Chapter 67: Chapter 28: A Lifetime Apart, You're Still A Smug Prick!
Lancelot slowly walked back to the classroom after she scolded him and said to return to class.
'Hmmm, it seems she's quite the soft woman at heart.'
Her sentiment was enough for him as he added her number to his phone under the title [Teacher Wife] before heading in the opposite direction of the classroom.
"Oh, to be so popular."
Because three people were following him, two were hidden in the shadows while the last one was following without trying to hide his presence, the usual arrogant and confident smile on his face shimmering from the reflection in the glass.
He didn't waste time looking for help or telling anyone. That was stupid, and Lancelot wasn't a bitch—he walked straight for the duelling field.
'Let's see...'
A smile came to Lancelot's face as he picked up the pace, loosening the buttons around his neck and chest before placing both hands in his pockets.
'Vellan.'
'Lusia.'
{{Master?!}}
{Brother! Finally, you called!}
'Do you both want to play and fight against an arrogant knight and his dumb commander?'
[Lancelot!? Why do you not call for me... Am I old news... are you already bored of me... This Queen is still nice and tight...]
Morgana's soft, crying voice almost made his determination to fight the three of them completely vanish as he had to hop onto the stone wall surrounding the garden to avoid tripping on some gravel.
'Morgana... Don't be stupid!'
{{Ah! The old woman is trying to steal our time!}}
{Grandmother, please step aside!}
The two Succubus Heroes were more brave than a dragon—calling their cousin an old woman was something EVEN Lancelot didn't dare to do. Morgana was a demon born near the birth of Avalon...
A very old existence.
Yet when she introduced herself, she claimed she was 18!
[...]
In that silent breath, Lancelot could feel the tragedy that was the fate of these two succubi once they were done helping him tonight. Part of him even wanted them to get beaten by the enemy's troops so that Morgana would forgive them... How tragic.
Lancelot didn't take long to arrive at the duelling grounds while jogging at half pace to reach the furthest stage from the teacher's lounge. Instead, it was a nice warmup as his sword slipped into his grasp with the elegant flick of his wrist before he hopped onto the arena and turned around calmly.
"Oh, if it isn't the smug cuckold, Arthur Pendragon."
His voice had a tone of mockery and pure challenge as Lancelot held the Gale sword towards Arthur in his second-year Elite uniform and his golden sheath tied to his waist.
"..."
"How dare you, wretch! Nothing more than a filthy broken fallen noble!" Screamed a feminine voice.
A brunette woman in a black skirt lunged from the shadows, her blue eyes filled with hatred. She was quite familiar to Lancelot. It was not... The two women were Guinevere's maids before he beat them on the first day he met.
'Ah... My hunch was right. Those two traitors were Arthur's watchdogs.'
Her hand held a thin silver sword as she thrust forward, aiming for his throat, while the blonde maid behind her pulled out a sabre from behind her back.
A sigh escaped his lips as Lancelot easily sidestepped Guinevere's maid and grabbed the silver blade between his fingers before gripping the hilt, twisting the sword out of her hand. His knee smashed into her face in a single movement, cracking her jaw and rattling her brain as she stumbled forward.
"That isn't how you end someone's life since you attacked me on the duelling stand... Farewell."
*Slash*
Lancelot's sword sliced into the back of Guinevere's maid's neck, severing her spine and nicking her artery before pulling back. Blood dripped from the flat of his blade as the maid fell to the ground.
"Aaaah... You little wretch! How dare you kill my sister!" Using a sabre, the blonde maid lunged forward while Arthur stood silently, his hands at his waist.
Lancelot could feel her murderous aura, so he kicked off the ground with his left foot to hop back as she slashed. He flipped around the blade, kicking her in the arm and slapping her across the face with the flat blade as she dropped her sword.
"..."
His kick shattered her arm while he slapped her cheek with the blade, making her bite down on her lip and cheek. Lancelot looked at her, blood oozing from her lips, a fierce glare in her eyes, "Did you think you were anything more than a dog in his eyes? Now, on your way."
