Chapter 15: Go Out First

She put her hands together and enveloped the medicine and crystal in her magical skill.

Her Intuition skill was only suitable for sensing human bodily conditions and medicinal effectiveness. The crystal wasn’t actually considered a medicine, but she hadn’t tried sensing it before, and hence wasn’t sure if it could work.

Five minutes later, Jun Mohuang retracted her Intuition. These medicinal herbs had great use in restoring her health. Amongst them, the crystal was the most effective.

If she extracted all the restorative effects from the crystal, put it together with 50 stalks of medicinal herbs, and brewed them into a medicinal drink, it would be useful in starting the restorative process for her meridians and abdomen.

But besides the restorative essence in the crystal, there was also some venom from the jade-horned python. She had to fully separate the venom from the medicinal parts.

In the bathroom, a huge slab of beautiful white marble had become a bathtub with piping hot steam.

Jun Mohuang sat on the mat by the side. Right before her, a huge glass basin appeared.

She placed the crystal—which was the size of a basketball—as well as the 50 medicinal herb stems into the basin, and then added some colorless liquid.

If any apothecary was present to witness this scene, they would surely be in utter shock.

These medicinal herbs were over a century old, and were extremely precious. The jade-horned python crystal was even harder to get hold of.

This sort of herbs should be refined slowly and carefully. How could she just soak them in water! Wouldn’t all the good stuff be dispersed!?

But Jun Mohuang couldn’t care less. She stopped pouring the liquid in only when the basin was half-full.

This liquid was personally concocted by her.

It was used to extract the best parts of the medicine that was submerged in it at a great speed. It also ensured that the individual parts of the medicine would remain separate rather than integrated and all mixed up.

Just moments later, green and black liquids began seeping into the originally colorless liquid.

Both liquids were in the basin, but one was on the left, and the other was on the right; they did not mix at all.

The green liquid was the restorative essence, while the black liquid was none other than the venom from the jade-horned python.

Jun Mohuang eyed the black venom. This was good stuff.

Well, she did not have much interest in saving or treating people. She simply liked the evil side of stuff.

Over time, the two liquids increased in volume.

A whole hour later, each type of liquid was about the volume of a basketball. The essence of both the crystal and the herbs had been fully extracted.

Jun Mohuang put her hands together, and used her magical skill to transport the black liquid into a vial before safekeeping it in Huangyu Space.

She then transferred all of the green liquid into the bathtub. In a split second, the warm water in the tub turned a pale green as a strong medicinal scent filled the room.

She inhaled some of it, and felt soothed instantly.

Jun Mohuang sat by the tub, and was about to dip her toes into it when someone grabbed her by the waist.

“You killed someone?”

The only person who could approach her so quietly and stealthily had to be Di Lingtian.

Jun Mohuang was leaning against his chest. The smell of blood was so strong even the rich scent of the medicine could not conceal it.

Perhaps it was the killing that made his eyes bloodshot again.

“Mm-hm. I didn’t think Huang’er would be so good at preparing medicine.”

Di Lingtian looked in awe at the tub of prepared medicinal liquids.

This girl was the only person who could concoct such perfect medicines even without the bloodline of the apothecaries.

“I’m going to take a bath, go out first.”

Jun Mohuang wasn’t fazed by his compliment as she issued her order.
