Thanks to the emotional instability that teacher Jaz was feeling right now, the feelings that he had always tried to hide were coming to surface for the first time.

'He was accepting the fact that there might be something going on between him and whoever he was seeing right now.'

It's been a while since I could see the strings connected to people, strings that mean something that they either have on their surface level conscious mind, or in their physical bodies.

'Much like appraisal skills my eyes also look through the individuals and see the things that they might be trying to accept as truths or had already accepted them as one.'

It's a little more complicated when I think about it, but in simple words, this is simply all about individual truths.

"Are you sure it's going this way?"

"Do you wanna see it yourself? I didn't know you doubted me that much, darling."

"I don't doubt you but, think about it… we have already walked up to the sixth floor."

"Well, I'm simply following the string as I see it. We can't do anything about it now, can we?"

So… we are doing something not-very-appropriate by following the string that I am seeing which is connected to sir Jez and the particular individual that he had been seeing.

'We do not know who this person would be, but we know for certain that whoever this person might be, they definitely aren't part of the student body.'

If that were the case, we would be following the string outside of the academy and not side, we would definitely not be going up the floors which the students weren't even allowed in after the classes have been completed.

'I don't know who that person he had been seeing might be, but the fact that he is now actually thinking about them is something that has been making me curious about all this.'

And I was not the only one…

"Oh, you know what? I talked with Cradle earlier."

"Hmm? When?"

"Earlier when you were busy with the other ladies. She was passing by so I asked her if something was going on among the vampires, but nope. She had no idea about anything significant happening.

If it's personal, I don't think we will be able to find anything related to the Velorina family."

Sir Jez was part of one of the nine pureblood families that were well known among a few kinds of individuals.

Common people might not know about the other pureblood families, but the Velorina and the kins belonging to her family had always been well known for many things throughout history.

Just like sir Jez, there are many famous people from this particular family all around the world, but, sir Jez is even more special among the rest of them.

'Just like Carla or Alf, they have been calling him the child prodigy of Velorina ever since he obtained his familiar at the young age of 3 years.'

That age is almost like infancy among the vampires, so, he had been doing something amazing ever since he was born.

He learned various kinds of arts, magic, fighting, got stronger, refined his blood arts, got in contact with the spirits of blood and afterlife, he even started teaching at the great academy where their great ancestors had studied.

'The originators of their race were unique beings that were pretty different even when they were born… however, aside from the things mentioned in the three stories of Origin, most of it was simply unconfirmed.'

Anyway, we passed eight of the academy floors on foot and yet there was no sign of the other end of this string. Your journey continues on empire

It just stretched on and on and on and on… there didn't even seem to be any endpoint of this thing which simply made things even more boring.

"Do you think it could be someone beside the faculty members? Oh, do you think it could be some kind of a creature?"

"I doubt it, Eon. He isn't someone who would want to invest his time playing around with some creature.

He has his familiar and he has people that he could fool around with, so this must be something different.

I mean, yes love can be of many times and romantic kind of love also has many sides to it. But, even though we don't know what kind of Case we might be after right now, I for damn sure know this isn't about some Creature!

'I want this to be something that shouldn't happen here. I want this to be something special that a teacher of this academy has with someone else Within the academy.'

Is it so wrong to want a drama like this?

Tia would love it if we tell her about this, so I don't think I'm the weird one to think this is something fun.

We had walked quite high up in the academy castle, in a place where we should not be as students.

Thankfully, our status as the student council members didn't alert the artificial caretakers of this floor about our presence.

The two of us were the only ones here and since no class was ongoing right now, we were here by mistake like a few other members of the council have until now.n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om

"I think this is it." I stopped before a certain random room that neither of us knew much about.

"Seems like a botany lab. But, why doesn't it have any name plaques?"

The academy castle is big. Like, very big!

It has all kinds of places, rooms and labs for even the weirdest kind of things.

Many of these places are open for the students to explore whenever they want, many places until a certain floor are also open for everyone.

But there were some places which were restricted for only a few students with permissions or for only the teachers.

There were some places in the academy that were also only available for special students like us council members, students who could use a specific kind of lab, or those who needed certain facilities just to stay alive.

However, whatever that place might be, almost all the places, all the rooms in the academy have this certain name tag on it which shows what that place is.

And to people with certain privileges, it also shows them how these places might be connected to something else.

"It's strange, certainly."

But this particular door did not have any name plate on it even though it was on the Botany floor where everything was divided and categorised into different things.

"Should we knock? We should knock before going in at least."

The string was ending here so it was definitely going inside here.

Perhaps there was some other place that this strange room might be connected to, or there could be something else.

But since we don't know what that might be, I checked and just opened the unlocked door and walked inside.

"It's open anyway, let's just go in."

"Hey. You shouldn't do that."

Eon darling was the same as ever telling me what I should do and what I should not when we are doing things that we should not most of the time anyway.

"Looks like a normal place."

The inside was just like how a botany lab would look like. Pretty much the same as the other places on this floor.

"Hmm?"

But even though I didn't see it at first glance, this place wasn't really empty.

{ "You? What are you two doing here?" }

It was a voice that we had heard before as well. And it was a Mana voice that we were pretty familiar with.

"What the fuck? What the fuck are you doing here you Bitch-."

"Uriel."

"What?!"

Glowing green in her semi-physical body, her eyes the same golden as it had been the first time I saw her bitchy face, the body that was also the same… just with too little 'clothes' this time.

{ "What are you two doing here! Oh goodness! Get out of here!" }

"Why would we?! In the first place, what are you doing here?"

"She's right, Miss Ivy. What could you be doing here? And, what are all these plants?"

She was the same person that was mesmerised by Eon's special fertiliser that he used on the creature that attacked Ball the first time we met him.

'The Queen specifically punished her since this bitch was constantly harnessing us for that fertiliser, but knowing the bad impacts it had, Eon never agreed to give her any of that.'

After she was punished by the queen, for all these months, we only ever saw her in passing… but, what was she doing Inside the academy when she was supposed to be the caretaker of the Outside?

It didn't really make any sense to me… at least, not until I saw a certain string being attached to her.

"Umm… what?"

And, this was the same string that we were following since earlier.

"What the hell?"

Funnily enough, she wasn't the only one that this string was connected to.

"Eon."

"I know."

-Oooooooooooooooong.

First of all we created a barrier that isolated us and blocked her unique escape path.

"What is all this? And what the hell have you been doing here with sir Jez?"

She was a Druid, a being of nature while sir Jez was a vampire.

A relationship between these two of such distinct kinds would certainly have been a fun discussion topic, but this wasn't a tale of love.

It was a tale of blood.

"What the hell are all these plants?!"

A tale of blood that had somehow birthed all these strange, yet simple looking plants…
