Chapter 1087 Battle Of Monarchs
Embers erupted as my fist shattered the lightning spear, forcing the Monarch of Lightning away, as cold intent flared off my person.
"Two elder Gods against a high god. Now how is that fair?" I mused jokingly, cracking a smile, sensing the Monarch of Wind had vanished from my perception. In an instant, he was beside the Monarch of Lightning.
"Oh?" I noted, taken in by the features of these two that seemed to match with one another. They were brothers… twins, probably. While the Monarch of Lightning glowed with an Azure hue, his facial expression matched the other. Both shared narrowed faces and phoenix-like eyes that seemed to carry bloodlust.
"By The Sect of Evermooon, I, Lorian—"
"And I, Draxo!"
"Here, by claim your head." They both phrased.
"Y'all finishing each other sentences? Not to point judgment, but it's only cute when women do it; Unless you are smashing your brother… even then, it's not cute. Again no judgment, but you can tell me. I promise I'll keep this a secret. Is there some step-bro shit going on."
Jaws immediately dropped and flared red as Lorian, the Monarch of Lightning, and the Monarch of Wind Draxo instantly exploded with divinity!
"What? Have I offended you?" I hesitantly jeered, toying with these two idiots.
"You're a sick bastard Arsene Snow! Do you think we will bear such a dishonor?" Lorian howled, summoning a beautiful silver blade spear. Almost as if it was as white as snow, it shimmered with an azure effervescent light.
Draxo, on the other, drew forth a scepter from the laws of winds. Almost immediately, I felt scars of winds attacking my body, trying to carve through my flesh to no avail.
Releasing a long sigh, I glanced at Adrian, focused on his battle, not bothering with his Master, and chuckled: How cold.
"Are you two sure about this?" I addressed, lifting my eye toward the two Monarchs. "I'd hate to be called Monarch Killer."
Lorian sneered. "You cannot be allowed to exist."
"By Order of the Eternal Flame, we will end you."
The smile over my lips slipped into a gruesome grimace as a profound withering began to devour laws, tearing apart the fabric of reality. Noctem flashed into my palm, trembling with a ravenous bloodlust.
Mountains began to tremble and crumble as my aura rippled out over the battlefield slaughtering millions in a blink of an eye.
"So the Myriad Gods are intervening? Good… very good. I'd heard the lonesome bastards did the same for Zariel."
So the Sect of Evermoon works for the Eternal Flame.
Lorian smirked and, without hesitation, lunged at me. " Quantum Flash."
Taken back as he appeared instantaneous like Shadow Step, I didn't react foolishly, but rather, I remained poised as his spear rushed towards my neck. Spear intent burned and crackled with vicious arcs of lightning.
My eye slid to Draxo wrapped in emerald pentagrams and runes that bled an almighty aura that sent shivers down my spine.
That spell… fuses Lightning, Light, Wind, and, Oh, who cares.
Allowing Lorians spear to touch my body, a ripple of Forsaken Qi erupted thousands of kilometers, turning Lorians Spear and Draxo's scepter alongside the enemy army weapons to ash.
"Eh?'
My left leg rose with the daze expression on Lorian's face as blood raced down his nose. My foot slapped over his face, tearing off a chunk of flesh. His body flew, tearing through the winds, like a spear hundreds of parsecs away.
Draxo, on the other hand, was vomiting blood from the vicious backlash he faced. As both his Monarch Weapon shattered and his Arcane spell erupted.
By the time the Monarch of Wind could lift his head, Noctem was pressing against his neck.
BOOOOOOOOOOM~"
Forced back as a Shield of Warding suddenly flared to life, saving his life, to my amazement. I didn't dare lose any more momentum as I Shadowed Stepped above him; moving like an ethereal demon, I cleaved Noctem down.
"Severing Chains!"
Blood whipped over my cheeks, tearing through whatever defense Draxo held, following the almighty arc of dark energy cutting through his limb like hot butter.
Catching his arm withered to nothing but a bone by my darkness, I smiled as he howled in pain. Shuttering as his body began to age hundreds of years in but moments. The young appearance he once held had faded to that of a middle age man.
Draxo clenched the stump of his arm and glared viciously at me with enough hate that it began to materialize off the base of his being.
"You'll pay!"
"He'll definitely pay!" Lorian cried, appearing near his brother with a missing cheekbone on the left side of his face.
I smiled. And lazily placed Noctem onto my shoulder. "Come now. I think it's quite clear to everyone that you two are outclassed. It's alright. You're not even paragons. Lorian, can you even see? Your left eye looks pretty bad. And Draxo? Man, you are missing an arm, and that backlash ruptured some organs. I win… I always win."
"You think… we will lose? You think we will die here!" The two howled in unison. "You are but a Fourth Level Being! While we! WE ARE MORE!!!!!"
My brow jumped, and an amusing glint shimmered through my eyes as I shrugged. "I've got the power to kill a Fifth Level being. I've had that power for a long time."
A/N: Said when he faced off against the original Bael.
"Come on, show me something good. I'm amused." I challenged. " Come on. Do it. Call upon the Lord of the Eternal Flame."
Sucking in a deep breath, an icy wave of bloodlust rippled off me as Black Sabbath began pulsing off my body. Like a black flame had cloaked my body, I felt the Weave around me tremble.
"Heed our call! And grant thee thy blessing! Oh, Lord of the Eternal Flame, Pillar of the Brilliance Beyond the Dawn! And Lord of the Immortal Phoenix!"
"Cute," I teased as the battle below halted. "Sera, take care of Adrian. I'm going to enjoy this one."
Lifting my head towards the skies that began to spiral with the Concepts of Eternity, Reincarnation, Death, and Life. I watched with a calm grin as a single red feather congealed; the hairs on my neck stood on end as I felt a sliver of Seraphic Qi upon the feather.
"A Nephilim Feather!" Lily cried.
