Chapter 270 You're Welcome Too
Atlas and Amethyst fought valiantly, cutting through wave after wave of monsters. However, the creatures soon adapted, their numbers overwhelming the pair. They organized their attacks, but the relentless onslaught forced the monsters into flanking and ambushing them from all sides.
While the battle died down, the phoenix woman landed in her humanoid form as she spoke in a tired voice, ''I can sense more of those creatures around us.''
He nodded when hearing the news and quickly checked the monster total, only to be shocked at the amount they had left to kill.
[Void Tarrasque -1000/1000]
[Void Shadow Tarrasque - 500/500]
[Void World-Eater - 36/250]
[????????????????????]
'Shouldn't take too long now,' Atlas thought before turning to Amethyst, ''We don't have many to kill so let's get back to it.''
The purple-haired young woman nodded as she transformed into her phoenix form and took to the sky. While she did this, he quickly cast Void Guard to block a World Eater pounce, causing the monster to fly backward.
Following this, Atlas started using Void Lance as it tore through the bodies of the monsters and sent them back to the Void Realm. While he was doing this, Amethyst swooped down before snatching up two of the creatures.
Her massive talons tore through the creatures' torsos with lethal precision, their lifeless bodies falling away as she carved a path toward the boss of the sixth level. Meanwhile, Atlas's twin swords were a blur as he deflected dozens of clawed strikes.
Each time he blocked, it sent a cascade of sparks flying into the air, the clash of steel against monstrous claws echoing through the battlefield. Atlas quickly noticed the World Eaters jumped toward Amethyst as she swooped down.
Before they could land an attack on his phoenix, he sent her back to the real world as he cast Void Bomb at the group. When the projectile hit one monster, it exploded, which took out many of them.
Atlas continued fighting the World Eaters, who turned all their attention on him as he pulled up the total to see how many he had killed.
[Void Tarrasque -1000/1000]
[Void Shadow Tarrasque - 500/500]
[Void World-Eater - 89/250]

Following that, Atlas killed a few more before returning to the real world when a World Eater got him from behind. Seconds passed, and he woke up in the quiet treehouse as Amethyst was cuddled up to him.
He noticed she was still awake and grabbed her by the waist until she was straddling his waist with a sweet smile. The phoenix woman commented in a happy tone, ''What are you up to, my love?''
Without a word, Atlas pulled her closer, his arms wrapping around her as he claimed her plump lips in a bold, fiery kiss. She melted into the moment, leaning against him as their passion ignited.
The passion spoke volumes more than words ever could as they continued for a few minutes until breaking apart. Amethyst looked at him as her purple eyes glowed with love as she spoke. ''What was that for?''
Atlas smiled when hearing her soft voice before pulling her closer and wrapping his arms around her waist as he rested his head against her shoulder. Following that, the two of them fell asleep as the storm continued outside.
The next morning, Atlas woke up to the soft snoring of the phoenix woman, who was curled up on his lap. He stayed like this until Nulia appeared from her bedroom and when she saw him, a big smile appeared on the brown-skinned beauty's face.
''Morning Atlas, comfortable?'' she asked, while making her way to the kitchen.
Atlas gently put Amethyst onto the sofa before standing up and stretching his limbs, causing popping noises to echo throughout the living room. Following that, he joined the Frostbear woman as she made tea.
''Yes, it was a good sleep. What about you?'' he answered.
Nulia gave him a big smile as she asked, ''Can you spend the night with me, please?''
Atlas nodded in agreement before replying, ''Yes, I will go talk to Ulric to see if there is any other place they can go to hide from the empire.''
''Those dogs annoy me, but I'm glad we're fighting back,'' she exclaimed after sipping some tea. ''They were easy to kill. We got the drop of them, which helped us.''
He agreed with a smile while replying. ''Yes, and I still have more monsters to unlock thanks to the Void Realm.''
Following that, Atlas and Nulia continued speaking until the tea was gone, and he stood up. ''I'm going to see the wolves. See you shortly.''
The Frostbear woman offered him a warm smile as he stepped out of the treehouse, the crisp, icy air immediately brushing against his skin. Atlas pulled his winter cloak tighter around himself, the thick fabric shielding him from the biting cold.
He began his trek toward the cabin; the snow crunching softly under his boots as the frosty landscape stretched out before him. It took him ten minutes to reach the wolf's home, and he knocked.
A few minutes later, the older wolf man opened the door with an exhausted expression, but Atlas quickly spoke. ''Do you have a safe place I could take you and your people?''
Ulric briefly thought before answering with a nod. ''Yes, there is a massive forest in the Frostfang Kingdom where the surviving rebels are hiding.''
''Okay, you wolves will stay here while I travel across northern Astoria while attacking the empire,'' Atlas answered, but Zena appeared.
The black-haired wolf woman spoke in a determined voice. ''Can I join you on your journey, Atlas? I know you have five women who I can be friends with,''
When he heard this, he was taken aback but shrugged. ''You're welcome to. More spells will always be welcome.''
Zena nodded before stepping forward and continuing, ''Don't think I'm joining your harem. I want revenge against those empire dogs.''
''I don't expect every woman to join. Those five are enough for me,'' Atlas replied with a chuckle. ''Do you want to come meet them? Nulia is awake, but the others are still sleeping.''
When the wolf heard this, she looked at her father. Ulric chuckled before asking, ''Will you make sure she's safe while out there?''
He fixed him with a piercing gaze, his eyes narrowed in determination as he replied, ''Of course I would. You can ask any of my women, and they'll tell you the same, even if it means taking attacks meant for them.''
Ulric nodded in understanding before holding out his hand, which he took as the lion man spoke in a respectful voice, ''Thank you for everything. Once the world is back to normal, the Shadowfang Kingdom will honor your actions.''
Atlas waved the man off with a warm smile. ''It's fine, Ulric. I despise the empire even more than you do, and helping you was just part of that.''
Ulric nodded but quickly turned his attention to his wife, tending to her with care. Meanwhile, Zena bid a heartfelt goodbye to her family. Atlas was waiting outside for the wolf woman. He studied his surroundings and noticed all the cabins were full.n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om
Without thinking, he started creating more while burning through his mana. Minutes later, Zena appeared. ''Let's get out of this weather, it's horrible,'' she said while putting a hood up.
Atlas agreed, before leading her back to the treehouse and stepping onto the walkway. When the duo entered, the hot air washed over them, causing Zena to let out a satisfied smile, causing Nulia's head to snap in the wolf's direction.
She jumped up and let out a threatening growl which the princess reacted to, but Atlas bonked them both on the head while speaking, ''Stop with that shit you two, it's too cold for it.''
Following that, he approached the nearby sofa that was right in front of the fire and slumped into it as he spoke, ''Nulia, this is Zena Shadowfang, princess of the wolf kingdom we're currently inside.''
The black-haired woman looked at the Frostbear woman with wide eyes as she spoke in an amazed voice, ''What is your kind doing down here? I'm surprised the empire isn't scared already.''
''It's just me, so you Southerners don't need to worry,'' Nulia said casually as she took a seat next to Atlas. A sly smile played on her lips as she added, ''And I'm here because he's my future husband.''
The wolf woman's eyes widened in shock at the bold declaration, her gaze darting between Nulia and Atlas. Before Zena could say anything, Atlas calmly gestured for her to sit down. Hesitating for a moment, she complied, taking a seat as the tension in the air lingered.
''There will be no fighting between you girls,'' he finally spoke. ''We're fighting the empire while heading south.''
When the two women heard this, they nodded in agreement as Nulia spoke, ''We can start moving soon, the storms dying down.''
