Chapter 60: Chapter 21: Hunting [2]
The twin moons illuminated the area around the walls as Lancelot stood beside the 30 half-elf archers and Marimo, who was holding a longbow with a serious face.
A huge army of orcs and goblins was now less than 100 metres from the walls, each elf's bow drawn fully with a nocked arrow and several between their fingers.
Marimo's eyes glowed with a beautiful shimmer before she released an arrow. Her shot flew through the air before penetrating the neck of a large orc, instantly killing it.
"Good shot Marimo." Lancelot petted her head gently before he stepped onto the wall, his Gale Sword in Dual blade mode as his wings expanded more easily than normal.
'Strange I didn't have to use my Dominus, though...'
Guinevere waited for them to draw closer—their bows were cheap and lower level than Marimo, who could easily fully draw her large bow with a much longer range and impact power than the half-elves.
Lancelot stepped off the wooden wall, his wings flapping with a powerful gust as he jetted through the air, floating over the orcs and goblins that held their shortbows towards him with no luck as he shot past them and vanished into the darkness.
'Good... They gave up.'

[Guinevere POV]
'That bastard flew away... but I know he isn't one to flee and is likely doing something to wipe them out faster...'
Seeing him fly away, she felt a little angry, but she couldn't focus on him now—just thinking about him was enough to make her go crazy.
"Sheerwood archers, ready." She watched as the goblins rushed forward carrying their crude bows and drooling faces upon seeing pretty female elves on the walls.
The wild beasts and monsters were nothing like those from civilised worlds, all filled with great excitement from just seeing the number of women in little tents raising in their pants.
"Hold..." Tiamat was sitting on the wall, watching her Lady's face with a smile before swirling her fingers in a spiral as a small ball of fire appeared, slowly growing into a large ball as the goblins and orcs finally entered the range of their shortbows.
"Release!" The moment Guinevere's voice sounded, their arrows shot into the skies, blotting them out for the goblins desperately trying to nock their crude arrows, only for the 30 arrows to tear through them.
The elven archers were deadly and accurately targeted their eyes, neck and crotch with jagged arrows.
"Fire at will. Tiamat."
Woosh!
Her fireballs were now three in number and the size of a large sphere as she tossed them into the huge crowd, the flaming spheres tearing through the air before exploding upon hitting the larger orcs, burning their bodies and turning their allies around them into ashes.
"Grreeeek!"
"Grukka!"
"Buhiii!"
The monsters were enraged, no longer keeping orderly as the elven arrows hailed down like rain, constantly tearing them apart. It seemed the goblins were seen as worthless as their bodies and flesh dropped under the heavy orc feet.
"Master is fighting..." Marimo whispered as she dropped her bow, took up her spear, stepping onto the edge of the wall, her cold blue eyes shining like dark ice in the night sky, watching as the orcs rushed the walls with their axes.
"Morgana!" Marimo's voice was sharp and fierce like she was the commander.
Unlike Tiamat, she couldn't magically make the fireballs appear rapidly as blue streams of magical energy began to swirl around her spear—she tensed her hare legs, the powerful muscles tightening like a spring before she shot into the skies.
'His troops are so amazing...'
The twin moons behind her illuminated her body as she launched the spear down into the crowd, four lances of ice splitting from the blade as they ripped apart 5 orcs, skewering them like roast pigs.
Following her, all 10 succubi and Morgana flew into the skies, hands filled with black and blue flames as they danced through the skies, timing it with Marimo and dropping the flaming bombs the moment she struck.
Bang!
Before Guinevere's troops reacted to the wall being cut down, his troops, without a single word, just acted and unleashed a brutal combination that killed 80% of the orcs before Guinevere watched the Hare drop down with her black feet smashing into an orc's face, crushing his body into meat paste.
"Phew..."
Shling!
Marimo yanked her spear from the dead orc, slicing its body with the flick of her wrist—as she lowered herself and lunged forward, a blue trail of light followed her eyes as she began to massacre the surviving orcs that were bloody and burned.
"See... we were fine without his help!" Guinevere said with her hands on her hips with a proud smile.
However, Tiamat shook her head and placed a hand on her shoulder.
Like magic torches, her eyes glowed bright yellow before the scenes from over a mile away were shown as she gasped, holding onto the wooden walls with a tight grip, almost breaking them.
"How... Why didn't he say?" Her voice was softer than before, unlike the complaining princess.
"Tiamat, go quick! Help him..."
Her commander looked at her with a large smile, shaking her head once more before whispering, "Watch closely—this is the man you will follow."
[Guinevere POV end]

The formerly beautiful green fields were now destroyed, blood, flesh and crushed bodies of orcs gathered in large piles, their throats slit, bodies torn apart as more than 150 surrounded Lancelot's body, covered with several wounds and marks.
His body swirled with several purple blades that seemed to move as he willed, blocking the enemy's attacks no matter how many—he could block 6 out of 8, only taking minimal damage.
Slash!
As his long silver sword cleaved apart another orc, cutting it down the midsection, the wet squelch of its guts fell out as he pulled back the sword like a melody to his ears.
"Come!"
'This feels amazing... Each kills something enters me, making me less tired... more powerful even if it's only a fraction!'
Lancelot wasn't using his Dominus—even his wings were retracted as his body danced along the green plains, his feet tapping on the ground as if floating, each swing of his sword taking the life of one orc.
In contrast, their bodies shuddered, a sense of fear as four tried to penetrate his back with their spears, only for the Phantasmal Blades to counter and chop off their hands.
Feeling the sensation of his blades, his body twirled around, slicing through the throats of the four orcs, their blood spraying like a fountain as he bathed in their blood, his loof now far more demonic than ever before.
Bit by bit... he fought alone, even though it might have been simple, but the main force of 300 orcs might just have caused damage to her walls.
On this night, both buffed by the moonlight, these level 2 Orcs were garbage to him.
Slice! Slash!
Lancelot killed another orc, only for his back to receive two deep wounds, as blood started to ooze from them, but he continued his dance; lifting his right leg, he kicked an orc's knee, shattering the bone, before his left hand jutted into it's nose, the bone splitting and penetrating it's brain.
"Come!"
Every slash, each wound... his movements and blade became faster, his body bending and leaning like the ebbing flow of the ocean tide.
"Tonight, I will dine on barbecue pork!"
Like this, Lancelot fought with everything he could, slowly killing the orcs with a faint smile, not knowing that the beautiful princess was becoming enamoured with his fight... the beauty of his dance that contained a little ferocity and was different from the trial...
Her heart would change at this sight... Always yearning to see him fight and never miss the slightest change or evolution.
