of the ore?
Quickly moving his muscles, he stopped the flow of blood from his right arm and stared seriously at the ore. No matter what happens, he was going to absorb the 'Dust' and not a single bit of energy was going to be left inside!
His face hardened and with a solemn expression, he revolved the energy within his body he immediately went into his Primordial form, activated his Primordial cells as well as dragon, devil form and tiger formhe grabbed the ore with his six hands hands and roared, revolving his millions of Primordial cells, he began absorbing the energy within.
"Boom!"
[+100,000 Damage points]
Massive amount of energy surged into him like an endless river. Rocking and slamming his body as though he was a ship about to capsize from the sheer amount of waves caused by the surging river.
[+100,000 Damage points]
Using his body as the conduit, the system rapidly absorbed the energy like a starving ancient beast seeing a young petite girl after a hundred thousand years.
[+100,000 Damage points]
But sadly Tyrion's body wasn't that strong enough to hold in that much power. His body was just like a narrow pipe, transporting 'Dust' energy which was gushing out so fast. His 15 meters tall body rapidly ballooned up as numerous crimson veins the size of an adult's fist swelled up, making his hybrid form look demonic.
[+100,000 Damage points]
Toxic radiation from the energy ore also started to affect him. The hardened muscles above his skin started to decay rapidly, traveling upwards towards his shoulder.
[+100,000 Damage points]
In the blink of an eye, the flesh in his six arms had shriveled up, leaving just bones.
[+100,000 Damage points]
"Cr-crack!"
[+100,000 Damage points]
With just a little more force, his arm exploded into multiple fragments that shattered immediately after they came into contact with the ground.
[+100,000 Damage points]
Tyrion grunted in pain. The force made his monstrous body stagger backwards. Energy coursed through him, stimulating his genes and replicating his cells with explosive speed. With speed that could be seen with the naked eyes, Tyrion's arms regenerated as though time was being reversed and in just a single second, he had grown back his three complete set of arm.
'Four more times.' Tyrion muttered to himself. Gathering his energy and courage, with a roar he grabbed at the energy ore once more, rapidly absorbing the energy within.
