Chapter 24: The brawl
As soon as Tang Ziyi landed on the floor, her back foot lunged herself over. She smashed her elbow at the guard's temple. It was too fast and the guard had no time to react.
He fell down limp, flat on the g. This was the sight, Xiao Yue saw wh she had finished jumping over.
Two guards behind threw a punch wh Tang Ziyi sprinted toward them. She ducked underneath and palmed the other at the throat, followed by another strike at the crotch.
Tang Ziyi watched as the man dropped on the floor, holding the painful area and rolled like a shrimp. Wh the remaining man who missed his punch wanted to make the same move again, his knees buckled due to pain.
Xiao Yue was behind with her foot raised as she broke the knee. And she stomped on his face and knocked him unconscious.
Three m down, no one left standing on the field. Tang Ziyi and Xiao Yue paced calmly as they knew their jammer was working properly, shutting down any electronics nearby.
It seemed not one was alerted in the vicinity. And all of a sudd, the door oped from the corner. A man came out, holding his belt and pulling something underneath.
Tang Ziyi and Xiao Yue paused while the man was stunned at the two strange ladies already in the restricted area. He was about to curse his colleagues why they let them through and his sight was over the unconscious m behind the two ladies.
Time became stagnant as the man was stunned for a momt and rushed to the building to warn the rest, shouting all over his lungs. Before Tang Ziyi was about to chase, something flew by her side; the man tumbled to the floor and didn't move anymore.
She looked at the culprit, which rolled for a while and stopped. It was a stone, the size of a fist. Tang Ziyi turned her head to the side and Xiao Yue returned a smile, probably with her tongue out. Despite hidd underneath the mask, Tang Ziyi's face became weird wh she saw such a picture.
Her lips twitched as her eyes rolled back and forth. "Was it just now a hidd weapon technique in the ancit martial arts?"
Xiao Yue nodded. "Any substances can be regarded as hidd weapons. Since a stone was right below my feet, I pick it up and threw it. My aim is still good. Right Sister Ziyi?"
Tang Ziyi replied: "Naturally, I'm ev vious. Although I can throw knives and darts accurately, but for this distance, I'm not ev compett as yours."
What else could she say? Xiao Yue was suddly playful after she remembered her childhood memories. She didn't want to disturb her mood; so she nodded and gestured her head to continue.
By the trance, Xiao Yue nodded imperceptibly and both oped the double doors simultaneously. The hall inside was dark except for some lights beaming from underneath, which was the staircase leading toward the underg.
The man beside had his eyes glued on the thick wood desk still busy but his mouth said. "Hey, bro. I just heard your shout. What happed with the fellas outside that you screamed like a little girl?"
Tang Ziyi approached him and since she didn't reply, the man looked up. But that was the d as Tang Ziyi smashed his forehead against the desk hard.
Bang! Thud!
"Let's go," Tang Ziyi crackled her knuckles as their footsteps echoed across the stairs. Another door.
Up till now, all the staff here she countered who were responsible for the securities didn't possess any exceptional skills required for their task. The fact was comforting as the task became easier.
Surprise elemts remained in the hands of Tang Ziyi and Xiao Yue. The two twisted the handles of the door and saw two m a the circular table playing cards while they smoked.
Their vigilance was too low from Tang Ziyi's view, ev Xiao Yue frowned at their deeds.
In front of people who behaved similarly the two wom— a warrior mindset— where they met very little resistance — became hesitant to ev hurt them as told by Ling Qingyu.
Breaking bones and abolishing them from continuing to participate in these underg activities. That was the goal here. Although it was hard, Xiao Yue and Tang Ziyi both believed they could accomplish it.
Afterward, the two let out their breath after realizing how these groups were also harming many ordinary people.
Their pace attracted the atttion of the two m. But their shock only last a while wh the fight began.
The door behind snapped op as one of them flew over and rolled through the next room. Tang Ziyi and Xiao Yue now got the atttion of the tire underg ara group.
A large number of staff stared at them, dumbfounded still hadn't reacted to the attacks. It was a huge hall similar to a bar where there were seats and tables for drinks. There was no guest not a single one of them on site and Tang Ziyi's group was delighted to avoid their atttion.
Some m rushed toward them and the two Valkyrie were also unafraid. The brawl was brutal yet beautiful.
No underestimation was from the m's side as they already understood the intruders might have skills. They threw everything they've got ev if the opponts were ladies.
Perhaps some were still imagining doing something unspeakable after they won. Because in their opinion the two ladies were totally outnumbered, not realizing the fact that Tang Ziyi and Xiao Yue had sufficit confidce to ter the wolf d.
While the waitresses had sympathy on their faces, most of them were reluctantly recruited. Very few joined willingly. They hoped the two warrioresses escaped fast wh they had a chance.
Sheer chaos sued as both sides clashed but the results wer't as most imagined.
