Chapter 693 - ADD
ADD
693 Help You to Get Justice
Bai Xi Xi’s good mood after going out with Aunt Yun and Qi Yue suddenly disappeared and a deep frown appeared on her face.
Bai Xi Xi contemplated this new trouble for a long time, wondering what she should do about Jian Chi. She wondered if Fu Chen would know about the rumor on the school’s forum as well.
Earlier that day, many of the students decided not to believe her dating rumor just because there was no proof that she and Fu Chen were together.
But now, Jian Chi had posted the photo of her and Fu Chen walking home together. The photo posted on the forum was from yesterday, taken behind their back.
With the angle, the photo of her and Fu Chen might seem a little ambiguous.
Bai Xi Xi could already imagine the noises the students will make tomorrow morning.
Her lips pursed into a thin line as Bai Xi Xi tried to figure out what she should do.
“Aunt, are you alright?”
The voice snapped her out of her trance. Bai Xi Xi turned and saw that Bai Xiang was looking at her with worry.
.....
The little boy has been paying attention to everything around him from the beginning. Naturally, Bai Xiang saw how his aunt went to the side to answer the phone call. Then, he noticed how her mood seemed to have changed after staring at her phone for a while.
Seeing this made him worry and Bai Xiang decided to go over and talk to his aunt.
“Why did your expression look bad?” Bai Xiang continued when his aunt did not answer him quickly. “Aunt, did someone bully you?”
The boy’s words made her heart filled with warmth. Bai Xi Xi smiled, knowing that her nephew was concerned about her.
“Aunt, you have to tell me if someone bullies you,” Bai Xiang spoke. “I will help you to get justice.”
Bai Xi Xi was amused. “What if someone bullied me? Bai Cai, you are so small. How are you going to help me get some justice?”
The little boy considered this matter for a while. In school, he could still protect his friends as the bullies were the same age and size as him. But his aunt was a grown-up. It was indeed difficult to help his aunt find justice.
Bai Xi XI was about to tell her nephew that it was alright and that she could handle some matters herself. However, Bai Xiang had then spoken again.
“Then, I’ll tell my mom about it,” Bai Xiang said. “Anyway, my mom is powerful. If there is anything that I cannot figure out, my mom would know how to deal with it.”
Bai Xi Xi raised her head to look at her sister-in-law who was playing with Fairy Jing Jing. The sound of the little girl’s laughter filled the room.
“Aunt, if there is something that you cannot figure out, you have to talk to my mom,” Bai Xiang continued. “My dad said, if we run into something we cannot solve, we have to find an adult and talk to them.”
Bai Xi Xi stretched her arms and patted the little boy on his head and smiled. “Un. I know. I will go and look for your mom if I run into trouble. Bai Cai, thank you for reminding me.”
The boy looked at his aunt for a while. He was finally at ease upon seeing that the troubled expression was no longer on his aunt’s face.
“Alright. I will go upstairs and get changed first,” Bai Xi Xi spoke. “Later, I will accompany you to do your homework, alright?”
After saying a few words with Bai Xiang, Bai Xi Xi went to her room to change her clothes. Then, she came down again to look for her sister-in-law with her phone in her hand.
Bai Xi Xi found Zhang Li Xue in the backyard, practicing her basketball skills with Bai Jing Jing watching her.
The little girl clapped her hands happily upon seeing her mother dribble the basketball on the court.
Bai Xi Xi stood beside her niece as she watched her sister-in-law’s practice for a while.
As if noticing that someone was watching her, Zhang Li Xue stopped in her track and looked up. Her lips curled into an arc when she saw Bai Xi Xi standing beside her daughter.
“Xi Xi, do you want to accompany me to play?” Zhang Li Xue asked.
Bai Xi Xi looked at the basketball, tempted. However, she realized that this was not the time for her to play basketball. “Sister-in-law, there is something that I wanted to discuss with you.”
Zhang Li Xue held the basketball in her hand before walking over to Bai Xi Xi. Seeing the look on Bai Xi Xi’s face made her frown. “What is it?”
It was rare for Bai Xi Xi to come to her to discuss something. Therefore, Zhang Li Xue was curious. Moreover, Bai Xi Xi seemed to be in a strange mood since yesterday.
Bai Xi Xi hesitated for a brief second. Then, she tapped the phone in her hand and showed her sister-in-law the screen. “Sister-in-law, look.”
Zhang Li Xue took the phone from Bai Xi Xi and read the post on the forum. The look on her face turned darker as she finished reading the post. Her gaze then fell on the photo and Zhang Li Xue looked up again. “This boy... Who is he?”
“Sister-in-law, this is Fu Chen. He is the newly transferred student at my school.”
Zhang Li Xue had heard about Fu Chen from Zhang Qi Lin not too long ago.
“Sister-in-law, Fu Chen lives around the park area. Coincidentally, we were using the same path to go home. However, someone was spreading rumor like this,” Bai Xi Xi said. “Sister-in-law, we are innocent.”
Although Zhang Li Xue really did not mind if Bai Xi Xi was in a relationship, it did not mean that she would accept someone to spread some rumor about her sister-in-law.
One look at the post would tell her that the person who posted this on the forum had the intention to smear Bai Xi Xi’s reputation.
Zhang Li Xue raised her head again and smiled. “Don’t worry about this. I know what to do.” She turned to grab her phone. Then, Zhang Li Xue called her brother and ask for his help to remove the post from the forum.
