Level Up: Voidwalker

Atlas watched as the wolf woman's magic spread warmth around their bodies, getting rid of the chill which caused him to sigh. Before long, the comforting heat lulled them both into a deep sleep, nestled together beneath the embrace of a shared blanket.

They snuggled together on the comfortable sofa as the storm outside intensified. Although the wind and rain pummeled the Otherworld and treehouse, the fire and Zena's magic kept them warm.

The next morning, Atlas woke up to snoring, causing him to open his eyes and notice Zena was curled up on his lap, which brought a smile to his face. 'Adorable, but I need to stretch. My back is hurting,' he thought.

Following that, he got out of bed just as the cold air hit his body, causing him to shiver before turning to the window. Atlas approached it and glanced out, only to see the Otherworld covered in snow.

'At least it's not constantly hot. It would be unnatural,' he mused as he walked over to the kitchen to make some tea.

As Atlas prepared the tea, he cast a Void Bullet into the nearby fireplace, igniting it in a mesmerizing burst of blue flame. The fire radiated warmth as he boiled the water for his brew.

Minutes later, the tea was ready. Atlas approached the table, which offered a perfect view of the snow-covered landscape outside. A sigh escaped him as he looked over at the peaceful scene.

The frosted trees, the tranquil forest, and the cozy treehouse. Inside, the girls remained fast asleep, bundled warmly beneath their blankets, undisturbed by the quiet beauty of the wintry morning.

He sat there in peaceful silence while sipping on the tea before equipping his helmet and leaving the Otherworld to make his way to the Frostfang Kingdom. When touching and stepping into the snow, it crunched under his feet.

'Now it's time to find the survivors to unload the wolves.'

Following that, Atlas transformed into his Voidwalker form, which sent the aura of death washing over the landscape. He quickly took off southeast and headed straight for the white wolf kingdom.

Thanks to his form, he could run fast thanks to sending mana into his legs as he rushed across the snowy landscape. While passing through a forest, a monster lunged out of the shadows and swiped at him.

Atlas quickly dodged the sudden attack before countering with a Void Bomb that destroyed the forest bear and turned it into meat chunks. He grinned when seeing this, but continued and came across an Achaemenid patrol on a nearby road.n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om

'Now it's time to have fun,' he thought before heading toward the large group of men.

Without making a single noise, Atlas barreled into the column of Empire soldiers while he used his claws to tear through their armor with ease. Once the men and women were panicking, he let out an ear-piercing roar.

He quickly bit down on one man, who struck him with a spear. Atlas continued his massacre of the patrol until he cut the last man in half. Blood and body parts covered the ground, but this didn't bother him.

While standing there, Atlas heard a twig snap, causing him to spin around as an Achaemenid Mage cast a spell at him. The projectile slammed into his chest, sending him crashing along the ground before he hit a tree.

''Ah fuck, why didn't I sense that fucker,'' he muttered as his head hurt and he returned to his normal form.

The mage started casting spells at him but Atlas quickly cast Void Guard to black the sudden attacks. When the magic hit the barrier, they exploded just before he retaliated with a Void Lance that the enemy dodged.

Following that, the two of them started fighting as he closed in on the mage with his swords. When the man spotted this, his eyes widened but quickly cast more spells in his direction and this time they were fireballs.

Without slowing down, Atlas cut right through the magic with a smile before using Void Step to appear behind the mage. He drove his blade through the man's neck, causing his arms to fall limp.

'Finally dead,' he thought with a sigh. 'Now I can rest for a little while.'

Once the enemy crashed to the ground, Atlas sat down on a nearby log while cleaning his swords as Estelle's voice rang in his mind, 'What are you up to, my love?'

The sudden sound made him jump, his heart racing. Quickly, he opened a portal, and through it stepped the blonde with a warm smile. However, her sharp blue eyes narrowed the moment she saw him struggling to catch his breath.

She cast Healing Light on him with a muttered before cuddling him. Atlas was surprised, but quickly reciprocated while grabbing her soft ass, which made Estelle giggle, ''Don't go rushing off without one of us. I can sense the empire mage's magic all over you.''

''The mage got me from behind, but he's dead now,'' he responded while enjoying her cleavage.

Following that, the two of them broke apart as Artemis joined them with a big smile and glowing brown eyes, ''Now we're seeing some action. There's an Achaemendian Fortress a few miles away.''

''How do you know that?'' Estelle questioned with a curious expression.

The brunette pointed up causing them to look only to see an eagle circling above, ''I've seen it, the place isn't as big as the last one but it's still a suitable target.''

Hearing this, Atlas gave a firm nod of agreement before responding, ''You two return to the Otherworld and get the others ready. I'll head toward the fortress in the meantime.''

They agreed before kissing his cheek and stepping through the portal as he started making his way to the empire's castle, which was a couple of miles away. Atlas got annoyed with the snow and summoned Nala.

The Deathmaw Lion appeared, her massive form exuding power as she nudged Atlas gently. Without hesitation, he climbed onto her broad back, his voice steady as he commanded, ''Head southeast, Nala. We've got some soldiers to kill.''
