There is a threat in it, and I become more cautious. The bastard is powerful. While he won't be able to kill in a single move, he could slow me down.

I have to show him that it will be as costly to him as it would be to me.

So, I flashed him a big radiant smile as he looked at me.

His smile froze for a moment, but his smile was radiant as well. Though there is no warmth, it promises to kill me. He hid it well, but I could see it.

Time passed and soon every minute someone began to increase the speed, and we all

matched.

Changing speed wouldn't affect the attack, but it will make others move forward. I do not want to give up the distance.

I need to have enough distance between us. that I would be able to catch with them, in a fraction of seconds, the moment we let go of everything.

That will happen when we get closer to the finish line.

This faint edge wouldn't give me the top lotus. If I did not come first. Which I do.

The breakthrough is going to be hard for me and the best lotus will help me a lot with that. Though, there is one doubt in my heart, whether it will let me make the breakthrough at all.

It is for Sky Sovereigns breaking through the prime.

While I am an Earth Sovereign breaking through the Sky Sovereign. I quickly pushed the thought away; I did not want to think about it until I got the lotus.
