Chapter 46: Will he accept us? [Part - 5]
Chapter 46: Will he accept us? [Part - 5]
Harry walked towards the lonely hut in the distance with slight apprehension.
For some reason the whole place around the hut gave him the sensation that he was walking into a place where beasts resided.
He felt like ants were crawling though his whole body.
There was nothing visible that made him feel like that. The hut looked normal and it's surroundings too looked normal.
It was just a gut feeling of his. If not for the fact that he had to complete the mission, he would have already ran away from the place.
His gut feeling was very accurate most of the times. He hoped that it was wrong as he put on a calm facade and walked towards the hut.
He knocked on the fragile door, waiting for a response.
---------------------------------------
The atmosphere within the hut was extremely somber.
For some reason that Kara could not comprehend, all three of her brothers were on edge and extremely tense today.
She tried asking her brother Ethan what the reason was, but even he, who was generally extremely warm towards her and did not hide anything from her, just shrugged and muttered 'I don't know' in a cold and distant manner.
This baffled Kara as she was feeling slightly anxious now. Just what happened?!
All three of her brothers sat in different places in the small hut and were in deep thought about what to do about this sticky situation they were caught in.
Should they just ignore it?
Should they do what Ethan said and practically ask to be killed?
Should they just make a run for it and escape from Lyria?
They didn't consider themselves to be powerful enough to kill the king.
They were not fools. They were extremely clever, just that they were using their intelligence in the wrong way.
Kara saw her brother Arnold biting his nails, something which he only did when he was extremely anxious.
This was the third time she saw her brother do that as he generally had an uncanny level of control over his emotions.
Even if he was feeling extremely angry, scared or anxious, he would become calm in a span of seconds.
Just when Kara was sincerely considering asking her brother Ethan again, the sound of a door being knocked echoed through the hut.
All three brothers stared at the door blankly.
Ethan slowly got up and walked towards the hut while swallowing his saliva. Just who knocked their door?
No one usually visited them. The Lyrians didn't treat them badly, but they didn't treat them good either.
They usually ignored them and some times even ostracized them.
So with endless anxiousness, Ethan opened the door, only to feel his heart lurch as he held his breath.
