Chapter 8 Goblin Mob
Lei Zhen continued to spend the next few minutes navigating the skill tree, hoping that there are more other skills than Stun alone.
However, he was just too low level to be able to access the locked skills.
"The disappointment of being a level 1 is really not fun." Lei Zhen smiled bitterly.
It wasn't that he doesn't want to level up now, but the area he was transported in is literally impossible for him to level up.
One attack from an enemy in Lux Forest is enough to kill him.
After all, there will be a 49 level gap between him and the enemy.
Scratching his head, Lei Zhen decided to take his first step into the lush greenery forest.
At the same time, he begged for his safety and that he could make it out alive.
With his hand clutching tightly on the Novice Staff, Lei Zhen was walking in extreme cautiousness.
He made sure to be stealthy to avoid alerting any possible enemies in the vicinity.
'Steady and careful is the way,' he thought.
Sometime later, a shriek of crying echoed from afar, shocking Lei Zhen for the sudden outburst.
"W-What the heck?" Lei Zhen exclaimed in surprise.
Checking the map right away, Lei Zhen found a red dot 1km west away from his current location.
'Great, I thought it was a player, but it was a monster that was screaming aloud for no reason.'
Sometime later, Lei Zhen slowly walked toward the location of the red dot, and once he got close enough, his eyes were wide open.
In front of him was a hideous-looking green goblin. The goblin was short, with his height around 3 feet tall. And the most noticeable thing was the red scarf around its neck.
In addition, the green goblin was holding a small dagger in his hand, with saliva dripping down from his mouth, creating a disgusting sight.
As the green goblin walked around aimlessly, Lei Zhen narrowed his eyes to analyze the goblin.
Soon, a system prompt magically appeared in front of Lei Zhen, showing the details of the goblin.
[Species: Goblin Mob]
Level 50
HP: 743/743
Description: Goblin Mob is the common monster that is spread all across Magnolia. They are extremely hideous looking and perverted. Their size might be laughable, but they are extremely deadly when grouped together.
'That's it? What is the attack power of the Goblin Mob? What are its skills and attack moves?' Lei Zhen was dumbfounded by the negligence of detail.
How was he supposed to win a fight with such little information?
Suddenly, while Lei Zhen was pondering over the superficial information, the Goblin Mob noticed the presence of Lei Zhen.
SHRIEK!
It made a loud shrieking cry as it shone a malicious expression. His eyes had turned completely red and the dagger in his hand started to glow.
"Crap…" Lei Zhen muttered as he quickly kicked the soft soil on the ground, propelling himself back.
Meanwhile, the Goblin Mob had only become more relentless when it saw Lei Zhen retreating.
The Goblin Mob's speed increased and it managed to close the distance between them.
Lei Zhen was dumbfounded by the situation. It was simply way too realistic on the behavior it had performed.
"Magnolia, did you really need to create such a difficult enemy?" he cried aloud.
Swoosh!
The Goblin Mob swung its dagger and Lei Zhen had safely avoided the tip of the dagger by a millimeter.
However, his expression changed when he realized an unknown force of power was surging in his stomach.
BOOM!
Without knowing what had just happened, Lei Zhen was knocked back 5km away as he crashed on a tree, stopping his momentum.
"BLERGH," Lei Zhen vomited a mouthful of blood as he took a huge direct hit.
Ding!
[You have been hit by the Goblin Mob's Dagger Jab]
[Your Health Point has decreased by 250]
[Current HP: 105]
Lei Zhen's face had turned pale as he used his sleeve to wipe off the remaining blood from his mouth.
At the same time, Lei Zhen was truly traumatized by the 100% immersive gameplay that Magnolia had brought.
He had actually felt like he was being stabbed by someone in real life. The experience was definitely not a good one.
Alas, he had no time to ponder over the damage he received when the Goblin Mob caught up to him.
The Goblin Mob had his disgusting lips curled upward, seemingly trying to taunt and laugh at the miserable sight of Lei Zhen.
It was a provocation and one that is commonly used to cause your enemy to lose their cool and decision-making.
'Trying to provoke me huh?' Lei Zhen sneered inwardly.
"What a shame for you Goblin Mob… Thanks to your previous hit, I managed to find an amazing effect from my Unique Class." He smiled wickedly.
Holding his Novice Staff up high, Lei Zhen began chanting the [Stun] spell.
Meanwhile, the Goblin Mob ignored his action and propelled itself forward, activating his [Dagger Jab] skill.
"Not this time, Goblin Mob." Lei Zhen smirked as he finished chanting his spell.
ραпdα nᴏνa| сom "Stun," he shouted aloud.
[Stun has been cast]
[40 Mana Point has been consumed]
[Current Mana Point: 90]
After the Stun has been successfully cast, a large circle was formed beneath the Goblin Mob's feet.
The Goblin Mob was unaware of this change as it was completely focused on trying to kill Lei Zhen with his intense bloodlust.
Lei Zhen remained calm as he stood still and watched as the Goblin Mob stopped in front of him.
Ding!
[Goblin Mob has been stunned]
[Due to the Unique Class: Crowd Controller, the effect of Stun is multiplied by tenfold, and mana consumption is halved]
Thanks to his Crowd Controller, the original duration of stun is now multiplied by tenfold, meaning the Goblin Mob would be immobile for 50 seconds.
And with his mana point being regenerated by one each second, Lei Zhen could permanently immobilize the Goblin Mob.
Lifting his sleeves up, Lei Zhen smiled calmly at the raging Goblin Mob.
"That Dagger Jab of yours really hurt, Goblin Mob. So please forgive me because I'm about to slowly hack you to death."