Lancelot grabbed her by her throat, gripping her windpipe with his idle hand, watching as her face turned pale as she struggled to breathe.
"Ah—gah! How dare—gah!"
Lancelot grabbed his Gale Sword and plunged it into the woman's stomach, ignoring her pleas for mercy and using all his strength to twist and turn the blade around as her innards spilt out.
"This is your punishment for plotting against me... Hm? I'll let you die with your dignity and your pride."
Lancelot pulled her to her feet and gripped her broken arm tightly before twisting her around and pushing her forward. He pushed her into her sister, and the two women collapsed into each other as they shared the same fate.
Slowly like he hadn't taken their lives or felt their Ether being absorbed by his demonic blood, he wiped their blood off his sword with some cloth. Now looking at the cold gaze of Arthur with a smirk. 'To think, in the past life, I admired this guy and thought his cool smile was cool.'
The two handsome males looked at each other in silence, one tall with a calm face, blonde hair and blue eyes, his eyes clear without a sense of disturbance. While the other was extremely handsome, with a wild look as his silver hair was swept backwards, flopping over to one side, revealing his slightly pointed ears and beautiful grey eyes like a wolf staring at its prey.
Both stood in silence with a calm expression until Arthur smiled at Lancelot, "I see... you did that knowing who I am and still did not stop?"
Lancelot straightened himself, taking a calm pose with his sword. "Ah, you are Arthur Pendragon, a man with an inflated ego and confidence beyond the stars themselves."
Lancelot's lips curved into a smile as he gripped his Gale Sword tighter, "A man with too much pride for his good. I will not lose... Unlike you, a cuckold who thinks nothing of betraying his empire for a small benefit. I will not lose... A man without morals, ethics, and honour."
Arthur's expression slowly shifted, becoming a fierce and grim glare; as he pulled out his Excalibur from his sheath, a low roar and rumble spread through the air as it even caused the Gale Sword to tremble momentarily. "How dare you insult my honour! A man like you is worth nothing!"
'I guess he was waiting for the teachers to show up. Ah, that is... a legendary weapon. I can see why Everyone has so much respect for it.'
He could feel a lot of magic energy radiating off the weapon, the power of his family's blood, the sword of kingship... but this sword was not worthy of his kingship.
"Let's not drag this out. COME, LUSIA, VELLAN! HEROES OF THE SUCCUBUS RACE!"
Lancelot summoning his troops caused the duel area to close off instantly. At the same time, Arthur's eyes widened—his commander was known to be brutal, powerful and able to dominate even a dragon with its might. 'I cannot kill him, nor hope to crush him at this stage... But I have no time to wait for the teachers to arrive.'
A smirk came over Lancelot's face as he watched the Gale Sword shatter and turn to dust.
"Do you believe in fairytales and legends? For even if I fight you, Arthur, I will not lose! I will take your power and everything you have and make you regret your actions!"
"Guinevere was just the first step."
Two bursts of magic appeared beside him, one purple and the other blue, as his two cute Succubus Heroes appeared with a flash of seductive and demonic energy.
"You... Lancelot, was it? I will remember you. Try not to die from my blade, for nothing can stand against Excalibur, even the Sword Demon himself."
{Master~ why is this man so smug? Should Sia beat him for you?}
The lovely fair-skinned succubus wrapped around his shoulder, her long, serpentine tongue sliding over Lancelot's face leaving a wet sticky trail that emanated a pink ether.
{Brother~ shall I chop it off?}
Vel's beautiful blue skin pressed against his left hand, pushing his sword and fingers between her ample breasts, a sticky blue lubricant shining radiantly and trickling down his arm.
'Girls, we cannot beat him unless we hold nothing back, and this is just a greeting—a way to increase my prestige in the eyes of the academy. Don't let him trick you; that sword can even kill Commanders permanently.'
"Let's have a nice dance, girls."
