Chapter 56: Chapter 17: A Demon Lord's Visit [2]
In response to the sudden question, her face seemed to think it wasn't a big deal before nodding at him with a clueless but lovely face that halved his anger in seconds.
"You're not mad, are you?" Morgana asked with a slightly soft and worried voice; the movement of her eyes closing and fluttering and her lips trembling caused Lancelot's anger to vanish further.
'Whatever, Human Lord, Demon Lord, does it matter when I am both?'
"Haha, why would I be mad if even the Imp rabble calls me one? Doesn't that mean my prestige will grow? Camelot will grow."
He didn't want to upset Morgana. Or rather, not just her but all the succubi, as it seemed something they did collectively, and if this was something important to them, how could he deny them because of a slight discomfort?
"I'm glad!" Morgana clenched her fists as her entire face became brightly lit, her eyes glowing golden before she gave a secret thumbs up to the other succubi.
"Marimo."
Lancelot called out to his most cherished Black Hare as she limped slightly towards the front of his throne. The silly girl was about to kneel when he gently held her shoulders, giving her a tight hug.
"Why are you kneeling? Look at your state because of me. Does it hurt? Is there any pain?" He asked with a gentle voice that caused most of the women still kneeling to swoon with slight jealousy while the succubi just giggled, fluttering their wings as they left the throne.
"Master... It's fine... much..."
She let out a cute whimper of pain when he poked the bruise on her bosom, slowly stroking over them with his palm as the dark blue slowly lightened until it was a small discolouration with no pain. "Is that better? Silly... if it hurts, say it hurts."
"Hehe~ Master's hug is so warm."
"!!!"
[I think that's enough, she's okay now, right?]
{Master! Ikumi Protests!}
As usual, they complained, but Lancelot just chuckled before releasing her after a few minutes. "Do you want to come see a friend?" His voice was gentle as he offered her a hand, his black and red wings sprouting from his back.
-> "Where about are you located in the demon lands? Maybe near a forest?" To Guinevere
His body stepped off the throne before taking Marimo into the skies—with a single flap of his wings, they shot 30 metres into the skies, and then he saw the familiar red dragon floating around to the Northeast... 'Oh, it's near that Overlord guy's former place.'
"Morgana, you come too, Meru, Ikumi. I'm leaving Camelot to you! I'll be back soon."
Morgana didn't wait as her beautiful white and black feathered wings sprung her body into the skies as she twirled in the air with a delighted face, while Marimo was wrapped in Lancelot's left arm as they approached the small village of Guinevere.
'Thankfully, she's more than 10 miles away from us, so if we develop in different directions, there won't be many clashes...' Lancelot thought while looking at Morgana, wondering if it was Guinevere grabbing his hand or if she would be sent here from the start.
The demon sky was rather nice in these parts—for some reason, the strange deformed birds avoided this area, maybe due to the newbie barrier or because there was something in the mountains that hated birds... Who knew?
'Get ready to land; try not to make her nervous because her troops are archer types!'
[Understood~ I won't try to look menacing to upset her!]
{Marimo will look cute...}
'Marimo is always cute!'
"Ahh~~ Master is so bad don't tease Marimo..."
***
Guinevere was sitting on her white throne—her cute dragon had already told her that a powerful existence was approaching, likely the Demon Lord mentioned by the imp rubbish.
"Are you sure, Tiamat? They aren't going to attack, right... I only have 15 archers... what if he is adamant about having me as his wife?" Guinevere's eyes looked sad; she told Lancelot the area because she knew he could never come here...
That alone caused her to feel isolated—she planned to hold his hand and test a theory from the girls in her class in the last life; it was an urban myth that if a girl grabbed the hand of the boy she liked during the first visit to Avalon, they would be spawned closer together...
"Stupid fable, lying bitches... I'll beat them all..."
"Careful princess, what happened to your lady-like charm and serene beauty?" The red dragon's gentle voice and motherly voice sounded.
"Hmph... so what! Lancelot isn't here anyway—there's no father or knights, so why should I act like a stupid prim and proper princess."
"Look where that got me in the last life! DEAD!"
The dragon turned away, looking at the small dots approaching with a smile, her maw opening about to warn Guinevere of who it was, but then she smiled and stopped, her red tail slapping the stone floor of their throne in the style of both a dragon's roost and castle it was rather amazing.
The walls were created from the natural rock formations of the cave walls, with a white throne just beside Tiamat's bed. Unlike Lancelot's, a castle with marble floors and lovely walls, Guinevere's was messy but had rustic and natural beauty.
"Ah....!? Tiamat! People are approaching from the air... Intercept them, please!"
However, before she could lift from her spot, a demon's body crashed onto the ground; the poor archer was knocked to the ground from the huge impact and slight crater that the succubus caused.
Her height was over 6ft, with four wings, one pair and the other black, her body covered in a black scale armour and a heavy spear in her hand as red eyes peeked from the visor over her face.
"!!!"
Guinevere jumped from her throne, grasping her normal spear as Longinus was on cooldown, rushing towards Morgana, when suddenly another figure dropped, a little familiar to her. Still, before she could make sure, her body was grasped by powerful arms pulling her into his embrace as she was kidnapped into the air.
"Kyaaaaaa!?!!"
"Lancelot Save me!!!"
The man's face was covered by his visor, golden eyes looking down at her, she struggled against his grasp, but her power was far too weak.
Just as she was about to call out...
"Silly girl, didn't I say I would come to meet you?"
"Eh?"
"Lancelot...? You bastard! Put me down... you almost made me pee myself... I was so scared!"
"Haha... sorry, I didn't expect the ice princess to be so soft in reality..."
Her face pouted as he shifted her body into a princess carry, flying over his Sherwood forest and the top of Camelot. "Hey~ that forest is pretty. What's its name?"
Lancelot looked at her face with a smile, tapping her back, "Guinevere... I named this forest Sherwood forest."
"..."
She became quiet momentarily as their bodies soared through the cool mid-afternoon breeze, back around his village and heading towards hers.
"It is because of our first time?" Guinevere's red face asked as they were close to her village, her hands pulling on his chest.
"Ah, it's because forests always remind me of you and..."
"No! Don't say it~!!" Her hands covered his mouth as the pair slowly descended to find Morgana and Tiamat chatting like friends, the dragon now in a humanoid form with long red hair.
"Oh, the kids are back~ are you both hungry? did you hurt yourselves?" Tiamat asked in a cheery voice before drinking more of her big jar of ale.
