Chapter 813: Earth Spirit Flame Fruit!
Moon Fairy paused for a moment at the request for medicine.
"Close the door," the Desolation Marshal said with difficulty, leaning against the dark wall. She pulled out a white jade Bag of Holding and held it out to Moon Fairy.
"I am at your service, Marshal."
With no room to refuse, Moon Fairy stepped forward.
Up close, the ghastliness of the Desolation Marshal’s bloodied wounds was stark—likely the work of a barbed whip or chain, a sight that struck the heart with horror.
Such wounds, spread over such a pristine body, unavoidably stirred pity. Who would dare mar such divinity?
This was the Desolation Marshal, the commander of a 1,000,000-strong army. Who could dare wound her so?
Moon Fairy took the white jade Bag of Holding and asked, "What should I do?"
Bearing the pain, the Desolation Marshal whispered, "It contains an Earth Spirit Flame Fruit. Do you know how to use it?"
Moon Fairy shook his head."The Earth Spirit Flame Fruit is a Burying Heaven grade spiritual fruit. Just twist and extract the juice, and drop it on the wounds. It will heal a demon's flesh quickly, leaving no scars," the Desolation Marshal explained,
"Understood." Moon Fairy nodded. He focused on the Bag of Holding in his hands, opened it, and reached inside.
"This Earth Spirit Flame Fruit feels so odd?" Moon Fairy lifted it out for a closer look. What he held was not a fruit, but a piece of close-fitting armor that even bore a fragrance.
"Marshal, what is this?" asked Moon Fairy, puzzled.
Caught in her own agony, the Desolation Marshal glanced at the armor and her expression turned strange. "I grabbed the wrong Bag of Holding. Give it back."
"Of course." Moon Fairy returned the armor smoothly, dispelling the awkwardness.
The Desolation Marshal then produced another Bag of Holding, identical to the first.
Moon Fairy searched through this new bag and easily retrieved a fiery red jade box.
The Desolation Marshal nodded upon seeing it, and Moon Fairy opened it.
Inside the box was a fiery red cucumber-like celestial fruit, its dense fragrance filling the room like a living being, instantly warming the enclosed space.
"Twist directly?" Moon Fairy asked.
"Yes, drip it on the wound," the Desolation Marshal instructed.
Moon Fairy moved closer to her side, his hands grasping the thorny Earth Spirit Flame Fruit, its surface bristling with tiny, painful spines if squeezed too tightly.
The stronger the body, the higher the quality of celestial fruit or elixir needed to repair it.
The Desolation Marshal adjusted her position, allowing Moon Fairy to apply the fruit's essence to her back, a spot she had struggled to reach herself.
"Marshal, forgive my intrusion," Moon Fairy said.
"No, no. I should be thanking you," the Desolation Marshal responded.
Without further words, Moon Fairy tried to wring the fiery red juice from the fruit.
As it splashed upon her wounds, her torn flesh began to twitch and regenerate, visibly knitting itself whole again at a miraculous pace. The effect was remarkable.
With practiced ease, Moon Fairy continued the application.
As her wounds healed, the Desolation Marshal's vitality visibly improved; her complexion regained its rosiness, her vibrant, multi-colored hair shimmered more intensely, and her once scar-riddled back under his careful ministrations now glowed anew, without leaving a single scar.
Beneath the tattered gown, her flawless back curved delicately, the charged atmosphere around the searing heat of the Earth Spirit Flame Fruit almost igniting more than just physical healing.
Yet, Moon Fairy harbored no improper thoughts; once his task was completed, he stepped aside, turning his back to preserve the solemnity of their interaction.
The chamber was alive with a luminous energy.
Shortly, the Desolation Marshal donned a suit of pitch-black armor, sealing her elegance within this imposing shell, a helmet replacing her delicate demeanor with one of sheer valor.
"Turn around," she commanded.
Moon Fairy faced her once again, now an imposing figure of martial grace.
“Don't speak of today's affairs to anyone," the Desolation Marshal cautioned sternly.
"Don't worry, Marshal, I understand," he nodded.
"Good," she acknowledged, then added, "Thank you for the help."
"It was nothing, just a trivial task," Moon Fairy replied, his expression turning wry, recalling similar trivial tasks back at the Harmony Divine Palace.
The Desolation Marshal afforded him a slight smile before heading toward the door.
Just as she was about to exit, Moon Fairy spoke up, "Marshal, you command the Desolation Corps, who would dare harm you? As a member, I wish someday to avenge this insult on your behalf."
The Desolation Marshal paused, then turned to look at Moon Fairy. "I accept your sentiment. But let's talk about it when you've grown up a bit more."
"How will I know when I'm grown up?" Moon Fairy asked.
"You'll need the battle strength of at least the Sixth Baptism Realm," the Desolation Marshal replied calmly. "Take your time, even for a demon, there’s no need to rush."
"Understood," Moon Fairy nodded.
With a knowing smile at his youthful and earnest face, the Desolation Marshal turned and left.
After she had gone, Moon Fairy looked down at his hands, which were bright red and emitting wisps of intense heat due to his handling of the Earth Spirit Flame Fruit.
"What a bastard. Who would beat their own wife and with such cruelty—utterly inhuman," Moon Fairy thought contemptuously to himself.
It seemed the Desolation Marshal was used to this kind of treatment. No wonder she kept her child away from their father.
Muttering to himself, Moon Fairy walked out to sit in the center of the Northern Hall, resting and waiting in silence.
Soon, a striking figure eight feet tall appeared at the doorway. Her long hair cascaded over her shoulders, and she moved with a grace that commanded attention.
When she saw Moon Fairy, her expression tightened.
Moon Fairy sat on the ground, tapping on the floor, watching her coldly. "Crawl over here," he commanded.

In the Extreme Yin Celestial Realm, within the Harmony Divine Palace…
Atop the Peak of Heavenly Nymphs, talents from the Snow, Ice, and Sea Lineages gathered.
The selection for the Grand Assembly of Myriad Sects was about to begin.
Before the event, the area was bustling, and a host of celestial maidens chattered excitedly.
And the hottest topic was undoubtedly the recent rise of the 9-Star prodigy from the Snow Lineage, Feng Yao.
"She’s here!"
"The Diva of the Snow Lineage has personally escorted her!"
