Chapter 384: It Has Always Been Me... And You
While face-to-face with the Russian beauty, Azmodeus had no clue what was going on inside that head of hers. "How are we alike?" He asked out of curiosity.
Sylvia spun around a little as she flashed a smile capable of brightening up the whole world. "We are alike," she said. "Because you are lost, just as I was once lost before meeting you."
"...I am lost?" Azmodeus asked himself as his eyes fell on his rough hands. "Why would you say that?"
Sylvia hopped a bit closer to Azmodeus. "I know because of your eyes," she said with an illuminating smile. "The eyes are the gate to a person's soul, and your eyes depict a story of excitement, thrill, anger, sadness… and loss…"
"You are lost," Sylvia repeated. "Just as I was."
She put her slender hand up to Azmodeus's heart and felt something all too familiar.
"Even though you are lost," Sylvia said as her voice became sweeter. "I will find you."
"Until the end of time, I will find you. Just as I always have…"
"What do you mean by that—??"
OOOM!!!
Before Azmodeus could understand the meaning behind her words, a dazzling ray of light beamed down from the heavens!
It covered Sylvia in its entirety, causing her body to erupt with a splendiferous myriad of iridescence!
"???" "???"
Azmodeus took Delilah and stepped back to a safe distance. Neither of them knew what was going on; however, it was definitely nothing good.
FWIP! FWIP!
Materializing into being were the Silver Catasphrophe and Miss Moon, both of whom looked up at the insurmountable beam of light with worry overtaking their expressions.
"What is going on here, boy!?" The Silver Catasphrophe bellowed. "What did you do to my daughter!?"
He automatically assumed that this event was Azmodeus's fault, and he was prepared to fight him to the death if need be!
However, with a single hand raise from Miss Moon, the raging silver giant settled down and went back to worriedly staring at his glowing daughter in the beam of lights' center.
"Azmodeus," Miss Moon said as she peered into his two crimson eyes. "Do you know what's happening to our daughter right now?" She asked calmly.
"No," Azmodeus answered truthfully. "She spoke of finding me, just as she 'always' had, and then it looked like her mind went through a struggle with her body. This beam of light was the result of that struggle."
Miss Moon's face darkened as she realized something that she never thought to be possible. "A reincarnation… my daughter is the reincarnation of someone more powerful than myself," she announced in a grave tone. "To be more powerful than I am, this being must be from outside the Eternal Jade Heavens Immortal Realm."
"???"
Azmodeus couldn't understand how she inferred something so far-fetched from what had happened thus far. But when looking at the expression she was making, he knew that she 100% believed what she just announced.
There were a plethora of things on his mind upon comprehending the severity of the situation, but above all, he was worried.
He didn't know why, but his chest tightened when looking at the pain that singed Sylvia's flawless facial features. "How do we stop whatever is happening?" He asked in a strained tone.
All of the color left Miss Moon's face as her shoulders drooped. "We can't," she said. "If the source of her reincarnation was weaker than me, then I could prevent the reincarnator from going any further. But in this case, t-there is nothing I can do…" Her voice cracked as she collapsed to the ground.
"My love!" The Silver Catastrophe shouted as he hurried over to his wife and kneeled down beside her. "What's wrong!? Is Sylvia going to be okay!?"
"I-I…"
Miss Moon bit down on her lips until blood drew.
She didn't have the heart to tell her husband what happened when an extremely powerful reincarnator took back possession of the new vessel. It would devastate him…
Even as an Immortal Transcendent Realm cultivator, there was absolutely nothing Miss Moon could do but clench her fist in frustration and weep.
Drip, Drip, Drip.
Her crystalline tears beating against the murky ground marked the end of something she cherished more than anything in the entire world.
The light beam around Sylvia slowly dispersed, and from the light emerged a floating silver-haired woman who was no longer the same person she once was.
"..."
This familiar yet unfamiliar woman observed her surroundings. That was until she caught sight of the man she had been searching for.
The woman calmly leviated over to Azmodeus. On her face was a smile so warm and inviting that all of existence would fall into her ample bosom with just a single word out of her mouth.
Thud! Thud!
The Silver Catasphrophe and Miss Moon suddenly fell to the ground unconscious.
'Why is she coming to me?' Azmodeus thought in confusion. 'And why does it feel like I know her from somewhere…? Sylvia… she's still in there as well…' read-this-on-NovelFire
Being the only one thinking lucidly enough to notice, he realized that Sylvia was this woman, but also not this woman at the same time.
Before this train of thought could lead him anywhere, the mysterious smiling woman floated down to him and stopped moving right when her button nose touched his nose.
"I found you," she declared in a voice sweeter than ambrosia. "Just like all the times before, I found you once again. It's always just been the two of us."
"What do you mean—" Before Azmodeus could finish asking his question, the mysterious silver-haired woman cupped his cheeks and took his lips for her own.
Their hot breath mingled together as their tongues wrapped around one another, and under the presence of a mother and a father, the mysterious woman disengaged the kiss.
With a string of saliva sensually connecting the two of them, the woman touched her lips with her index finger and then touched his lips with that same finger. "It has always just been the two of us," she said.
"When we met as children in the Yang Sect, I fell in love. In a cave, I sat and waited, waited for the day that you'd arrive. And there you came… I was a silly Drake, and you were the same person you've always been…"
"I don't understand what you're saying—"
